🐰Japanese inns are known for their polite service, but the hospitality here was truly exceptional. The staff's OMOTENASHI stood out. 🐰When saying goodbye, the staff lady who looked after us gave me a Japanese candy and a letter scented with chrysanthemum. It was so touching😭💕 🐰The Tanka-zen breakfast requires advance booking, so don’t forget to reserve. 🐰At the Asaichi (Morning Market), the shopkeepers threw in some extra treats for us. We only bought two oyaki, but ended up with five in the bag😂 It's Time to Travel Membership ua-cam.com/channels/QDKpfTS6haXS6BAHebR8Hw.htmljoin
Musuko, my son, just spent his first day in Narita Japan, from Australia, today and he sent me a short video saying - yes, we all know everyone in Japan is so nice, but EVERYONE IN JAPAN IS SO NICE! The hospitality is beyond amazing! It certainly shines in this video, service that goes above and beyond 🍁🌼💜 Beautifully presented as always 🪷 Arigatou gozaimasu 🙏
İf Japanese daily life alway that way then one should have lots of facilities but the question is if all Japanese women able to set a breakfast with 31 dish daily ...😅
I always love your ryokan videos. They're my favorite places in Japan because they're all about just letting loose and relax instead of just being your usual hotel where you stay in and check out. Also I like that small clip of the old lady laughing because "oops I'm on camera!" lol.
I like room 108. All are nice with the tranquil touches of a spa. I like the sound of dripping or running water. So soothing. LOL the candy was like a walnut, hard to open. As an American, we're used to large dishes, but I like the food being served as samples. There is so much that you end up full anyway. That breakfast looked awesome. Thank you for sharing your unique experience.
I didnt know about Hirugami Onsen, and its always great to learn about new places. For me, when I choose a Ryokan, I am looking at the baths and the food. Those are the two most important things there. I also prefer to stay in a Ryokan where we can sleep on futons in a room with tatami covered floors. For sitting however, I like to have "western chairs", as I cant sit on the floor without having pain in my legs after 2-3 minutes. As we dont drive, we have to rely on public transport. And as we always prefer to stay in a place for 2 nights (and not for one night only), we prefer to stay in a place where there are some restaurants (for lunch) and some other facilities / things to do or visit during the day.
What an amazing videon thank you for sharing this unique ryokan with us! We really liked that you explored the area around the ryokan! See you on the next video! Greetings from germany!
this Ryokan has everything you need for a really good rest. Thank you for showing this amazing place 😊 (I was very surprised to see menu with 31 dishes, I've never seen it before in Japan) 😍
What a beautiful ryokan and the dinner looks so amazing ! Personally, I prefer to eat in a restaurant in the ryokan, is possible in a place where each room gets a separate little room for eating. I like it to be private, but I dont like to eat in our room, because even though the food is delicious, I dont like to have food smells in our bedroom. Your channel is really great, thank you so much for the amazing content ! I like all your videos about places of accommodation in Japan (ryokan, love hotels, special places like the yurt place) and they give me great input for future trips to Japan. Thank you so much for the wonderful work and so many amazing videos.
Yes, another video from you, how wonderful ! I love your channel and I think I have watched all your videos. I like the ones about ryokans most, but I also enjoy the videos about love hotels and other special accommodations a lot. The only videos which I personally dont enjoy, are the ones about animal cafes, as I love animals, and I dont think that those places are treating animals the way they should be treaten.
If you consider the historical fact that Dutch merchants were the first Westerners to enter Japan in the past, it's probably a traditional Japanese dish originating from said past.
A free NOH performance? I would visit that for sure! I put this ryokan onto my list of places to visit. Wow, that Tanka Zen breakfast... O_o Everything looks so delicious!
Thanks for another wonderful video. It's rare to see a lone sparrow, and I don't think I could tank the "tanka zen", too much good food. And I'm glad for the Nobel prize japanese won.
That Zaiho room meant to be a "hideaway"...that one reminds me of that one area you find in Ghost of Tsushima where you have to find a new place to reside after you are branded a traitor by the shogun and even your own uncle when you choose the path of the Ghost. It too was a hidden area with a residence.
As a tattooed person, the private baths in the rooms are ideal, they all look amazing ❤ I wonder if there are vegetarian options for the meals at these inns? 😅 or if I could bring my own food?
Really beautiful room and the whole place was quite and tranquil really lovely people as well, the food was a no for me they could do better but it seems a lot of money for what you get bit it was still very beautiful
Thank you for showing us the festival-themed food, too. Was the chestnut rice made with sweet chestnuts (Castanea sativa) or horse chestnuts (Aesculus hippocastanum)? As I understand, both were foraged and eaten in historical Japan, even though the latter are only used for ornamental trees in Europe.
The chestnut rice was made with sweet chestnuts (Castanea sativa), which are the ones commonly used in Japanese cuisine. Horse chestnuts (Aesculus hippocastanum) are not typically eaten in Japan. Thank you for watching🥰
Hello, thank you for the video. Is it possible to request special meals such as vegetarian or vegan? Not necessarily only at this ryokan, but generally speaking, in any other ryokan as well?

As a Star Wars fan, I liked how A New Hope was playing on your room TV :)

Japan….it seems to strike a balance between modernity and cultures…An amazing Nationality 😘
I love the length of the video. It really gives me fulfilling experience of the ryokan
What a beautiful ryokan! thank you for taking us to this wonderful place!🥰💖
Delicious food as always and such beautiful plating.
I say how much better can it be in each of your videos, but the next one you show a more perfect place. I was fascinated👌

Can you do more unique love hotels? They fascinate me
As a Dutch, I am very curious what was Dutch about the aubergine and herring 😅
❤as always, lovely video. Cannot wait for a visit to Japan.

@@erzsebetkovacs2527 so it would not be something that present day Dutch people would recognise?
A free NOH performance? I would visit that for sure! I put this ryokan onto my list of places to visit. Wow, that Tanka Zen breakfast... O_o Everything looks so delicious!
Beautiful. I would have liked to have seen the gift shop. I wish I could stay there. Greetings from Canada.

After watching Shogun, this video is the closest I've seen that will give you a glimpse of that experience.
At $700.00 per night this is wonderful. Depending on the room type of course. Thanks for posting.
