I love how John first smiles all the way, and then looks serious right before saying: "Beverly. Dance with me." That is how serious his love is. And whose eyes can stay dry there?
Men who only want a quick piece without loving her soul. AND women who use men for their own ends and treat them like garbage. I wish women would react like this. In reality, if any of us men came up the escalator, we would have been given the cold shoulder, or yelled at, or made fun of, and then we would have left embarrassed. and alone. (Before any haters reply to this, I am happily married) Yet, both my wife and I , like everyone else, react negatively to the one whom we should love the most. It can a vicious cycle for some.

My favorite thing about this movie is that it could've easily been a movie about him finding another woman who he falls in love with and chasing his "dream" bla bla bla and for a second it made us think that way. But no...in reality, it was a movie about someone who needed to do something that made him feel alive. As someone who loves to dance but never got to pursue it, I LOVE that about this film.
