Hello. Thank you for sharing your techniques! I just found your channel the other day and love your vids I have seen so far so I subscribed. :) May I please have the link to the sketches of the butterfly wings? I could not find it in the description box. Thanks again!
Hi, I forgot I hadn't put the link up. Many thanks for reminding me. I have a busy couple of days, but I will put it up on Monday. Thanks for watching, and all the very best, Louise X😀
Thanks for the information and inspiration❣️ I have a rice-based starch at hand and will try some rounded shapes. They’ll takes days and days to fully dry, but you’ve got me interested enough to give it a go even if patience is required 😆.
Hi Lynne Sorry for the confusion. I think you are referring to the statement that PVA glues give off a gas that can rot papers. This is only applicable if the gas is enclosed in say a a closed book, or a book in a box or in a frame. Generally, using a piece from which the gas can escape will not damage the papers to the same extent. This is why bookbinding PVA is so expensive; this property has been removed from the glue. I use acrylic binders as they are excellent glues and have been made to use with archival properties in mind. 😀I hope all this helps. Please feel free to ask more questions if this is unclear. All the very best, Louise

Can Nori paste be used for the starch paste?
Hi and yes.
Hello I think what you’re saying with these Glooze is only applying to oil painting am I correct? Because you seem to me very confusing thank you.

Dragonflies
Great idea, they would be wonderful
Is cellulose glue the same as silicone?
Methylcellulose is just like a wall paper paste but without the added chemicals. It's a pure starch x
LOUISE! Where are you? I hope you are well! Have you given up on Yt vid creating?
