Ever since McDonald's stopped toasting their buns and pre-making the meat and put them in a microwave I won't eat a McDonald's anymore! Oh yea the cost of a value meal went from (when I worked at McDonald's) 2.99 to what is today well to me the value of it is gone!
An In-n-Out double double is cheeper than their big mac by almost a dollar. I can't stand their changing menu. I know it's a gimmick to get me to spend more.
Even a Shell will serve you better than this joint hehe. Got the AAA batteries I needed and a decently sized chocolate and caramel candy bar for $5.40. Not a bad way to go out if going to a store isn't an option and delivery charges are through the roofs.
A few years back, we had a sales tax price hike. YOU would not believe how many fast food restaurants raised their price by a few cents on the same day. Guess they figured we are too stupid to calculate the new sales tax backwards. They were right, non of my co workers noticed.
See I use the app all the time for lunch at work but mainly to get food cheaper They almost always have their large fry for $1 so I'll get fries and a McChicken and only spend $2.50 after tax and I bring drinks to work already
i hardly even buy from their value menu. I only buy a large soda from them ($1.10) for a better meal I go to burger king; get a value bacon cheeseburger, chicken jr sandwich, value fries and 10 piece nuggets (all cost $5.29).
You can't blame restaurants for your lack of financial self-discipline. If you manage to be fooled you're to blame for getting more than what you need when you enter their doors it's all about what you want. And as a Cashier is McDonald's my managers always want me to upsell, but I always downsell because I will not change my integrity for no company, I was hired to work there's not scam. They upsold the Filet and I tried it to see if it was good, it was not surprising at all. So now I tell people "McDonalds wants me to upsell items in this establishment would you like to try the Filet? Personally I think it's not anything surprising but if you would like to try it" if they say no then it's the end of it pay. If McDonald's wants to sell they need to make better stuff nothing in the menu is special or good, it's all Mid to low tier😮.
here in Philippines, mcdonalds tells you that regular softdrink, the size bundled with the meal, is not available (for 1 pc chicken) and you have to buy the medium size with extra charge... but for other products, regular softdrink is available... wtf😣😣😣
I think the electric menu is just a hassle free menu now thay can change the menu electricly than have to go out and change menu cards on the device by hand
McDonalds is struggling for a reason. They aren't fit for the modern generation. Its menu is limited and has not changed much over the past 30-40 years. They have no relatively healthy options, are vegetarian/vegan unfriendly, gluten allergy unfriendly, kosher unfriendly, and pretty every mainstream fad unfriendly. Whether you like it or not almost every restaurant is picking up on these trends and thats why they are becoming successful.
The so called Big Mac is a complete joke, it has maybe 3 oz of beef between both small patties, you get more bread than anything else. plus the beef patties don't taste like a reg burger.
The worst trick, the App says I came to the franchise earlier when I wanted the discounted promoted food (come back in 30 minutes) when I never did. This never happens at other fast-food restaurants...and now I generally skip Micky D's even if they're the closest to my home. Btw, the chain has the rudest and stupidest employee's with loads of mistakes compared to Carl's Jr and Wendy's which get my order right!
So not adding a $ sign to the amount is a strategy??? But everytime i head out to buy fast food i immediately think of spending money 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ and I buy only what I want 😀 and every time I see a price thats 2.99 I just round it off to $3. Just cuz they put a 2 at the beginning of $2.99 doesnt mean im falling for it.
millenials fall for this regularly but those of us that know the value of a dollar dont. i miss the burger wars of 2000 when everyone had their flagship burger for a dollar in the good ole days the 2 for 2 bigmac or 2 for 2 filet o fish was great. no i'm not spending 5.99 for a big mac that isnt even big anymore or a filet o fish with its crappy third of a slice of cheese hanging over the side to trick you into thinking you got a whole slice of cheese which isnt even real anymore. their value menu is a joke today!, guess where i dont eat anymore? you wont be leaving satisfied unless you drop at least $20!

They have shrunk all of the sandwiches anyway. That big mac doesn't even look like a big mac anymore. Just stop eating that junk anyway. Its crap! They need to paint these restaurants black. Dark colors. I bet they won't get all that business then. 😄😄
Narrator talking too fast. Trying to cram 24 minutes of info into a 12 minute space. As for McD, overpriced and never fresh (Good luck getting a freshly made Filet-o-fish or Big Mac). Skip the McNuggets, unless you enjoy eating solid grease (How many times re-dipped in the fryer?). Burger King is much better.

What do you think about the prices at McDonalds?
I think it's a waste of money just to buy and eat their food.

That freakin dollar menu lol 😂

would you want fries with that lol
I like Wendy’s better but In and out burger 🍔 is the best
We don’t have here...
Too much effort, can’t be bothered.
Their fish (when you can track them down that is...) is indeed insanity good, especially at just 3.99 I believe?
You can pick up a liter of milk at the drive thru of an Australian Mickey D’s? Nice.
