The core of xdefiant doesn't even work for half of us. Having sponge bullets makes the game unplayable, you're basically just there for the people with good connection to shoot and kill him three bullets. And have them think they're good at the game lmao
I think it's funny how before the last update where they made it take longer to get gold camos any legitimate criticism of the game was met with "get good noob" or " it's a skill issue I'm having more fun than ever just playing the game without sbmm " or " just be patient the devs actually listen " . @Minx717 I'm not an xdefiant hater or nothing I have fun playing with my buddies ,I just thought it was funny that people were willing to deal with all the other stuff and be patient for fixes but once they made a change to the camo grind all of a sudden they weren't having as much fun and might stop playing for a while . Ive never cared about character skins or gun camos so the change didn't bother me .
@@jarrodwilliams8033 The camo grind, playing with buddies and HC were the main reasons I stayed with cod after BO2. But xdefiant, really needs to ramp it up cause it's so damn limited. The camo grind really isn't worth going for just get kills and you'll get it eventually and doesn't require you to do anything specific except gun lvl. The other challenges sure, but still fairly limited.

XDefiant is far from perfect, but right now Im having more fun playing it over COD. Yes there are plenty of sweatlords in the game but there are also plenty of normal people playing and with no SBMM at least you have a shot of running into a broad range of players. Also i can see myself progressing from stuggling to get a handful of kills to going positive on a consistent basis to sometimes popping off and having 3/4 KD games. Being that it's still the preseason I'm going to give these guys a shot for at least a couple of regular seasons to see what they do. Whats my alternative to a 6v6 shooter? Running around in COD with a bunch of ACTUAL rabbits jumpimg around, hoping the EOMM algortihm doesnt decide to make me its bitch? I'm not a fan boy of any game and I agree with pretty much every negative thing 8T mentioned minus the fedback from the devs. You can't say they haven't been extremely open and responsive to what's happening in the game post launch. Also i dont understand why people want to see the game fail? Netcode, poor Balance and people are so brain rotted that they think XD is a miracle just because it has no SBMM, which is a lie, the Welcome playlist (until acc level 25) has SBMM and Ranked will have SBMM aswell, only Pub matches after level 25 don't have SBMM altho the Team Balancing in Lobby is so atrocious that it will feel like you're in an SBMM Lobby.

There is balancing issues. But it's hard to tell if it's solely due to gun progression or if it's combined with a horrid netcode. Cause I can get some good lobbies, but then other times Half my bullets don't register, and it just feels like I'm running around with quarter health with a beebee gun and the entire enemy team's running around with triple the health with full auto sniper rifles killing me in 1-2 hits every single time.

It does have SBMM and EOMM when it comes to spawning. It's just much more subtle than COD.
