Trottie, brother, will you please do a video showing your yardages for each club in your bag. I'm sure there's many of us lads out there that would greatly appreciate it. Nothing but respect for you, your knowledge of the game, and your passion for people's personal progress. Thank you, sir.
Yup, looking forward to getting my brand new 56° MG4. Can't wait to get my hands on one. Fell in love with the MG2 60 the day i picked her up. Convinced me to swing the MG3 for my 52. Love it.
As I've gotten older, that warm up is becoming more and more important. More swings to get loose and feel the club. Love this video seeing your process.
Wow, so simple but a great vlog for me personally! Way over think each shot, rather than playing within my skill set and honing what I know I am good at! Being calm on course such a great bonus for me, also adds purpose to practice sessions so I can do it naturally on course
Quality content Trottie, gonna try the random aiming at my next range session warm up. Been using a similar metronome system for my putting but counting, 1 look at target, 2 look at ball, 3 back swing, and 4 contact. This along with plumb bobbing has improved my putting immensely. Will give the metronome a go on my indoor putting mat, it feels like it keeps the swing more uniform and repeatable.
Got to love the way you kept the trackman turned off. You went by rhythm, feel, & flow. You weren't afraid to move and paid attention to turf interaction. In my opinion, this is how you swing. You could feel 2* open for a fade and 2* closed for a draw. You didn't need to create an entirely different swing to change ball shapes.
Just got back from final open qualifying at west lancs..great the way they controlled their ball flight in the wind with simple knock down shots (almost finishing like tommy fleetwood style).. would make a great pre-open video
Absolutely love your content. The combination of someone who can play the game, explain things clearly and have the expertise you have in club fitting is totally unique.
Trottie , thank you very much. That’s the routine a player has to go through. But on top you give lots of valuable advice. Great video. Keep cracking. AL 🇩🇪
I play golf almost every day and play tournaments weekly. The first thing I do when I get to the course is hit some chips. Some days my eyes and hands just don't line up and it takes a little bit to get them connected. But I know if I hit enough chips I'll feel "warmed up" and ready to go to the range. Everyone is different but finding your own routine that makes you ready for the course will pay dividends.
Your comment about how tiger was warming up is exactly how I start my warm up, little stretching and then no glove go into small chips single handed and then with both just feeling the ground and getting movement going
Do you have an opinion on swing weights? I'm 6'5" and play D5. However, I feel like I'm having to work just to get the club fully set. Would D4 be any different?
@@trottiegolf Thanks - Ive been considering a quad vs trackman and just bought the kit to try it out. Seems like you are sticking with Trackman for everyday use?
Make sure you're on a premium ball first. Compare normalized to what's actually happening. Work on your yardages, do wedges for the majority of your time. Check your path and face angle, see if you can move both and find neutral. Work on angle of attack with driver & see if you can hit that club in a way to optimize launch and spin Have fun with your ball speed numbers ..... Maybe I should do a vid on this 🤣😂
@@trottiegolf you definitely should mate, more and more people have access to these technologies now. Anyway, I'll take your advice on board when I use it. It's indoors though so I won't be able to see the true flight unfortunately. But everything else I can do.
@@trottiegolf nice where did u set the metronome ? I think 75-76 is tour average. Obviously I think finding your tempo and setting it there to kinda live by is prob the best method I was just curious.
@@jwild5360 76 BPM - it's time in motion, set based on length of club and gravitational pull. Trust me, I've spent too many hours talking about this, albeit off camera...... for now 🤔

Thanks Chris for the great recommendations for warming up at the range prior to the round. Keep up the great work ! Brandon

TrackMan / launch monitors are awesome for checking and confirming your deal BUT we can't become reliant on them.
Good observation 👍

Best video you have EVER done 👏👏👏 Congrats

Your audio and visual production is great. So many golf content channels don’t do well with this.
Always working on that. Cheers Andy
Good 🧅’s Trott 💪🏼
Damn that’s a great idea using the metronome. Def using that

Class trottie, what do you play off? You've a great swing 👍👍
Used to play a lot & got on fringes of some good tours. Now once a week tops and move between +2 and SCR

DO NOT SLEEP ON SWING WEIGHTS
Mid-season I'm feeling pretty dialed. Probably need new clubs, but can't afford it 😅
What a beaut you are!
A gift from the 🧅 Gods
For the 3 wood you say 'ball back' but it's just inside your left heel! Is that where you recommend most people to put the ball for 3w?
All depends on ball flight you're after, I think that was a feeling I was going for to hit a lower draw ball flight.
I see a full swing kit. What’s your thoughts on it?
Just gave it a run. Liked it, thought it offered consistent numbers.
We'll see as time goes on if I dive back in there again
