By the way, it’s great seeing you wear a full face helmet, my 11-year-old son looks up to you, he does wear a full face helmet, and he was really excited watching this video and seeing you wear one as well, thank you for influencing young riders so positively
Always blows my mind how closely you follow people, especially Alex, you obviously trust his skills immensely, I can never follow people as closely as you do
I fully understand there's lots of people that enjoy the challenge and technical difficulty of skinny stuff. But who in the hell wants to do that 10-15 feet off the ground? Those old skinnys you passed were crazy!
I moved to Castlegar in late 2008 and there wasn't much riding...but there was the Awakener! I loved this trail and the hits were proper! The defunct high skinny section was always terrifying. So great to see this trail again. I have to go back for a rip on this one. Grandeflorium (in the same area) and the "newly" built up Merry Creek area!
If you hit Vernon, try the new black trail in Kal Park (Super Connector). It has a massive slab for a feature. Then you can loop back and ride Blue King Down (working title). It has a bunch of log rides, drops and jumps. Tres Fun :)
Yeah Remy and Alex i’ll keep this one short because the video said everything But when Remi mentioned those old-school features an shredding those wooden. jumps I just had visions of Super T Romanick Simmons digger dangerous Dan shredding oh the good old days of free ride truly missed
Great Vid! Really Cool to see your riding on one of my go to trails close to home. If youre ever back and want to find the burlier stuff in the area, give me a shout!
Well...I think I could ride everything before your first break maybe, but after my AC separation, I don't think I will ever do gaps unless they are very tiny...Not worth it at my age.
@@remymetailler Doctor says it will never be quite 100% in its ability to lift alot of weight consistently due to its lessened support in the area (without expensive surgery that is) but it can get very close which is really all I care about not being much of a power lifter myself 😋 To me its more about it not being worth the risk of getting bucked or coming up short, the recovery time of the injury, and the cost when I have a family to worry about. Have you had an AC separation before out of curiosity? Mine is type 3 and I'm a little over 2 months out from it.
I enjoy your vids more when you leading and the path is clear for the viewer, it feels more immersive and kind of zen, especially when you talk through it. I don't watch your videos to watch someone rear end block a trail. Its often fun when you mix in great riders in front of you, but thi9s is too much.

20km newly built flow trail with 1,300m of decent.
"If there were not closed I totally do them on my rear wheel" 🤣

I love your videos keep going 🎉
16 seconds from releasing 🤙
Man looking at you two going in the track through the trees, i would have crashed in at least 10 of them in the first 100meters xD
Is the Tyee , the bike used on the video?
Mullet, or full 29er?
No I did use the Spindrift.
The Dream!
What gloves do you wearing. They seem very ventilated.
Rode the Awakener last year. It would be absolutely epic with a modern rebuild. It’s got good bones but some of it is jank for no good reason.
Top comme d'habitude
Merci

An AC separation can come back at 100% with lots of gym!
