- It's been a while since I took a look at the Persona 1 crew, so today we're heading back to the original cast and examining their Ultimate Personas and assigning arbitrary letter grades to them!

I always liked Amen Ra Persona 1's desing and It sucks that there is no artwork for that particular gold and blue desing.
A lot of these I feel like I would have ranked higher if I had a better look at them and could appreciate the intricacies of their designs. Like Susano-O probably would’ve been ranked lower if I didn’t have that artwork
I liked the ultimate persona Amon Ra and Susano.
Sweet video, John. It is such a shame that there is no official artwork for each of the characters' initial and ultimate Personas. While I wish Atlus would go back and reveal some design documents or make official artwork, it sadly seems like wishful thinking at this point.
Yuka so deserved a better Ultimate Persona.

Mark's initial Persona totally should have been Gozu-Tennoh. The design, arcana and mythology match seamlessly with Susano-o. It's the same with Maki's initial Persona as you mentioned.
It’s also funny because I pretty much always give Mark Gozu-Tennoh in P1. That thing is a BEAST!
The manga and drama CD pretty much seems to support the Mark/Gozu dynamic given how both gave Mark, Gozu Tennoh as pretty much his alt. persona from his affitnity.. Especially early on in the drama

Still find it wild how they turn a regular ass human into a Persona in one game and never revisit that idea again (well, the starter Persona in P5 might fit into this, but they're mostly fictional human being so)
I guess Freyr being a god of fertility is why he's Ayase's Ultimate, also, her goal in life is to have a happy family. BUT THEY COULD'VE GIVEN FREYR A BETTER DESIGN THAT JUST A GUY WITH A DAMN STICK (or antler horn idk)! If they wanted a "Let's make her ultimate related to her goal in life" they could've chosen Inanna, she's a mother goddess, and also SHE'S ROWDY AS HELL. As well, what's more fun than getting it on. ;)

Here is something that would be interesting to rank! The different Demon Partner evolutions in the Demikids/Devil Children games!
That’s one I’ve actually thought about doing! I’m a big fan of the partner demons!
@@strain42 The Demon Partners are such a cool idea for a Megaten story that doesnt laugh at the idea of The Power Of Friendship.
I know it feels incredibly Digimon-style, but that makes it even better for me!

Hey Strain42 i have a video idea talkong about every persona user that ever exists and their ultimate persona from all games but for persona one i can't find any images of all the ultimate persona so is it ok if i can take screenshots of the ultimate persona in this video and edit them down so i can get the video done sooner please
Most of the photos in this video I got from the Megami Tensei wiki. I'd feel much more comfortable if you just got the photos yourself rather than used screenshots from my video.
