It's interesting seeing her disguise herself as a teacher to get in because I know that in some countries, I believe Finland is one such example, where in addition to a teachers lounge, they also have a students lounge, which operates in the same manner.
I remember a class project in one of my last years of middle school that required the students to build some kind of toy or decoration out of trash to promote recycling. Mine ended up being a pinball table, it had a big cardboard backing as the base, the legs were empty juice boxes and the paddles were plastic spoons rigged with tape and rubber bands, and the "goal" was to get the ball up into an empty soup/bean can that was set into the top part. Can't remember if I ended up putting more stuff on it though.
I remember in college, we joined two classrooms for a huge design project involving scrapped materials. I've also been to art museums and exhibits where a display has a very convoluted explanation behind it, even if it's just random objects put together. Art can be strange to understand, and I'm a hobbyist artist 😂
I don't remember much. but I do remember the bully saying RECYCLE!!! over and over again. some things are never forgotten. He just wouldn't stop saying it.
Every state in the United States has recycling centers. But only a handful of U.S states have deposit programs. And yep you are right about if you live in a rural area it is usually very far away from the nearest recycling center.
What's funny is janitors for art museums and art displays have thrown away lots of art pieces because they were just trash and called art. One was a room full of empty bottles and trash and was called one last party
As always it was great to rewatch this classic and hear your commentary. It is also a fun time when we get to fire Gordy a bunch. Hahahahaha Have you ever considered watching Daria on here? That show has a number of school episodes, complete with different teachers and a corrupt principal! Cheers!
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Daria is an animated show that played on MTV in the late 90s to early 2000s and is actually a spinoff of Beavis and Butthead. Aside from her character coming from that show however (in which she was one of the more intelligent classmates of B&B and sometimes served as a foil to them), the show Daria is nothing like Beavis and Butthead and has a new setting as her family moved to a new town and makes no references to the show it came from except for one single mention of her old school's name in the first episode.
When I was in elementary school, there was a fundraiser at the beginning of the school year, probably for to fund the school and other reasons. In Kindergarten, I remember my dad's friend buying a lot of items for the fundraiser and as a result, I got a limo ride to McDonald's with other classmates and students who did well in the fundraiser.
I just had blast in the past with that type of bottle, if anyone from my time knows, i don’t know they still do them, haven’t actively looking for them!!
It's funny the last episode you reacted to was the iCarly episode where they had to do a project benefiting the environment. Now you're watching an episode of Ned's Declassified on recycling.
Still can't believe that you took out my favorite part of the episode where Ned discovers that the guide is in the girls room, asks Moze to retrieve it, but she refuses. "What are you gonna do, dress up to look like a girl?" A FEW MOMENTS LATER "I was being sarcastic!"
About Moze not being caught in the teachers lounge remember there is a lot of fog and flashing lights in there so that probably helped her not get caught
It’s good to recycle materials. However, people forget the Reduce and Reuse part. Throwing away a recyclable material in a bin doesn’t immediately help the environment. It’s other habits, like using only non plastic bags for grocery shopping or take home boxes that can be reused, supporting laws and legislation that helps the environment, or getting involved in mass litter pickup.
I think the reason that the recyclables don’t seem to wear that much is is it all of them are like paper and soda cans after all it takes like 29 cans to equal a pound i’m not exactly sure how much paper does it need to equal a pound but I think that’s why it seems so low
I never rode my bike to school, because I was never that close to the schools I went to, also the traffic near the schools I went to, had terrible traffic
Yup, Cookie's pile of bottles is way less ridiculous than a lot of real art pieces. I always think of that banana taped to the wall that sold for like $120k when it comes to the ridiculousness of the art world. There's a really good documentary, The Price of Everything, that goes through how some of the crazy prices are made up, and that the actual artists often see none of that money.
This brings some memories. Although My high school didn't do a recycling program we did have a thing we did occasionally called a Magazine drive the student who sells the most magazines got prize like these cool swing shot monkey/ cows that would make noises when you swing shot them that was a fun prize I still have mine somewhere in the garage. But the BIG prize was once a trip to Round table pizza in a actual Limo which I and a few other students won that was one of the fun days of school I had by far. I loved those contests. Good times
The splash of dada is prolly referring to dadaism, an art tendency about creating absurdist and seemingly meaningless art as a form of critique. A pile of bottles would fit that quite well actually
I do hope when you do do your end of series video on firing you include the rest of the school because I’m pretty sure each other teacher has at least one other firing issue or the school could face a potential lawsuit. I mean the emergency drills episode could realistically harm someone, because of what they do plus the fact that a lot of teachers are around for certain things could realistically be a lawsuit if a student gets hurt
I remember my teachers in elementary showing a few kids the teachers lounge. A table fridge and microwave. It wasn’t much. However I did see a tv hanging on the wall. Sadly I don’t remember why they had a tv. Did any schools you know ever had a tv in the teachers lounge? I’m wondering if it was just my school.
8:30 I don't know, art has become pretty ridiculous in the last years, I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually considered a pile of bottles to be a work of art.
I'm pretty sure Loomer's load was only a portion of the stuff stolen since that was a decent size of people so they probably devided the loot in some way so it didn't amount to as much. Also when it comes to art I have seen worse things be seen as art and sell for a lot of money. As the saying goes, art is in the eye of the beholder, so if some rich idiot sees it as something it is not anyone would rip them off.
Cookie's Kooky Scheme: 17 Cookie Karma? No Cookie and his bottle masterpiece... somehow it's worth a lot of dough... too bad Loomer's RECYCLE! stampede ruined it. Edit: On second thought, I wanna say the Cookie Karma wasn't deserving because he's making art out of recycling to earn money that would get him 10 prize bikes. Real Cookie Karma needs to be done in a devious manner similar to Spongebob and Patrick stretching the truth to sell chocolate in Chocolate with Nuts.
Even though you didn't show it, I must say, if you thought that Ned dressing up like a girl was crazy, just wait until Season three when you get to meet Simone.
React to Hilda episode, "The Troll Rock". Hilda is a cartoon adapted from a graphic novel of the same name. It's about a girl who goes on adventures. Anyways, The Troll Rock episode will take place in school
No se porqué pero en México se hizo meme el clip donde Loomer y sus amigos gritan ¡Reciclaje! Y creo qué se usa para cuándo te desechan en una relación y luego quieren volver contigo, es muy raro.
The closest I’ve seen growing up to recycling at my elementary school growing up was we had this program where we could turn in our empty capri sun pouches and they could be recycled and turned into backpacks. We didn’t have a prize for that but everyone drank capri suns and I thought it was fascinating they could turn into backpacks, we were shown an example of one Can’t wait for the next episode which I believe is April fools. Looking forward to seeing a crubbs firing list
That typical modern day Principle attitude is showing. If you've never heard of it then they MUST be making it up. How could a Principle be wrong? If they've never heard of it then you're automatically lying.
^ forgot to mention not only does that character remind me so much of that episode but it IS squidward trying to teach a class again soooo….just saying
I think cookie subplot might be a jab at modern art where to most people it’s just weird and random I can think of two episodes from different shows that represent that the first is the Simpsons mom and Pop art where homers fell attempted a barbecue grill seen great by modern artist and the second is a show called Dan vs episode titled art where the artist who without Dan permission painted his car. It’s shown later that how he decides what to do is literally just a slot machine to be random.
Fun Fact. The Art Teacher is Nolan North. He’s a legendary voice actor in Video Games like Assassin’s Creed Call of Dudy and Mafia 3.
And the voice of Deadpool.
And Dr. Edward Richtofen from Call of Duty
He voiced Penguin in the Arkham games and Dr N Gin in Crash Bandicoot
Don't forget Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series.
Don’t Forget D-Mob In Def Jam
Fight For NY
The “Recycle!!!!” bit cracks me up every time.
Also, “Would you pay $10,000 for that?”
Me: NEIN!!!
Lol 😂
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts maybe when they rob the "sculpture," it knocked some sense into her, and she was like, "What was i thinking??" Lol
The "Loomer screaming recycle" gag is the memorable part of this episode.
And given the prize, it isn't surprising.
"Dada" is an art movement originating in the early 20th century based in irrationality and ansurdism.
Dada was an art movement from 1915.
14:00 Could also mean that they’re all blind if they fell for that trick 😂
RECYCLE!!!!!! 😩🫵🏽
RECYCLE!

I collected different Mtn Dew 12 pk boxes over the years. I upcycled most of them into a recreation of the Hat of Discipline from Ed, Edd, n Eddy.

The art teacher comes back for the art class episode which is a hilarious episode

yeeeeees the art teacher oOOOOooo the show getting more fun :P

It took me way to long to realize that the art teacher is a parody of Andy Warhol, though he was of Ruthenian background, not German.

So, hypothetically speaking, if "Mr. Loomer... and friends" were to win the bike, how would they share it?
Loomer would dump his posse and hog the bike, laughing all the while.
oh man I haaaaaaated this episode. It always felt so unfair LOL
oh and Dada (Dadaism) is essentially anti-art.
Lemme guess? Loomer's Recycle Posse? The Weasel's secret stash? Or both?
There's a Recess episode that focuses on the teachers' lounge... you might want to watch that one.
