I check the recording, and thought there was a Jigglypuff hanging out with a bunch of Mareep. My brain immediately shouted "That's no Jigglypuff, it's a sheep with PINK WOOL". What a great find that was.
I was once doing an umbreon outbreak and two shiny umbreon appeared (one female) and as I went to encounter them I found a full odds shiny salandit standing right next to them--
Right on the other side of this river, I had the exact same thing happen to me, shiny Psyduck AND shiny Azurill. Sadly, after catching the Psyduck, I could no longer find the Azurill.
I got two Rockruffs back to back, in the same area. That's just in the first week of my gameplay. Since then, I figured out the picnic trick during outbreak. So, each outbreak, I almost always get enough number for its entire Shiny evolution line. For example, 2 Buizels (couldn't even get a single one in Arceus), 3 Azurills, 3 Magnemites, 2 Wattrels, and so on. 😅

Dude, I despawned a espartha because I was specifically hunting for a shiny female indeedee. 10 secs after, i got another shiny espartha. I also got not one but two shiny gallade trying to find that shiny female indeedee. RNG is wild sometimes.
I’ve encountered two shiny lechonk on the same day, 8 hours apart. I haven’t seen two shinies simultaneously but it’s probably for the best since it would mean risking losing one of them
I once found a Shiny Deerling and Sneasel to spawn at the same time at complete random. Only was able to get the Deerling, since the Sneasel despawned, but I have 6 Shiny Sneasel at this point so I don't really care.
Very nice!!! Closest I’ve gotten is having 3 shinies showing up back to back within seconds of each other in area zero. Anyone else had a shiny run into them tho? Kinda shocking if you ask me 😅
In Shield I remember being in the Wild Area trying to get to the Pokémon center when a Galarian Linoone ran into me. I was annoyed until I realized it was shiny lol. I unfortunately don't have that Linoone or the Azuril I got later on anymore, shortly after catching them my Switch Lite just refused to work so I had to send it in to Nintendo to be repaired, when I got it back everything was wiped clean
i’ve never had one run up to me but recently i was sat there idly with the game in the background and when i looked up at the screen there was a shiny buizel waiting that had just walked up to me!!
Week ago at DLC i got 3 shinies at same color (Growlithe, Nosepass and Shinx) at several hours, two of them found only at less minutes. Encountering 3 different shinies with same color at several hours is VERY rare to find at this game actually.

i was just chillin tryna get to a vaporeon outbreak in casseyora lake when i decided to take a break on an island and then i spotted a pink snake and i was like ‘wtf’ so i got closer and uhh ‘that aint no snake’ so i encountered it and whaddya know, it was a shiny dragonite first evolution (i forgot the name)!! then i started shiny hunting in the vaporeon outbreak for like over an hour until i finally saw a shiny!! i tried to save my game but the stupid controller decided to set up a picnic but i was in the water so it just had to send me onto the furthest spot of land, despawning the shiny
Lucky, I haven't gotten a single shiny yet and I might of also failed a full odds Shiny Nymble as I saw something small and yellow across my screen as I was in an encounter :(
I got a trio using one sandwich. Iron Hands - Lokix - Iron Thorns. Must have super lucky that day because my shiny luck (in other games, especially) is awful.
Crazy luck. In a sparkling sando picnic reset I've gotten doubles and 2 triples. Just got 3 shiny wugtrio and I've gotten 3 shiny carkoal in one sandwhich each but full odds 2 at once that's luck
I didn’t believe people when they said this game it’s easier to get a shiny than legends arceus lmao. On my way to completing the story and Pokédex I found a shiny growlith, a shiny gibble, and a shiny rolycoly without at full odds without even trying 💀
That's because Legends only resets the encounters once you get back to the Village. SV reset the encounters every few meters, which is both a blessing and a curse for shiny hunting.
Yes I did, I thought I lost the azurill because it ran into the grass and I couldn't see it. Though luckily I stepped on it and caught both of them lol
@midnightdagger21 and Psy is easier to see. But we all have plans of what we do when we get a shiny, but the pure panic of seeing one is sometimes too much, and you act on a whim. Out of the around 15 shinies I have, I only have a video of catching two of them because I got too excited and forgot to press the record button on most of them lmao.
Worth it for the story? Absolutely! The story is definitely one of the best I've played out of a Pokemon game though. Terastallizing is fun and the music is awesome as always. Pokemon Home is reintroducing some older Pokemon so there's that to look forward to as well. The general gameplay is the only real thing dragging it down (alongside a lack of things to do after you've done all your desired goals. Though the dlcs will likely reignite the fun), the low fps is annoying and there's still lots of unfixed bugs. Honestly, if you can look past the many bugs in the game you'll probably end up having a great time. Sorry for the lengthy message lol.

I was building a fanmade Ash team for SV and came across a full odds Shiny Psyduck. The last year on my main account, I came across a full odds Shiny Psyduck and Rockruff (no own tempo tho 🥲) on the same day, and a shiny Skiddo two months later. All full odds.
