And I love this theme. Makes me cry for him everytime. Thanks for posting...the others are somehow gone or deleted. This is the legit theme man!

For me leathel weapon 2 is one of the best movies of all time, and of course the best one from the series . Why ? 1. Joe pesci, mel gibson and danny glover in their prime . 2. Its a sad movie with a lot of good people who died . 3. Its so funny .. 4. The great soundtrack . "Youre not dead until i tell you - you got that riggs ? "
And also was an Anti-Supremacist propaganda movie, without appealing to parties. Was like WW2, the people from different origins vs the nazis (in this case, Apartheidians)
Got the news today that an old friend from high school passed away. We lost touch for a while. He was only 30 and a father of two. I started playing this song in my car while crying. R.I.P. Phil, I wish I reached out sooner.
This movie and this great soundtrack brings so much memories from my childhood. I remember the first time I saw leathel weapon 2, I was 14 years old and it took me 1 hour to fall in love with Riggs, Merto and Leo. This movie is a rare combination of comedy, action, sadness and strong emotions. I miss the glory days when movies and also the music was full of emotions. It will never be the same .

The first time I saw this scene with Arjen Rudd's death, I thought this was the end of the road for Martin. Damn ... This song did give depth to this near-final encounter between Martin and Murtaugh
I've always liked this version and I replayed it in my mind when I saw my mother lying on the table after I went to identify her in the morgue after her car accident....

Personally, either movie ending would've been good. It's one thing to scrap an ending because it doesn't fit, but Riggs dying would've been appropriate for the movie. He not only finds out his wife's death wasn't an accident, but he's given the opportunity to avenge her and does.

I honestly thought Riggs was dying when I first heard this..... Then as soon as Cheer Down kicks in I always smile and cry
He was supposed to die but the test Audience Mel Gibson and Richard Donner hated it and fought to keep Riggs alive
This song inspired Martin Riggs to put his inner demons to rest.
Just brilliant, i felt so emotional when i heard this, especially hearing an emergency service in the back ground siren. Brilliant film too.
