I don't know if i have a clip of it but on day one me and my sister played and reached the first town, she wanted to talk to an npc but then she couldn't move her character or anything and no the controllers battery wasn't empty and she could control the switch home menu.
My game crash when I started the first gym challenge and I didn't save and wasted 3 hours of playtime😭
nah no amount of time can fix those glitches its an open world game just look at Skyrim or the Fallout games theyre buggy as shit as well maybe it would reduce the amount of bugs and glitches
also what happens when you void out in this game does it crash? since theres no void out animation in this game id assume so

@@victorford5047 if you honestly believe that frontiers, a game which would very easily be mistaken for a fanmade unity tech demo if it werent official is a great game, then you're definitely the kind of person sonic team makes games for nowadays. at this point, the stigma sonic games have is the least of sonic team's worries. they deserve it too, because they have proven time and time again for over a decade now completely incapable of making a sonic game that isnt pandering, dated garbage, and is just something genuinely fun to play with something to actually offer.

A nitpick I have in the game is the pokemon's eyes when there sleeping. A bit odd to point out but I noticed it during a battle. When your pokemon has the sleep status their eyes are WIDE OPEN. I especially have an issue with this because outside of battles their eyes blink frequently and they even have SLeePiNg AnImAtIoNs with their eyes closed. At first, I thought they were carrying over the "drowsy" status condition from PLA but nope, the status condition is "asleep". But that's not all, in almost every other game you know what happens when a pokemon gets the sleep condition, THAT'S RIGHT THEY CLOSE THEIR EYES!! I can't unsee it and now neither can you. Thank you all for the rant even though it will likely be buried.

@@ryean8212 Games have deadlines, and they did not meet it. Happens with many games. Now if we are talking about the ones who force them to release games before they are finished then that's another thing.
As for lucrative, I save that for companies like EA who put ads and loot boxes in $60 games, THAT is lucrative. Gamefreak is more along the lines of incompetent or out of their element seeing as they are only recently doing full open world type games and it clearly shows they aren't ready for it unless they want to hire a team the specializes in it. Everything before ultra sun and moon is more of their style and frankly they should stick with that formula. So yes, lucrative is not the right word.
It was really depressing to see Hau, who once insisted we fight for more, now just be like, "Fuck it, it doesn't matter what we do. This is the future of Pokémon, guys. Oh, well!" With no more hope left.

@@DistantKingdom It really just sucks, man. I loved Pokémon since childhood. Pokémon Sapphire was my very first video game. I'm glad this didn't start when the long awaited ORAS games released, but as it is now, I don't think I'll be buying any more until quality improves, if ever.

My experience with the glitches so far :
- Everytime I go out of the shop( the one without the interior) my character was placed in mid air and falling down or the model was spazzing out cause the character calling.
- The dissapearing terain when battling on an incline.
- The messed up skybox and shadow.
Also, my twitter is filled with people denying the glitches happened lmao it's crazy.

Eh. Frontiers still has plenty of bugs, broken collision and momentum, and EXTREMELY bad pop-in issues even on extremely powerful consoles like the PS5, but yeah this game still has much MUCH worse issues. Truly a shame at what Pokémon has become.
If I'm remembering correctly Sonic Team had a 60 people team and five years to make Frontiers while Gamefreak had roughly 200 people and three years to make S&V. That's....actually embarrassing on Gamefreak's behalf.
Provided Sega takes on the right feedback, expand the dev team as they said they would and give them the same 5 year time gap, then I'd never thought I'd say this but I'm actually rooting for Sonic more than Pokèmon.

@@cin2110 Working as assistance on one game for 2019 *and* their main project for 2022 and still having it as well received as it did, I call that a small victory for Sonic Team honestly (though they definitely still would be feeling stretched thin work-wise). Also I double checked Frontiers development time, no it was 5 years. They started after Forces in 2017.

Gamefreak's different nowadays. There was no Dexit in gen 5, despite it being intended as a soft reset of the franchise. They still bothered to program in all the pokemon, despite so few of them appearing in the game itself. If modern gamefreak ever decides to pull a Gen 5, we're only getting the new pokemon that gen, period.
Oh, who am I kidding? Doing that would mean they can't put Pikachu, Charizard, Gengar, Lucario, and Magikarp in the game. Marketiiiiiiing!

@@leonidasvonsparta I'm a die hard pokenerd, been a fan since it very first came out. However after gen 5 I think I've stopped preordering games due to lazy developers. I was excited for this version thinking we were finally one game closer to an open world concept but after watching many videos with these glitches and browsing through the Pokedex I've found gen 9 to be lazier than some of the other generations and apparently the developers don't play the games before they're released to make sure everything is running smooth. I love pokemon but this is one of many reasons I don't buy the games till months down the road when the "hype" is over.

And I blame the degenerate Elitist fanboys, and Game Freak’s bootlickers who cosigned Gen 9 to be rushed right after a month of PLA’s release.
This makes cyberpunk 2077 look like a perfect launch

Sega tried to inovate after 06 with unleashed and people hated, after that colors focosed on the critics and it was Loved for not having a "serious story", after forces tried to tell a serious story and failed, the game was and is still hated the fans rethink the entires franchise, unleashed was now loved and colors was hated. The pokemon comunity on the other did the smae thing (Black and white=unleashed and X and y=colors), the diference is that the pokemon comunity defends sword and shield ( sword and shield = forces).

Apparently they’re markers for where the origin of the room is, they just…are visible sometimes
In one of the titan caves for me it wasn’t a ball but instead a Psyduck that just stood there blankly in every single shot of the cutscene

@@larsthememelord3383 yeah the animations still aren't good. The frame rate is choppy, the jumping looks terrible. True they finally added some level of animation rather than shaking the Pokémon around, but that's still no where near good enough for the world's largest franchise EVER.
As for it being "early bugs". Since when has it been okay for someone to release something when it's no where near complete. The open world is a mess. Pokémon spawn out of no where, fights are buggy. Get a grip
And of course people are going to think the same thing; gamefreak are killing Pokémon and they aren't making enough effort to fix it. You're clearly the brainlet if you can't realise you've been robbed of £60 for a game that shouldn't cost more than £20

Xenoblade 1s map also is loaded all the time but the difference is that xenoblade is very optimized but SV is not and xenoblade actually uses low poly models for object which are far away from the players view while gamefreak is too lazy to make them or to make enough of them and just let the Pokémon and other moveable objects run with 5 fps 10m away from the player.

The map Is Always fully loaded but they use flat images of trees in the distance to make It more manegeable, trees wich are gradually replaced by the 3D models as you move nearer to them.

@@UnwantedGhost1 Dunno about you, but Gen 1 has so many damn glitches, and they needed help from Nintendo directly to even finish Gen 2. Then they had a period from Gens 3-5 where they steadily improved their craft because they had people on hand who understood the tech they were working with and had a few more years' experience than they did at the very beginning. Gen 6 is when things started going downhill because they weren't ready for the transition to full 3D and the quality has been declining ever since.
Tri-annual releases just isn't enough time it seems, maybe it worked when they were working on cartridges for the DS and but not anymore.

@@michaelbowman6684 gen 1 was made by four people with 2 of them only having a very minor understanding of programming. It's easy look back at it as a mess today but for its time it was a marvel. However there's no excuse for the current gens now, its the largest franchise in the world they could hire every programmer in the world to make pokemon if they wanted to... but sadly they don't.

I’ve screencapped some moments too. I entered a battle, clipping myself and Miraidon through some scaffolding, being only able to walk on one of the bars until I was stuck in a falling animation for a minute (meaning you can’t open your phone to fast travel out of it) until the game threw me a bone on its own.
I love this game.
At this point this isn't even sad anymore, it's funny as fuck
