The goths migrated from the Baltic, through Poland to the Black Sea (where Theodoro is), then westwards.
The Goths in Theodoro are the Ostrogoths, the ones you're thinking of are the Visigoths. They both originated in Prussia, but split up with the Hunnic invasions, with the Visigoths settling in northern Italy, southern France, and Iberia.

Starting the Gothic invasion is all well and good, but what would be even better is starting a fire emblem lets play (posted in honour of the guy who always comments about that)
Since my presence doesn't seem to be well received, I'd like to offer some constructive criticism. I think the thumbnail could be improved.
Like, just at a glance the transition from Theodoro to Gothia doesn't seem that impressive. The only reason I thought that was impressive is because I am EU4 brainrot and know the Europe map by heart, but outside of that, I couldn't feel the difference like I can with other thumbnails.

I bit the bullet and decided to play Thracia 776 and it's great, highly recommend. Worst possible FE to play blind, so many weird mechanics, would be hilarious is Laith played it
I have the impression the new DLC has weakened then Ottomans and severely improved the Hungarians, in my games since I got Winds of Change, the Ottomans have struggled to launch and Hungary is able to at least maintain them at bay for way longer
