For a drawing idea it would be interesting to see your take on making book cover illustrations for your favourite book or a book from childhood or something like that, or if you want a smaller idea maybe some daffodiles. For a drawing idea I think drawing from history is fun, like greek mythology or even historic figures like joan of arc, or khutulun. Or even taking statues and making them characters.

Drawing Idea: I would love to see a nice woodsy scene, something magical but also like 'stuck in time' almost. Like the rest of the world hasn't touched it. But it has alot of character and charm. I'm feeling dreamy from all the extra reading I have been able to fit in during this time. And I feel like many of us would love to live in this type of place right now because you could still go out and explore with out worry.

Thanks for this Fran. It was just what I needed. After a week break I’m back working on my picture book project, I was so worried it was going to be dropped but thankfully the client wants me to continue! It has been really tricky now that my studio has been taken over by my husband who is working full time from home and also my kids being at home(we are in full lockdown in New Zealand). I know it will be a bit of trial and error to work out how we make our new normal work for us. Thank you for your calm and chilled videos in such a hectic time💜

I am spending the year working through The Artists Way. There are 12 chapters so from today I will start my April chapter. I don't do Morning Pages every day unfortunately, but I am finding doing them and the exercises really quite amazing xxx

THANK YOU for showing random little daily things, because you taught me that there are REUSABLE CLOTH COFFEE FILTERS! I had never even thought of reusable ones for my pour-over coffees. Immediately went on Etsy and found some made of hemp to order. I do compost the ones that I use currently, but I really like the idea of reusable ones.

Drawing Idea: A glass terrarium situation, with succulents and maybe a person sitting inside, doing something passive (reading a book, knitting, etc.) Question: Where should I start looking for freelance illustration work? I have some ideas A) A set of drawings regarding self care- how to care for yourself in times full of anxiety. B) Unicorn, flamenco, bunny and otter having a tea party/ a drawing date and a question: Do you always feel passionate about drawing? Because of course I like doing it but sometimes I have to push myself and even when I do it I dont find so much pleasure in it. Somewhere I heard that if it is your passion you dont have to push yourself.. so - should I just give up? Or is pushing yourself the part of the journey? I know it aint much but :D maybe you will like it. Btw thank you for creating amazing content you are such an inspiration

A collection of tea cups, tea pots (or coffee mugs and coffee pots) and yummy things to eat: pancakes, scones, macarons, (lucuma) layer cake...fancy serviettes and table cloth, with flowers. What do you think? I would go to a tea party like that!
i really needed to hear someone say that it's okay to not do anything ♥️ we've been working from home for the past two weeks and i'm incredibly lucky to have a job that allows me to do that, but after working from home for 8 hours, i don't want to do anything, not even something productive for me, and end up playing video games because they're pretty mindless or taking naps. i guess that's my version of not doing anything... so i hope i, and anyone else going through this slump, gets out of it soon!

I would be so happy to see you drawing people dancing the Lindy Hop (a wonderful swing dance from the 1920s/30s) ♡. Vintage
clothing might make interesting silhouettes :).
Another idea would be people dancing at home in their most ridiculous Pyjamas (i'm thinking of Dinosaur Onesies and Fluffy Bunny Slippers).

B) Unicorn, flamenco, bunny and otter having a tea party/ a drawing date
and a question: Do you always feel passionate about drawing? Because of course I like doing it but sometimes I have to push myself and even when I do it I dont find so much pleasure in it. Somewhere I heard that if it is your passion you dont have to push yourself.. so - should I just give up? Or is pushing yourself the part of the journey?

Your comment about fancy teas sparked an idea: the fancy tea party. A collection of tea cups, tea pots (or coffee mugs and coffee pots) and yummy things to eat: pancakes, scones, macarons, (lucuma) layer cake...fancy serviettes and table cloth, with flowers. What do you think? I would go to a tea party like that!

i really needed to hear someone say that it's okay to not do anything ♥️ we've been working from home for the past two weeks and i'm incredibly lucky to have a job that allows me to do that, but after working from home for 8 hours, i don't want to do anything, not even something productive for me, and end up playing video games because they're pretty mindless or taking naps. i guess that's my version of not doing anything... so i hope i, and anyone else going through this slump, gets out of it soon!

I am quite productive in this crisis, even i have a 1 year old child at home. I try to focus on my projects and work. Every sunday i make a to-do list for the next week. That helps. Also cooking and drawing helps a lot.

Idea: Hamburguesa and Cereal's secret hideouts and adventures when you and Ed aren't looking. The cool stuff birds get up to in the places that we think are ours (humans'), but are actually theirs (like the high up corners of buildings). That one moment when the light comes in at *just* the right angle and makes an entire flat glow.
