Billy you have to start teaching Tommy how stuff works, he should understand why you have a Deep Pan by now, I know he's always taping but it will make him a better Driver knowing how everything works, he should be watching you on the Computer too, not Hatting Luv you guys.

I agree 100%
Chief is becoming the street racing equivalent of a community college professor. I dig it
ABSOLUTELY....
Yes sir I agree!!!!
He needs to start a new career with this, charging a tuition fee for the knowledge!
Professor chief..... I'm on board! He hates discovery producers. Ruined what he created, so there has to be a morning after.... Lol, a south park reference!
Dude he's a professor of how to make a car as fast as it can go . The crow recorded the fastest time ever it was3. 77 in the eighth mile fact. Just saying that kid would could beat Ryan martin
I’ve tried to explain this many times about the frequency and that “30%” don’t mean shit. The bigger the solenoids are the harder it is to cut power back. Which is why I like to use a small plate with small solenoids on something on the street on small tires. Tommy’s S-10 would leave on a small plate, then turn the fogger on 1.5 into the run or so and progress it in over a second. You’re killing this UA-cam deal guys. Fantastic job!
thanks bill 🙏🏼
Who knew that THIS was the show we always wanted! Thanks for putting the content out. It is appreciated and enjoyed. Looks like there are many others who feel the same.
Mate, I'm really enjoying what you're doing here. Showing us the technical side, the set up and data is what's missing from most channels. It's great that you're sharing it all with us.
thank you!!
Very cool! I never liked drag racing until i learned more about how everything works. I would love a technical break down of the Crow!
@@MidwestStreetCarsAuto people complaining or saying you change to much at 1 time have no idea in the world on your in depth knowledge of bar changes and what it will do and that will respond to your changes and you knew from the way that mofo banged the Rev limiter with her foot slam off the go pedal!!! And it hung there 200 hundred shot times 1500 shot at .25 second after 200 shot is the way that piece became mister nasty like that!! But what I'm saying during process of illumination you if wasn't quite sure the problem may be you would do 1 change at a time and try it but with what you know and in depth knowledge of what you know you can illuminate full stock suspension out a car 4 link it and all and go out with soft motor tune and the mug was almost going straight every street pass from just cutting front and rear off and rebuilding everything from scratch and had it that close just buy what you know about bar placement and shock setting you went to your starting point for what you would think that she would bite and track straight and fine tune it from there and I thought you nailed it out the box other small tweaks to fine tine what this car is going to like and thank you for explaining the stuff that you do cause I love learning and knowing exactly how all that works and I can set bars on 4 link and adjust bars in center and know my losen or tighten shock adjustment on dirt racing but it's different on skreet cars and I just love learning in depth and knowing exactly how things work like that. So hell yes love the learning and watching you two get this lil mister nasty dialed in cause it's a looking like this piece is going run some numbers just from what it's showing on the bare minimum setting other then that shot that could had put Elon next rocket into space!!! Congrats ol boy and I love seeing caddy Jack coming out for miss Jackie to make alot of people butthurt when they get ass busted cause it's a coming and going to be epic to watch!! You two keep up great work and building epic stuff and making a forever stronger bond in your relationship on building and doing what you both love and are passionate about!!! God bless and keep up the great turtuials and breakdowns on how everything works. 👊✌️
I enjoy seeing the good amd the bad hits. The how’s the why’s We fixed it or oh shhhhhhhhheeeeeet we broke it
Yes. Very cool thanks bro 😎 for sharing with us
These racing/tech videos are great.......great too see what makes it all happen.....Cheif explaining stuff really well....and editing is spot on...tying together multiple camera views....nice job Jackie...
thank you!!
@Midwest Street Cars you guys are killing it with your UA-cam channel. Love watching you too having fun with what you love doing. Not the tv bullshit!!
@MidwestStreetCarsAuto you are the reason I loved street outlaws!!!❤❤❤❤
Great vid. really enjoy learning from chieif and Jackie is a pro. she killn it
Tommy, that sounds like a call out! You know you’ve made it when big Chief is picking at you. I’d like to see that race for fun. And man, these technical videos are loaded with a lot of good info. Chief and Jackie, y’all keep on doing what you’re doing. These videos are great!
Man isn't it crazy how caddy Jack and Jacci make 5.35-5.49 look completely effortless, like that car is not even working hard yet, going to be hurting serious feelings this season...SO MUCH potential lol
Yep, that’s a 4.80 car easy. Hopefully quicker.
From a lifelong drag racer that’s raced from street cars all the way to TAD, your sharing of information is badass. I’ve been having issues with the nitrous system on one of our race cars, and you’ve given me ideas to look into. Love the information. Keep it coming.
I think Miss Jackie is gonna get herself some Astronaut Wings if she keeps leaving the pad like a rocket! Also really like the couple of shots with Big Chief holding the camera and lining Jackie up. It’s really cool to see that a little closer than normal. Especially since I’ve never actually been able to see that in person this is almost as good😉 Really enjoyed another awesome video from you two. Please keep it coming and thanks again for the extra work it takes on your part to get this to us.
thank you for the kind words!
Straight up Chief! Really appreciate it!
I always learn something from Chief. I now know what hertz means! Those technical breakdowns are something else! Caddy's definitely coming along. Can't wait to see it hit the 4's!! I have zero doubt it will!!
That cat rampaging around the shop in the background is hilarious. 😆
thanks!
Thanks bro me to!
We need more episodes like this chief on what to look out for data wise . I love it .. The fact he calls out tommy from SRC at the end is golden 😂😂
It’s easier to start the routine now than later, Keep pulling the chutes Jackie 💪🏾
I cant even tell you guys how much i am enjoying the videos you guys are sharing about this whole caddyjack experience. Taking the time to explain what you are doing in detail and showing us the data you are using is amazing to me. I ran my first street race in 1986 and have built race cars as a profession in my past. These videos are awesome to me.
Thank you both for sharing with us.
thank yoU! it means alot
Actually I think it's gonna be pretty interesting to see what happens when SRC and Midwest Street Cars line up together.... Will definitely be an awesome race..
The 🐐 of the racing scene hands down. Most people don’t wanna give advice and like keeping everything a secret. Chief “Hold my beer, I got y’all” 🤘🏼 Appreciate y’all. Keep making bangers.
Giving Tommy hell, hey y'all are doing great, it's almost there, like you said chief slow and small changes, it's going to rip
People criticizing Jackie pulling the parachute have no clue what they're talking about! That's your LIFELINE!!!!! 🤦♂️
Love the information that Chief provides, explains it super well ! Great job guys ❤
thanks!
As a guy who is building his own car in my own garage. Teaching myself every step of the way. With the hopes of making future successful passes dahn the street and track; this shit is amazing. I am also stoked about the Patreon content. Thanks Jackie and Justin!
Oh hell yeah.. 41 min of racecar knowledge, and dad jokes lol glad you been posting so much on this progress with caddy Jack and jacci racing it..the whole process is cool to watch
thank yoU!
@@justinshearer3016 thank you
Big Chief, thanks for supporting and appreciating Jackie and Caddy Jack, you'll be a happier individual with a happy women! She has done so much for you over the years and stuck with you when your life fell apart. She's stood with you through the rough times when others have walked away. Treasure what you have Big Chief and don't let that ego get out of hand. Take some advice from an old man, treasure the blessings that you have for a more peaceful life. Take care Big Chief!
Glad you guys are back doing race car. Love all the knowledge you share which really allows you guys to really shine and shows us WHY you were always number one or right there racing for number one. Chief I truly believe you could turn anyone’s program into a number 1 contender. Thanks again !
Love the videos guys!
Also, pulling the shoots every time makes muscle memory. She'll always know where it is and she'll always pull it even if she doesn't need it. Not to mention that shoot moves the center of gravity back after you back out of the throttle and allows the car to sit on the total suspension.
One thing I did notice is she's not closing her visor and with a nitrous motor please close the visor.
@Chris_Bray I been saying that for then last few episodes, but apparently she ain't hearing it, until she cops a face full of fire, she'll wish she had heard it the first time I said it.
Hey Chief and Jackie, I’m really enjoying these new videos, you telling us all the technical stuff about how your setting up the car, I love how you go in to so much detail about how your spraying the nitrous, and the gear set your running, the car is so much better now aswell, can’t wait until Thursday guys keep up the great work
thank you!
Great recaps, this format really shows off Chief’s ability to teach and explain what y’all are doing and being able to make sense of why each run improves. Let’s see what Caddy Jack can do, would be nice to see a race with Billy and Tommy down the road.
130mph is a awesome start . She's coming together. Love the content. Was just teasing about the tire pressure. Nice explanation.
I've said it before and I will say it again, we aren't here for TV show Big Chief, we are here for the real deal Chief and we follow you for the small glimpses of you wisdom. It is great how you both work together to break this information down in a manner that we can all understand it. Much appreciation for you both!! You do you and the real fans will be here with you.
Tech time with Chief and Jackie.. Thanks for schoolin us.
Chief bustin up on Tommy dry fire and the Falcon is golden.
Every time Chief says bye I think of Curly Bill from the movie American Outlaws...lol
I'm not gonna lie. I miss you two on Street Outlaws, but you guys are putting out some awesome content on here. Keep up the good work!
Too much purple, just needed to take some purple out of it 👌
Hey, I love the progress. Chief, I love how you explain stuff. I love my CTS coupe. You all are inspiring me to want to build one myself, instead of just buying a V. Keep it up! Love seeing you all doing this. BTW, Chief, your beard is on point. I am jealous, lol. Have a great one!
Man I can't get enough of this stuff love jackie chief and the fuzz butts. Love learning from Justin. Jackie is killing it love da skills. Much love from idaho guys stay safe out there.
thanks!!
I love we get the real chief in these vids and so much more information than we ever got on the show! I love it! Keep doing you brother you 2 are killing it! 👍
Great Video!!!
Really like the in depth explanation of things. I have always been hesitant about nitrous as a power adder because I don't know how to control it. Great job, and thanks for sharing the knowledge.
thank you!
And here I always used to think I loved to go fast, but Chief really likes to go fast! Wish I had the ability to do so much more with my car than I I can!!! Financially and mechanically!!! Great stuff guy's, keep em coming!!!
Nice job you guys.
Can’t wait to see you out competing in the finals.
Thank you bringing us along for the ride.
Keep up the hard work looks like you’re headed in the right direction.
Missing Mr Crow hope to see him out hurting feelings some day soon.
Gonna stretch that Galaxie 500 out 🤣
Young Thomas getting whacked 🤣🤣🤣
Holy fuck yes it is Tuesday. Great way to start the day. Thank you guys.
We have had a car 150 degrees rotated into a spin at Bonneville at 175mph and the chute pulled it straight. The shit is reeealll maaan 😂
Damn, I hope he had on brown pants
Chutes have saved my *SS more than once and once you know how to pack them it doesn’t take but a few minutes to pack them. Besides I gave up hot lapping my car well over going on three decades ago (yeah I’m an old Flucker but still love racing) That all said you need time to let the car cool down, for the driver (me) to cool down, check the car, fuel the car, review/analyze the data and make tuning changes along with whatever other service is needed between rounds. The long and the short of it the 10 to 15 minutes it takes to fold and stuff the laundry if I am doing it by myself (I always pack my own chutes so I no one to blame but myself if it doesn’t open like it should) is trivial and hitting the wall is never trivial to the wallet.
Iloveyou too caddyJack and jackie be very careful jackie and bigchief and caddyJack
These videos are so much better than any tv show.
Loving the in detail explanations Chief and obviously the detailed drawings Jackie lol. I do believe Mr.Jack on both kits is more than Tommy and the Falcon want but we would all love to see that race.
Love the video and really appreciate you guys bringing us along for the ride on everything you guys do. I have raced Prostock, top fuel motorcycles and Prostock race cars most of my life and I can't tell you how many times the chutes have saved me. Alls it takes is the slightest bit of wiggle, fluid on the track, brake failure or millions of anything else and its over so I would much rather repack a chute than destroy my bike, car, myself, or Heaven forbid injure someone else because I didn't just pull the chute. My Motto is the use your safety equipment every single run no matter what because the moment you don't have it or don't use it that's when the bad things happen. As always Thank you, everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE 😃 😊
exaaaactly!!!
@Justin Shearer can't tell you how much I appreciate you guys sharing soo much of your process, I applaud and respect you for keeping it real ass OG STREET...... 👏
Hear that Tommy? Jackie's coming for ya!😂😂😂
Well done jackie and justin. Thanks for these videos it teaches us alot about the inside of drag racing.
we trying!
Chief, 50% at 7Hz or 14Hz should be exactly the same amount of purple. However, some solenoids cannot properly actuate at an incorrect frequency. Solenoids are mechanical, and have to move a mass. If that mass cannot physically move that quickly, problems arise.
At 35Hz, the solenoid could not change state, therefore it was actually 100% not 30% duty cycle like you commanded. Nice job finding & correcting!
Great video Chief,Very knowledgeable and informative. I love your confidence, keep it up my brother. Thank you for sharing.
Hi just wanted to help you out with your understanding of frequency etc. You are almost correct. Each cycle includes both on and off time. The number of cycles per second is the frequency. The duty cycle is the percentage of ON time each cycle.
Example. A 10Htz 30% duty cycle. Would mean a 100ms cycle rate. 30ms on time every cycle. Or if you like, 10 x 30ms of spray every second.
At 35Htz, 30% duty cycle, you would have had a cycle time of 28ms. And an on time of 8.5ms.
Something to consider when operating at higher frequency is the speed at which the NOS solenoid can operate. If it can only operate at say 50ms cycles and you are feeding it 38ms pulses it would effectively be 100% operating. The value wouldn't have had time to close before it was being pulsed open again.
Hope this helps.
We learn more every time. Love the way you are going after it. It’s whatever works for you 👍
Justin great commentary on the on the parachute I have a video of 68 mustang at Bonneville going 215 .it got loose the chute came out and save the car.great videos.
Been a long time coming honestly speaking 🐐🏅 and one thing chief taught all of is slow progress is better than none at all.
always forward!
If anyone wants to see a perfect example of muscle memory go watch Cleetus’ first ever 6 second pass when he was in Tom Baileys original Sick seconds Camaro. You see him in the seat practicing pulling the chute… Only thing is they failed and he had to stop that beast with just the brakes and was able to lol
Chief and JACKIE taking steps great to see it making some passes. Be in npk next great work 🚘👑🚦
Loving every minute of these. Getting to see Jackie with the win in a little is gonna be even better. Stay safe
My wife walked into the room and asked me if something was wrong with my glasses?
I asked why would you ask that, and she's like, "Well, you're squinting so bad." Wtf. I feel like a dumb ass. Thanks Chief. 🥴
Keep up the amazing content! Thank you for all the wisdom!
Sweet! And as for people and their thoughts on when and how the chute should be used, I personally think it should be used often even if you feel it may not be needed. It's best to be safe than sorry, and it's also a good way to help your thoughts and muscle memory stay in practice.
But I have to give Jackie a bit of a hard time about her hand being up there ready to throw the chute for over half the run. lol. I get it, just picking on you. Also, her being able to do that is a good thing, it shows the car was "behaving" perfectly. Congrats on the progress. I really like Caddy Jack. To me, it's an awesome-looking car.
Thanks for explained things the way you do big Chief. Keep up the great teaching it really makes people see the whole picture of racing. Much appreciated ✌️😎👍
thanks!
Hey Cheif long time fan here. I couldn't help noticing from the videos that the golf cart is running sub 5s passes pushing ol caddy jack back. Can't wait for you to show us what's under that things hood.
You and Shawn are the only ones I see who teach and show the technical side of racing! I’m taking notes
Awesome content...! Cant wait fur next one! Great run down cheif, nice driving
Jackie B.😜
Glad to see she has gotten the location of the chute lever by feel. And you are showing the knowledge you have, by doing everything at once like you do, off of the data. Y'all keep rock and we are all ready for Thursday.
This is what I liked from the "show" when Chief was race master and tuning he did not elaborate as much but kept it quick and simple on the "show. "
The bread crumb analagy had be busting up....
Very nice, that thing is gonna be a monster in the streets in these small tire races. So excited to see what this race season holds for you guys. You all are killing it
Like how Jacki drives most of track with 1 hand on steering wheel & 1 on chute lever. Will youz be racing it in competition.
Making progress and chief your skills are like no other man !! You know whatbyiur doin better than most if not the best imo . Love the videos keep grinding!❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
thanks mike!
This is absolutely the best Racing content on UA-cam In depth technical And fucking real! bad ass!
Learnt me something !! Jackie is driving the hell out of that car! Love the ol john force tire smokems
If I had chief as my shop teacher I would know a hell of a lot more than I do now, this guy is soooo damn smart. I enjoy all of their videos and he can figure anything out.
"Hey you want a Hertz Donut?"
*punches arm*
"Hurts don't it?"
I'll see myself out... 🍻
I don’t understand? You have to many players on offense and not enough on defense and no back field! Use X’s and O’s next time..
When you get Caddyjack dialed. It’s going to be a monster!
Fucking love this style video. Fucking with Tommy at the end lmao 🤣
Big solenoids, small jets and 30 percent in the controller equals ON.
Do I get a certificate of graduation from Big Chief for watching all these lessons? 😂 Best shit on you tube
“That Hopscotch boy that faked the knee injury in the galaxy 500”……..I’m dead lol!
I still believe chief is the best damn driver out there. Jackie you are one badass chick who I think is going to dominate just like chief. I can't wait to see you guys during racing season.
Yall are pretty bad ass but I don't think you can touch Mr hopscotch and his falcon 🤣🤣
You have over 20 years cooking in this kitchen i think that you can tell when your recipe is off and how to fix it..
A chute is a air borne rudder as I've been told. Great explanation of why if nothing else it makes muscle memory.
I really miss seeing you on TV. I hope you guys can all work together in the near future.
I said it before and ill say it again, Chief and Jackie would be a great addition to Sick Week. Plus we’d get to see some 1/4 full pulls 😉 i know its a long shot but a man can dream. Right? Lol
I really hope I'm not the only one that noticed you having a jab at tommy lol.
they love to pick on each other lol
@@MidwestStreetCarsAuto that was one of the funniest pokes I've ever seen. Probably because I actually knew who it was aimed at. I'm a huge fan of there channel's as well as this one.
Plus she needs to be in the habit of pulling it. It just needs to be part of her routine. That is her running her race.
Man you hit every nursery story accept the one it was hahah. Keep swingin till you connect lol
The galaxy 500 🤣🤣 Sounds like Tommy and Chief better lock something in
I do quite a bit of Extreme Overclocking (XOC) of PC components (basically drag racing PC parts) and PWM (also the switching frequency of the voltage regulation) can be a key component to a tune!
Man the show ain't street outlaws without you.
Somone telling you how to tune a race car makes me lmao😁Pickin on Tommy....what is the race seen coming to?🤣
LMAO that kid with his fake knee injury and his ranchero
Wallpaper 28:17 😎
Damn I'm learning nitrous......👍🏁
Good info guys thanks
I need more purple
And keep pulling that parachute muscle memory is real. When you need them you don't want to be reaching stressed
Love the progress, happy for you both!
😎 The Caddy Jack is just plain bad !!
I meant to say not afraid lol
That jab at Tommy was money! 😂 Tommy don’t tell me you are faking that kneee?!! 😂 well done!
Squirrel 👀 nevermind it's just a cat 🐈
pulling the chute pulls the car straight in much the same way as manually applying trailer brakes works to stopping sway
