Vietnam and Thailand best for food for those who are vegetarian people but if you're not vegetarian maybe Philippines but both country doesn't have to compare because it has their own unique and culture no need for comparison just stay which country you prefer
Yes I agree.. well I love both countries.. this is an opinion video for people who want to travel here someday.. I found these videos helpful for me before I came
The Philippines is multi-cultured country for it is composed of 7,100 is more or less. Composed different dialects the reason why ordinary locals can not be intimate because they do not understand each other.
Philippines is for the adventurous people. Its like the Amazon separated in Islands. Vietnam on the other hand has the very healthiest delicious cuisine in Asia with beautiful nature. Unfortunately, traveling in Vietnam is difficult due to language barrier, living there long term would be difficult, whereas in the Philippines as expats you will have a very little adjustment as everything is westernized.
For sure you want, I heard what a Filipino with a bachelor teaching degree earns not more than 800$ a month while I have a friend in Vietnam no degrees, just some toefl or TESOL and earns easily 1500-2000$ a month lol.
Not gon lie, Vietnam is more attractive for tourism because they offer better service, also the infastructure is alot better, the streets and buildings are well kept, and the food are cheaper and better quality. What I mean by this is some of the street food you’ll find looks like a five star restaurant dish.
@@paulnicolaparua300 I mean, if comparing to Metro Manila. The architecture is definitely looks more modern and advance than the rest of Vietnam. But if we compare other part of the Philippines other than Manila. Yeah! They ain’t beating Vietnam. Maybe better beaches, but scenery or architecture. Ain’t beating our big mountains and giant architects.
It’s changing, with Build Build Build And Build Better More.. more construction of transportation/roads are being build its, changing. It is still a challenge for having more than 7651 islands. But if you love beach, and not to worry about communication. This is a place to be. Maybe I’m very partial because I’m a FilAm. Did I say, we have more foreign students in the Philippines enrolled in Medicine, Nursing, Maritime and of course very affordable tuition to learn English.
I stayed in Dat Do for 3weeks. I’m a Pinoy and i found Vietnam better than Philippines. Only language is hard but i have a local who can speak better English than me. 😂
if you ask people in vietnam of course they liked vietnam because you both in vietnam right now... same as you asked people in the philippines when you are there... both countries are nice as to any other countries in the world. No accurate metrix for that question, it will only offend countries one way or another.. its better to ask only to yourself on that.. or ask them privately by not filming their opinions... 😊
No need to compare totally different country in terms of culture, belief, language, food etc etc. Wherever you feel comfortable, happy and contended, then that's where you live long term. It's individuals prerogatives. Just be happy and enjoy life.
Yea of course I agree.. some people are more comfortable in Vietnam and some are more comfortable in Philippines... this is for those looking into both countries
just got home from HCMC the only bad thing i dont want to point is how bad the touristy market like ben than market. the seller there have bad temper. if you ask for an item they will hold your hand so that you dont go to the next store, very desperate to sell and if you dont buy they will throw a tantrum right in front of your face. most of the seller there. and because they dont speak english you dont know maybe they already cursing you because you wasted their time entertaining you. and the price is really bad they will openly rip you off. so do a research first on the price, the bad thing is if you ask for the price they will not going to let you go unless you buy something from them then even if you haggle so much you will find that the price is still over the chart. like its better to buy from a shop like the war museum relatively cheaper than the ben than market.
Yes thanks for the info Ginn but I will say all major tourist markets are like that around the world.. they are in a tough sales job... but I agree it does get annoying going through there.. I never go haha
@@aaronaround i just realized this before leaving HCMC , if you're going on a foreign country go to a supermarket/grocery store first where every item has a price (SRP) indicated so you get an idea of the pricing on the local level. heck even 7/11 or any convenience store is a good way to start. grocery store wont rip you off.
PHILIPPINES Is unbeatable for its spectacular thousands of islands, beaches and crystal clear water. also Philippines has utra modern CBDs like MAKATI and BGC.
Vietnam has a spectacular caves and biggest cave in the world,.and they have high mountain than philippines. And vietnam has the largest waterfalls in asia.. saigon is a province not capital but changing so fast, and saigon has a bitexco tower and landmark81 can beat all the building in metro manila😂
Philippines is behind across the board other Asian nations. Transportation is terrible, barely having a decent one. City transport is terrible, 30 years behind. Comment from a Filipino who have travelled constantly.
I'm Filipino and I'm proud of our country but every country has something to offer and there's always gonna be something superior about that country over another and people have preferences depending on their needs and wants. we shouldn't put down other countries to uplift our own. there will always be pros and cons. to each his own. what we need to do in Asia is unite so we can attract more tourism in our region because most tourists, when they visit Asia, they would love to go around different Asian countries and that may mean visiting both PH and Vietnam. there's no need to fight over this because what one needs to do is to compete with itself by being its better or best version compared to its previous one.
I do not like comparison vlogs. Its calling for attention... bad kind of attention. That is why respondents say equally good. or both have good and bad sides. I usually leave the building... I left.
no no it is not intended for that... it is a question... of course the title is a little click baity but that is to stir up thought.. there is no right or wrong answer some people prefer PH some prefer VN... not a bad thing
I chose Vietnam 10x fold over Philippines, you do not know how beautiful Vietnam is including its people, so humble and definitely peaceful than PH, cost of living is absolutely amazing.

I do concur that, like Thailand, Vietnam is in desperate need of English teachers, particularly from Western English-speaking nations. The bulk of the NES takes advantage of this situation without realizing that teaching is, in and of itself, a calling and a vocation. Teaching is not a way to solve your money problems or a chance that you will take even if you don't know how to teach. This is what I typically see in Westerners NES or NNES, using their physical attributes of having white skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes, but they are merely using the school to earn money for travel. Although not all, sorry for saying this. Many Westerners, including NES, are taking advantage of the opportunity to work as teachers in Southeast Asia for pay. The issue is how much they make or the school will have to pay them, and once they have enough money saved, they will leave and travel again. That is not how education operates, which is why Vietnam and Thailand continue to have the lowest levels of English proficiency. Either there is a yearly change in English teachers, or the English teacher is incompetent in terms of how to teach and carry out the lesson in a way that will enable the students to learn. Thailand and Vietnam are attractive countries for Western visitors, especially for NES who are in severe need of more money to support their ambition to travel after teaching. I commend the Westerners and NES for their compassion and concern for the education of my fellow Southeast Asians like the Vietnamese and Thai students, for their efforts to help the children learn at least some basic English. Just my two cents!
did you change your picture to the same as the other woman's in the comments? I hear where you are coming from there is a major demand here for English and of course there are varying levels of talents that teaches here but I assure you they get placed accordingly. There is a massive demand for high level teachers here and they recruit them and they come here.
Aside from Filipinos get hired as Nurses, accountants, seaferrers, globally, Filipinos also get hired as English teachers specially in Asian Countries.
We’re from the Philippines But now in Germany If we have to decide it will b Vietnam now because it’s cheaper Flights cheaper AND we have two small kids the Philippines Trend to b more chaotic (delays government etc ) so all in all we prefer going to Vietnam Still we love our home (Philippines more)
As filipino i agree, philippines is more expenssive than vietnam for a traveler or a backpacker, cuz its an isaland nation you need to take an airplane everytime you want to go to island to island, and manila is very congested, except if you have a lot of budget you can stay at BGC or Makati if you want to live comportably.
I agree Smurf I do not find it offensive at all if someone compared living in US or going on a vacation there compared to another country 😂😂😂... who cares haha

Hi, i think it's matter of personal tourist preference. The fact is Vietnam seems more a popular tourist destination than the Philippines because the tourist number speak for itself prior to COVID Pandemic last 2019: Vietnam-18M, the Philippines-8M. No offense to Pinoys, a tourist will visit a country a way more popular tourist destination than a best tourist destination for some. At least the Philippines is getting commercialized in tourism nowadays✌✌✌
Yea Charles I hear you... if those numbers are accurate I know there is a massive amount of Chinese tourist that come to Vietnam that make up a large percentage of that... but yea interesting stuff.. that's for leaving your comments! 👍🇵🇭🇻🇳
Nah, Vietnam has many tourists because it shares land borders with its neighboring nations, making it easy to travel. For example, if you came and visited China or other places in that part of the region. you can easily go there. While the Philippines is an archipelago isolated from other countries, that is why its tourism is so new to so many people. As the content creator is saying, it has gained so much attention now. Well, it is because of social media that people who visited there share their experiences so now many people have an idea about the Philippines hence it is getting more interest. And the Philippines itself is complicated and expensive to travel to because again it is composed of Islands. Even the locals there only visited a few places in their country. 😂😂
@@JC0820so why not a lot of tourists go to Laos or Cambodia even though they're also mainland SEA countries and are between Thailand and Vietnam? Most international tourists come to Vietnam by air, not land border crossing. Indonesia is also an archipelago country but they have way more tourist arrivals than the Philippines. Stop your bullshit!
As a Filipino I agree, it's sad but it's true! all I can say is that those in charge of our economy (i.e. our government and greedy corporations) suck BIG TIME! with all the head-starts, our govt weren't able to manage the economy properly. our oligarch corporations don't even want to balance investment to introduce FDI, because they're so afraid that they will lose their corrupt wealth. also, please beware of the "peenoise" trolls.. all well-travelled Filipinos like myself will never try to make our country seem better when it's really not. Most of those "Philippines is the best" trolls are either our poor (18% of our population live below the poverty line, and many of them use the internet) who are desperate to make the country look better than it is for "pride" reasons.. or they're honestly teenagers who don't even pay their own bills. In reality we still have a long way to go. According to our government, we can only reach Upper-medium economy status by 2040(!!!). it's good there are some tourists here now and a few expats, but without govt reforms, things will never change here 😂
thanks for the long winded answer. Well I cannot speak on the government but that always seems to be the main reason for the stunted growth. But in another 17 years the PH will reach that economic level is not far away.. I do know it is for PH as well because it is an island nation so it is more difficult to move goods and the transportation system is slower because of it.. We will see ... there is definitely a bright future for the PH's!
Philippines vs foreigners Philippines vs Western women Philippines vs Bali Indonesia Philippines vs Latin America And the list goes on and on and on .... 😂 Leave us alone! LOL
If you want to live in SEA for like half a year, the Philippines is the best option because its people can speak English, and the road sign and stores are mostly in English; It is also the reason why UA-camrs in the Philippines has many viewers because people there love watching English contents. You can easily find local friends out there and some of its culture has been influenced by the Western world. But if you just want to visit and tour, then Vietnam is a great option because it has a more authentic ASEAN culture than the Philippines, your will experience a new life, way different from what you have accustomed to. In the Philippines, you almost feel like you are in the Western world, like in Singapore, and more places in the Philippines are becoming expensive to live, which become the expat's new go-to places to live because they are still way cheaper than the Western price but have better amenities, are safer, and have a better social value.
Yes this is true about the English . This is the main reason in my opinion. Also, like you said there is a major western influence in PH whereas in Vietnam there is much less influence.. which for me is a major bonus, I love that. For context, there are about 5-9 McDonalds locations I have seen in HCMC which is staggering considering this city is around 10 million. I agree with you. Spot on 👍🇵🇭🇻🇳
I don't see Philippines having a Western culture, not that Western culture matters a whole lot for vacationing or even short-term living. Vietnam is much more interesting IMO. There's much more do to and to see in Vietnam, from north to south. Vietnam has a much better variety of landscapes, sceneries, landmark and just , much more places to see. Philippines has some very beautiful beaches and highland, but not much more. The food varieties and coffee in Vietnam are far far better. Except for seafood, the foods in Philippines are not unique at all, and taste like dup versions of other foods, but loaded up with sweetener. I also had a hard time with the trashes around the streets of Manila. Overall, the tourist industry in the Philippines is not as developed as the one in Vietnam, IMO.
@@Marcus_-sy9fithe reason why Vietnam has higher tourists? First china is just a crosss boarder of Vietnam. Travelling is to Vietnam is easier and cheap. 80% of tourist came from china whereas the Philippines is an archipelago country. Travelling in the Philippines is more expensive coz you need to travel by plane. Thailand and Vietnam are just benefiting to china. But revenue wise Philippines is just as same with Thailand revenue. Base on international receipt the Philippines and Thailand has same revenue coz in Thailand higher tourist but less spender. That means most of their tourist are budget tourist while the Philippines tourists are belong to the upper and high income class coz they spend more money.
Super cool video brother. I was born in Honduras raise in NJ and all my life People has confused me for Asian. To make things more interesting my girlfriend is Filipina so I recently had the chance to visit her beautiful country. Manila is a different monster. The city a bit crowed but south Philippines was just like being home super magical. The people are super friendly and beautiful. The atmosphere is super relaxing and calming. I fell in love with nature escaping from the hectic life in the city. Very similar to Vietnam especially the lifestyle and climate.
Philippines is quite cheaper than in Vietnam and also that you can fine the places in Philippines that you can buy the apertment or rent that you can see that if you are knowing to look around in the Philippines and also food so many in provinces that quite cheaper to be honest
I don't agree; there are places in the Philippines that are expensive because they are first-class places like BGC, Makati City, Asiana City, Rockwell, Eastwood, and Fil-Invest Alabang. Even Cebu City and Iloilo City are now hiking their prices. Nuvali in Laguna is also one of the residential places in the country where the price keeps increasing. When the massive infrastructure projects around the metro will be finished it will get even more expensive for sure. I just hope that the government will not allow the foreigner to buy lands or else the price of everything will just explode overnight. 😅
It depends on what kind of traveler you really are. If your the type to really immerse your self with the locals and go to places where there are no tourists then you will find culture and food in the Philippines but if you hang around in the cities or touristy areas then, yes you'll find a Jollibee everywhere. Most vloggers I've watched that don't like the Philippines over other places don't make it past 2-3 months staying there. It's such a vast place and so laid back and slow paced, you will need to be there several months just to really know the country and appreciate it. The Philippines is a great location to set ones roots and use as a base to travel to other parts of Asia without having to leave the western comforts for too long and not to mention getting a Visa is easy and easy to extend. Also, westerners don't have to deal with all the political BS that happens in there home country. My opinion.
Yes I agree with you on all those points... it is a easy place to live... not quiet and nicely located as here in Vietnam for travel but it is close enough haha .. and the favorable visa options is so hard to deny 👍
@@aaronaround I actually wrote a whole other paragraph about the food in the Philippines longer than this one believe it or not but I'm not gonna make any excuses for the PI. The fact is the other Asian countries do have more varieties of food and are more main stream then Filipino food. I can't say however, if that's because a lot of their foods are sort of westernized "with a twist", because you know that's what westerners do. Westerners love to do that with other countries foods compared to what the locals really eat at home. I noticed that here in the states (US) I go to some Filipino "fusion" restaurant and find out about a new way to cook Adobo, or Pancit or even something as straight forward as lumpia and as complicated as Halo Halo. Who knows one day the "fusion" will be seen as "authentic" just like the other countries. Everyone's palate is different. For me I don't like Thai food because there is a certain spice they like to use that doesn't agree with me. It makes my stomach queasy. And the first time I tried Vietnamese Pho I couldn't get used to the cilantro. I mean I love cilantro in Mexican foods but to have it in a soup dish welll...I just thought that if I tasted toilet water that's what it would taste like. Forgive me, no offense really. So sorry. It's just the first thing that came to mind. I absolutely love the other Asian countries foods though. Chinese, Japanese, Korean and so on. but just a few specific types of Thai and Vietnamese food. It's hard to accept for many Filipinos but even they know the truth. All I can say is that I love Filipino food and I can live on Sinagang all day, everyday :) With rice of course lol
@@e.s.5872 If you don’t like cilantro. You can always ask them to not add it. But seriously, you don’t like cilantro but like Mexican food? Most Mexican food have cilantro. Plus, what wrong with cilantro in soup? Never had caldo de res? And if you like Sinigang, you might like Canh chua. It is sour like Sinigang, but is sweeter and more lighter with an additional of some herbs that makes the soup so aromatic and flavorful. Though unlike Sinigang, canh chua leans more towards seafood than pork.

I’ve been to the Philippines many times and I am going to go to Vietnam early 2025 to check it out and maybe stay forever. I wish they had a better visa than the 90 day visa and you have to do border runs every 90 days. Prior to Covid they had a one year visa and maybe they will go back to that.
Im Filipino and i stay here in my country for my entire life. In my perspective, its more organize and beautiful in viet , incomparable to the City of Manila and the entire Capital Regions.
I'm from PH but I wanna go to Vietnam cuz I love their food and I know there are still more tourist spots lol but for travel, Philippines can offer a lot but more expensive. Promise.
I’m Vietnamese and spent a week in Manila Metro, Makati, Bonifacio, Intramuros, Pasay, and of course ate several Filipino dishes. In the Philippines, the gap between rich and poor is extremely wide and visible. If you exit the BGC area, you’ll witness the mess of ghettos with ugly constructions and endless“spaghetti wires” Vietnam, on the other hand, is pretty collective and quite clean. There’re not so many filthy slums, the countryside of Vietnam is amazing if you get out of the large cities Cost of living in the Philippines is insanely high and it’s so hard to find local businesses, everything is American. Vietnamese people have good business mindset and there’re plenty of local brands which offer good deals. I like some Filipino dishes like beef bulalo, sinigang soup, or nasi goreng with chicken satay (it’s Indonesian tho) and daing na bangus. There are some funny dishes like tiny clams with a lot of green chili. However, Filipino cuisine isn’t diverse and everything comes with rice. Then, the Jollibee chain serve fried chicken. In Vietnam, the food is really diverse so sometimes people just don’t know what to eat. Let’s try cơm tấm, cơm phần, cơm gà xối mỡ, mì xào bò, hủ tiếu, phở, bún bò huế, mì quảng, cao lầu, bánh canh cua, bánh xèo, bánh khọt, bánh căn, bánh đa cua bề bề, bún chả, lẩu thái, lẩu cá, lẩu bò, lẩu vịt nấu chao, lẩu gà… I think the Filipino government should improve the country’s situation like control the cost of goods, get rid of unpleasant scenes in slums, and help poor families.
Yeah I hear you Minh, you have a lot of valid points about the cost between the two as well as the overall cleanliness and maintenance in the neighborhoods! There are a ton of deals in VN as well!
you cant Compare MANILA to Saigon i been to both Cities and MANILA is far way more developed progressive along with KL and Bangkok you can see modern CBDs homes with tons of tall skyscrapers, where as Saigon its still a beta world city which only comparable to like 2nd tier of Philippines like Cebu or Pattaya of Thailand.
Saigon is province in vietnam, hanoi is a capital.but i admit metro manila has better than hanoi but changing so fast.and metro manila million of slum area and hanoi just a few. And saigon can beat easily cebu davao and ilo ilo.
@@aaronaround The same thing is happening in the Philippines. In fact, the Philippines has been a laggard nation for a long time because of its strict policy on foreign businesses, but since 2016, they have been catching up fast, and it shows in their recent GDP growth. They are now on par with Vietnam. With the impending opening of the Philippine economy to the world by 2024 or 2025, like what Vietnam did to its economy decades ago with the 1986-1999 Doi Moi reforms, it will just grow even faster.
There's no need to compare those two cities. Manila metro area is too old, too cramped up, polluted and has too many slumps comparing to many other cities, not just Saigon. Most Western tourists, like myself, those cities are not the main attraction during the visits. I find Vietnam to have many more interesting places and culture to experience. Kind of cleaner too.
No wonder why a lot of people I know back in high school who graduated in Education are in Vietnam’s as a English teacher. My daughters elementary teacher in Philippines just left for Thailand to be an English teacher.

Vietnam offers lower wage factoring on that, delivery of goods and services especially hotel accommodations are more affordable. Vietnam is a land mass, Philippines is made up of islands, In short the process would be cheaper in a landmass than in islands. Maldives would be a great example. Hotel Rates are insanely expensive.
to be honest, perference will be based on lifestyle...and another factor is how much of the filipines speaks english vs how much of vietnam speaks english....for instance, if u prefer to be in a place that speaks and understand english more, you' will definitely prefer the filipines.

Honestly speaking . i dont think it is a bad idea if it increases. For international.tourists and foreigners only. Give lower rates for its own native / natural citizens . i see nothing wrong with that idea. That just show difference of being a citizen of that country and being a foreigner . just priveleges of being a citizen. They can feel their worth as a citizen. Comparing cannot be avoided. We need to adjust or adapt . not the country we visit . dont like . leave the country . thats all.

Vietnam is CHEAP so many vloggers and tourists will like Vietnam. If you want good food in the Philippines, you need to spend. If you can't spend, you wouldn't like the Philippines because it's not cheap. Overall, Philippines is better for tourists because they can communicate with locals, as in, EVERYONE, while in Vietnam you just talk to your delicious food 😊

True. Vietnam has better tourism infrastructure, but I respectfully disagree with your statement that the Philippines has less variety (of landscapes and sceneries?) to offer. The fact alone that you said tourism infrastructure is not developed in the Philippines negates your assumption that there’s less variety of things to see. You don’t see them because they’re not easily accessible. True travelers, not tourists like you, go to extreme lengths to explore a country. I’ve been to 64 countries worldwide and I’ve extensively traveled in both Vietnam and the Philippines. You talk of variety? Batanes in the far North has 4 seasons. Babuyan islands and Fuga near Batanes are out of this world. Tawi-tawi and the Sulu archipelago are not tourist destinations, but Boracay pales in comparison in terms of beauty, food and culture. Yes, majority of Filipinos there are Muslim. Lake Sebu where the T’boli tribe lives is a mystical haven of long long (thousand years) history preserved in oral traditions through chanting, songs and dances. Below is an example. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they don’t exist and because you know nothing about them yet, you don’t have the right to say there’s less variety. ✌️ This is a T’boli tribe chant/song: ua-cam.com/video/6NssbrcHQ8M/v-deo.html This next one shows Babuyan group of islands. I have great respect for the Philippines. Which country is better is each person's needs and preferences but I cannot accept that you say the natural diversity of the Philippines is equal to that of Vietnam. In the Philippines, beyond the sea, islands and some volcanoes, there is nothing. In Southeast Asia, except Myanmar because I don't have too much information about this country, only Indonesia can beat Vietnam for nature. Learn the geography of your country well to know more
For your information infrastructure in Philippines is better , There have already modern LRT & MRT, modern sky ways , overpass, bridges, long elevated roads, expressways etc .and continiously improving because today there have many many BIG Infra projects are ongoing construction all over Manila including the new modern BiG international airports , new modern LRT & MRT trains and ambitious Rapid Subway Train which is pattered in Japan Subway so it's very modern & updated designed in South East Asia, when finished all the BIG infra projects all over Metro Manila Philippines will become having one the BEST infra on earth..anyways Philippines is the first country in South East Asia to built LRT train.. Philippines is progressing fast! The Philippines is the Best for foreign expats because where on earth you can see the 3 wonderl of nature ( MT Mayon, Subterranean underground river,& Chocolate Hills) in one country? Only in the Philippines, is Thailand or Vietnam or other South East Asian Countries have wonder of nature? Except beaches please...just asking.
In Thailand and Vietnam they import English teachers to teach in their schools, In the Philippines students come to learn English from all over asian and have a good time see-ing the country as well. So there's really a sharp contrast in the countries when it come's to English. As a take away if I am a foreigner and teaching English is my livelihood there's really a high chance I will settle in Thailand and Vietnam to work and play all at the same time. But if your planning to do that in the Philippines you will have hell of a time competing with really experienced local english teachers who are even being headhunted by countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, S.Korea and China. So yeap. I don't see why Vietnam is the way to go for you.

Philippines is for the adventurous people. Its like the Amazon separated in Islands. Vietnam on the other hand has the very healthiest delicious cuisine in Asia with beautiful nature. just got home from HCMC the only bad thing i dont want to point is how bad the touristy market like ben than market. the seller there have bad temper. if you ask for an item they will hold your hand so that you dont go to the next store, very desperate to sell and if you dont buy they will throw a tantrum right in front of your face. most of the seller there. and because they dont speak english you dont know maybe they already cursing you because you wasted their time entertaining you. and the price is really bad they will openly rip you off. so do a research first on the price, the bad thing is if you ask for the price they will not going to let you go unless you buy something from them then even if you haggle so much you will find that the price is still over the chart. like its better to buy from a shop like the war museum relatively cheaper than the ben than market.

👍👍👍

No offense to Pinoys, a tourist will visit a country a way more popular tourist destination than a best tourist destination for some. 😂😂

Most of those "Philippines is the best" trolls are either our poor (18% of our population live below the poverty line, and many of them use the internet) who are desperate to make the country look better than it is for "pride" reasons.. or they're honestly teenagers who don't even pay their own bills.
@@clownery4445Can you show me the revenue from tourists spent in the Philippines?
@@nattapolvvvvddd4289 2022 data tourism revenue reached 1.38 trillion pesos.
Very similar to Vietnam especially the lifestyle and climate.
yeah it is a lovely place huh? Yeah Manila is a beast haha. Really you look asian huh? That's interesting :0
Philippines is quite cheaper than in Vietnam and also that you can fine the places in Philippines that you can buy the apertment or rent that you can see that if you are knowing to look around in the Philippines and also food so many in provinces that quite cheaper to be honest
Yes there is a lot that is appealing in the Ph's.... I have yet to have food in the province though I would love to try..
Though unlike Sinigang, canh chua leans more towards seafood than pork.
actually there are lots of options in asia, lots of countries to choose from ..... like explore and take ur pick!

When it comes to food yes vietnam will be gonna won however if you are in philippines . yeah they might go back to that idk why they wouldnt
Both are absolutely wonderful. But Vietnam has a definite edge if you want a healthier longer life
Oh yeah I think there is truth to that!
I love Philippines in BGC and Makati near Glorieta everything is convenient.
oh yeah big time
Im Filipino and i stay here in my country for my entire life. In my perspective, its more organize and beautiful in viet , incomparable to the City of Manila and the entire Capital Regions.
Yeah it is true not all areas but a lot
I'm from PH but I wanna go to Vietnam cuz I love their food and I know there are still more tourist spots lol but for travel, Philippines can offer a lot but more expensive. Promise.
Yeah you should go to vietnam it is wonderful there :)
I’m Vietnamese and spent a week in Manila Metro, Makati, Bonifacio, Intramuros, Pasay, and of course ate several Filipino dishes.
In the Philippines, the gap between rich and poor is extremely wide and visible. If you exit the BGC area, you’ll witness the mess of ghettos with ugly constructions and endless“spaghetti wires”
Vietnam, on the other hand, is pretty collective and quite clean. There’re not so many filthy slums, the countryside of Vietnam is amazing if you get out of the large cities
Cost of living in the Philippines is insanely high and it’s so hard to find local businesses, everything is American.
Let’s try cơm tấm, cơm phần, cơm gà xối mỡ, mì xào bò, hủ tiếu, phở, bún bò huế, mì quảng, cao lầu, bánh canh cua, bánh xèo, bánh khọt, bánh căn, bánh đa cua bề bề, bún chả, lẩu thái, lẩu cá, lẩu bò, lẩu vịt nấu chao, lẩu gà…
I think the Filipino government should improve the country’s situation like control the cost of goods, get rid of unpleasant scenes in slums, and help poor families.
Yeah I hear you Minh, you have a lot of valid points about the cost between the two as well as the overall cleanliness and maintenance in the neighborhoods! There are a ton of deals in VN as well!

you cant Compare MANILA to Saigon i been to both Cities and MANILA is far way more developed progressive along with KL and Bangkok you can see modern CBDs homes with tons of tall skyscrapers, where as Saigon its still a beta world city which only comparable to like 2nd tier of Philippines like Cebu or Pattaya of Thailand.
yea Ernest I hear ya.. but it is quickly changing here in Vietnam it is exciting to see but I agree there are more big buildings in manila than HCMC
@@Marcus_-sy9fi lol the air quality of Bangkok, saigon and hanoi is very poor as compare to Manila🤣🤣
No wonder why a lot of people I know back in high school who graduated in Education are in Vietnam’s as a English teacher. My daughters elementary teacher in Philippines just left for Thailand to be an English teacher.
Oh yea there are tons of Filipino teachers in Vietnam... they pay well!

@@elainelim2569 How can the Vietnamese people support foreign vloggers if they don't know what they are talking about in their vlogs? Any country in the world has a right to increase their way of living. Specially during inflation and world economic crisis. Tourism industry plays a great role for any country in the world. It is every travellers right where to take a vacation , travel or find a second home . it is also everybodys personal right what country is good for you. All of us . when we go to a foreign country. We need to adjust or adapt . not the country we visit . dont like . leave the country . thats all.
Yes I agree. I couldn't agree with you more. Yes, people have a hard time adjusting to some countries. A lot of times it is the culture of the people and the governing body which determine how likely people are to learn the language and form to the culture.
Mostly . the popular ones known for Philippines is meat . it is worldwide promoted . by filipino blooded citizens going overseas or living there . may be because it is the ones thatv passes the palate or taste of the one eating. Meat dishes is not the only ones the country have . if danger to the health . do not eat . it is a persons choice. A country colonized for hundreds of years by 3-4 countries. Now, atvpresent in danger anyvtime by a 4-5 th one. If the country will notvfight or defend its own sovereignity . what will happen to the poor country ? If ever . tourism industry is great help. But if some bad foreigners or bad locals or native citizens will ruin the natural beauties of the good country . messed up. No increase of earnings or cost of way of living. Philiippines will not improve . in case of emergencies. Own military lacking. Maintenance of natural resources and national security are the matters that the country problem of.

Except beaches please...just asking.
yeah not sure
