Gordy has officially been surpassed twice now. 😂 First by principal brown in gumball and now by Crubbs. Gordy might be lazy and irresponsible but he would never go this far. He also never did anything that would get him arrested. He seems like employee of the month in this episode.
The Miami postcard and opening a detective agency in Miami are references to the TV show, Miami Vice. I never watched that show, but I'm sure I'm right. Principal Crubbs himself is also a reference to that show, with the way how he's dressed.
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts 😂😂😂Miss Trunchbull should more likely have potental police reports than potental firings. She scared me when I was a kid 😂😂😂 In comparison Gordy is just lazy and immature and Crubbs is too over the top.
My view on pranks is that they shouldn't be aimed to hurt or humiliate somebody; but to momentarily confuse them, so that once you reveal the ruse they can get a good laugh just like everybody else. And of course, the degree to which you can do this depends on how well you know a person.
I remember when I was I think middle school, during spring break,my sister pranked me into thinking that I was late for school. I got dressed and everything waited at the bus stop for probably about 10 minutes until I realized that I didn't have school.😂😂😂
6:25 not is that only a potential firing, but deliberately tampering with food or drink in an attempt to cause physical harm is a felony that (depending on the state) can get you up to 20 years in prison! Good work, Crubbs.
This might be the most heavy potential firings in a single episode yet, and they weren't even for Gordy! 😆 Once again it has been a pleasure to rewatch this classic here with you. I've not been on for a few days so I'll have some catching up to do over the weekend haha. Until next time, cheers!
Ah, yes...the episode that I knew would introduce potential Crubbs firings. It's finally happened! Also, I remember back in my mid-elementary school days, our principal came into the room, immediately calmed us down from our playful April Fool's jokes against each other, and told us very seriously that the statewide standardized tests that we had recently spent about a week taking had to be retaken because the machine could not read our answers. Everyone was devastated until he casually remarked upon leaving, "April Fool's, guys!" Everyone in the room was mad, with some even quoting lines from the recently-released Finding Nemo like, "Curse you, aqua scum!" But in the end, it was still good fun and no one stayed mad, especially since it meant no retaking any standardized tests.
Yeah, I think this is the episode that might inspire you to go back and see if the other staff has any potential firings and to check if the school has any potential lawsuits
I loved this show as a kid I remember this episode and Crubbs pranks have to admit made me jealous that my teachers didn't do tricks I wondered why now I know lol
In fairness, Loomer had several instances of bullying in past episodes. Crubbs had reason to call him out with his record, then set up a meeting with the principal for a potential expulsion. But, it's a show for laughs and Loomer is the bully archetype character, they need to keep him. Same with Gordy as the lazy janitor, but he needs to stop inviting kids into the janitors closet, another potential firing.
Maybe Gordy got enough dirt on Crubbs so his wrongdoings are overlooked in exchange for silence Or the principal keeps Gordy arouind to keep Crubbs in check (outside of Gordy-time, that is)
All this talk about how the Gordy gets away with not getting fired than you have principle Crubbs having over double digit firings in 11 minute episode. Yeah this school is dysfunctional! 😭
17:00 Snare traps are deadly and yet I've always wanted to be in one(non-deadly). Crubbs is ridiclous. Only set up traps if you test them yourself and use them only on people who consent. Traps should be safe.
This is spoilers for a later episode but it's pretty obvious, Crubbs always wanted to be in Miami Vice but he couldn't get in so instead he became a Vice Principal because it still has Vice in the name which is why he's treating it as if he's a cop because he's still obsessed lol.
When I was in probably third grade, a older girl on the bus told me my shirt was ugly, then said "April Fools." Which meant she actually truly did really liked my shirt. I had on a purple shirt with a sparkly butterfly. But yeah, in elementary school, I vaguely remember students insulting other students before saying "April Fools." I was probably a part of it too.
On april fool's day, I like to make more subtle jokes to people, and mostly about myself. For example, I'll say I woke up at 4am this morning, when I really woke up at 5am. Jokes like that
This episode is one of the wildest and it really portrays Crubbs as an antagonist, besides, this was one of the episodes that I watched most of the times when this show was aired. The next episode is also one of the funniest and I want to see your reaction to certain events.

Next episode should be a good one. Looking forward to failing which I believe is 10 or so episodes away, you’ll get to meet the guidance counselor, who’s crazy
Crubbs is doing a speed run to be more firable than Gordy! I also dislike April Fool's day. I have a no prank policy. I refuse to prank anyone, but this is the day where you can just be randomly targeted, and people tend to take things too far.
I forgot how CRAZY this episode was. I feel bad for that student who got hurt by the cookie and had to be taken by ambulance. That was definitely irresponsible of him to do. Well at least he got his karma in the end
The only April fools day pranks I remember teachers pulling were overly complicated assignments that they’d write on the board, like you said. There was also a time we got a surprise pop quiz, and I think the teacher let us get all the way through it before telling us it was a prank
Once for High School, someone planted a stink bomb in the trash can between the School Library and the Drama classroom (Good thing the new building is an Open Air Atrium.)

19:21 Just like the Superintendent in iCarly, this guy also is carrying in a briefcase. Is that common practice for school officials to do? Or is that just an exaggeration for tv?
After watching your reaction to this episode, this made me think of a question. How would you react if a teacher graded his or her students papers and then gave all zeros to the whole class? The reason I ask is that on April Fools Day 2005, my resource teacher once did that after we did a spelling test back in elementary school. I remember her immediately marking every single question wrong by putting X’s with permanent red marker on them. Some of us were pretty upset, but only one of the students knew it was a joke, and then our papers were graded for real afterwards. I know you’re not an elementary school principal, but I am curious what your thoughts would be on this.
If they actually did this, it would spark a conference with the principal about their grading practices. Most teachers, if this actually happened, would throw that grade out and teach whatever content it applied to. The goal is for students to learn, not for a negative grade to be assigned. If everyone got zeros, it would be obvious that no one learned anything.
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts Would the teacher still have a conference with the principal even if giving out zeros to the whole class was just an April Fool's joke?
