Since you put Moenbryda in the 6.0 poster, why not add Krile :)
would it be crazy to dream that in 7.0 and beyond 1 of the new jobs we get gives passive boosts to gil and drop rates :) also im kinda hoping they add gil boosting foods or potions that give a Boost in various things like drop rates and such for and hour or so in 7.0 its really becoming a problem for some people the market board is sometimes ridicilously overpriced like people have no clue how market board actually works also they need to add alternative methods for getting various things like mats or gil in 7.0 and im also kinda we get a straight up gil dungeon in 7.0 like you get only gil and various relic mats from it and no exp at all thats just what im hoping for at least
Considering her refounding the Students of Baldesion with G'raha, I can easily see her becoming a manager similar to Minfillia. And when the Students start making Eureka-type explorations, she knows just the Warrior of Light to call.
Krile: "pray return to the annex"
Yea I could see this as well
So long as she keeps it zipped on us being WoL, let's go former for now on.
Krile has such a great personality, and I feel as the WOL I have a strong connection with her via the Echo in the same way I did with Minfilia. I was extremely happy to see us get to share Echo flashbacks together, and so I see a huge amount of plot potential for her to be a primary character in the 7.0 story as an adventuring companion to the WoL.
An adventure focusing on the WoL+Krile+Graha would be a dream come true!
Krile for me is uninteresting and boring.
Due to Krile showing that she has psychic abilities from earlier in the series, and having strong ties to that in the MSQ, maybe that will be what she becomes: Psychic.
For an explaination, the Students could look into how to control Akasha/Dynamis effectively and Krile is able to connect to it faster than most. This would be a cool way to have a new caster that uses an alternative source for their magic.
Ooh! That would be awesome! :D
I've been wondering how a dynamis caster would look since 6.0. And we're definitely due a new caster DPS (inb4 SGE :p)
A Dynamaster! ;)
I like the way you said this. Makes a good strong case for new caster. Lore friendly and creativity from the dev team to show off new tech when 7.0 and beyond comes out.
Psychic abilities? You mean the Echo?
Alisaie actually got a job change pretty early before the other scions. Like her brother she started as arcanist in ARR, but it was never her preferred style as she noted in HW when fighting "Warriors of Darkness".
Because of her personality, being hot headed and up front with everything, she preferred to be up close and personal, in which she changed to Red Mage, although she wasn't very good at melee combat but exceptional with the magic aspect to according to X'rhun Tia's conversations during the RDM class quests (I think it was the 2nd quest...maybe the 3rd).
So honestly it really just leaves Krile and since Tataru kinda went from ACN to DoH classes.
Seeing as we haven't had a new Caster since Red Mage it would be nice to have a new one.
New DPS job in endwalker was RPR (melee), and in ShB was DNC (Pranged). 7.0 4sure will be a caster.
@@bernardo.bridon I agree, Caster is pretty much guaranteed. Beyond that, I think its a toss up whether we get an Aiming or a Scouting class, though I lean more towards Scouting as it is the only armor set with only one class using it.
@@bloodicemoon7035 Nah it will just go with the rest of the caster gear. The 2nd job will probably be a tank.
@@bernardo.bridon We got a tank in shb and a healer in end. I'm thinking we're looking at a double DPS class release like Stormblood. Scouting gear STILL only has one class that uses it as of yet - they'll need to be rectifying that sooner rather than later.
With reference to the "great changes coming", the conversation with Yoshi-P in the Rising event specifically says, "Indeed, another great change is about to visit the world, and it shall open the way to exciting new journeys." This doesn't sound like a graphical overhaul, which doesn't "open the way to exciting new journeys". My guess is that something that happens is going to give us access to all of the shards, or maybe even other stars entirely.
@@Nimoot In fact, the changes are now happening gradually over the course of the 6.x patch cycle.
The graphics overhaul is coming in 7.0. However, given we know with certainty it is coming, the "Big changes" coming is highly unlikely to be this graphics overhaul.
@@Caursten Again, they are gradually adding the graphical updates throughout the patch cycle as well instead of all at once. 7.0 is when we see the changes completely. But before 7.0 is also gonna see updates.
Based on the previews, they are graphical overhauls of some scale.
When you say "A Big Change is Coming" and the story for 7.0 won't begin to unfold until 6.5 I instantly think of the Dalamud event.(And before anyone says, no I'm not saying Dalamud will come again lmao I'm saying an event just as huge will occur) I believe in 6.5 some great event or the "Big Change" will start "approaching" the world. Whether it's the First or the Source or even a whole other Shard I can't say for sure, but something will begin to approach our world(s) and slowly through patches from 6.5 onward it'll get closer and closer. Then right when 7.0 drops, a cinematic cutscene; not one we'll be shown in future Fanfest either, will happen showing this Great Calamity/Change to one of the worlds. I know it's tinfoil hat territory, but that's all I could think about with the information at hand.
@@ikeaira8701 i mean you might not be far off, Yoshi-P's the kind of guy that's conscious of the weight of his words. And given the stuff that's happened in-game up to this point, the bar for 'a Great Change' is pretty damn high. Doesn't strike me as something he'd start hyping this early unless he was hella confident it's gonna make a huge impact
Given the slots we have left, a new job for Krile would be
1. the second scouting to wrap up the six melee with their three armor types (least likely, given we just got a melee and she doesn’t seem the scouting gear type)
2. the fourth ranged (middle ground of likeliness, depending entirely on what it is and why Krile would swap to it)
3. and last but certainly not least the fourth caster, most likely by far given her current set of skills in the story and it’d be the one role with an open slot that had it the longest of the three mentioned here-EW since a melee (two years), ShB since a ranged (four years), SB since a caster (six years!)
Krile has to be some kind of healer. She's made it clear that's where her heart is.
@@KMCA779 Well, since alphy became a sage, the scions currently have a "scholar" slot open unless she wants to dive more into conjurer/white mage
Insert an "we already have 4 casters...blue mage or whatever" joke here. Seriously though, I think caster is most likely.
Caster definitely most likely
she'll either be a New Caster or a New Healer class that heavily uses Dynamis for sure! I'm just hoping Physical Ranged gets another addition to the role. What exactly, I'm not sure...
Considering Stormblood has it so you're primarily a Rebel Army against the Garlean Empire, it's somewhat reminiscent of FFII.
Shadowbringers having the concept of the balance of Light and Darkness, is also reminiscent of FFIII.
Endwalker involved travelling through outer space to reach a great threat that corrupts others, is reminiscent of FFIV.
So I'm not so surprised if Krile would be brought into the forefront of the next expansion. Possibly involving the merging of two worlds, reminiscent of FFV.
oh god then that means for 8.0.....if they keep this trend...FFVI the world was destroyed!
@@ikeaira8701 This may not relate to the source however, as there can be another shard on the brink of destruction to the point of no return. As if a Nihilistic Maniac had destroyed it.
I wonder what could happen next, but I would really be surprised if we would get a storyline about worlds merging, since we had the ascians merging shards.
Maybe in another sense about "merging" the southern, isolated part of the world with our well-known northern part as in accessibility.
Btw #UncloudIlsabard
Welp, we got a world that's overflowing with Darkness, and a world that we just saved from overflowing Light.
If we could initiate a non-genocidal rejoining, not with the Source, but between 2 of the reflections...
Wow that's...actually genius. I can't believe I didn't notice that. My only complaint is at that rate I'll have to wait FOREVER for ff7! XD Oh well, I better get another "Kefka "character in the FFVI expansion. More mad clown! (At least until I get my angel lol)
I would say its about dang time. She is an amazing character who always is left behind. Like Yshtola in stormblood. Would love to see her evolution to more involved scion especially with a new job.
Krile in FFV had a couple caster-ish jobs that had her ponytail out in the sprite, the main ones coming to mind being: Time Mage, Oracle, Necromancer and my favourite Mime.
I still hope that Gosetsu will play a part in 7.0 and that his new job from the phys ranged role quest becomes available.
I wanna see Krile rocking the ffXI beast master set. With the sheep helmet, dual welding axes, and a crab pet. POG!
The intrigue for 7.0 has already begun since 6.1, but after 6.2, I think it's safe to say things are going to ramp up in 6.3 and beyond, with 6.5 obviously being THE patch for this "world changing" event that will set up hype for the expansion. I chuckled a bit about the graphical improvements being world changing though, haha. I mean, it's true!
7th umbral Calamity is destined to happen one way or the other the WoL can only forestall it for so long lol
@@RaidenKaiser well since the seventh umbral calamity has already happened, and there is no one left to create calamities. i feel the wod storyline will wrap up by 7.0 and we will get a new world to save
if Krile takes on one of 7.0's new jobs, it'll for sure be a caster. Perhaps we can guess at the new job by looking through what we know of Krile?
I've been thinking about the idea of a specialized mage that controls combat-oriented mammets; seeing how mammets are so often used in Sharlayan, I could see a field of research devoted to finding ways of using mammets for battle.
Something based on the Echo (which itself is probably based on Dynamis since we still have the ability after 6.0) would be very cool. People with the Echo are pretty rare but they still exist. Since some work with time (like the WoL’s echo) time mage might be a possibility. Would be hard to implement but if anyone could do it it would be CBU3.
The echo is soul-based, all Ancients had the echo and since everyone alive is a sundered soul they can all trigger the echo with the right requirements. I don't think dynamis plays much if any part in it given that the ancients couldn't use it thanks to their souls/aether being so dense that it made dynamis almost completely inviable as a casting medium by comparison.
A mammet themed puppet master style class would be neat! Perhaos with a main Mammet that acts as the weapon slot, some extras that come for specific attacks, you could give them "order: " moves as oGCDs. Honestly, i can see it.
I love Tataru of course, but I am very excited to see another Lalafell be more active (esp combat wise) - we haven't had that since Papalymo.
I think the Scions would need more Miqote, there is barely any important Miqote right now.
@@shizachan8421 Eh?
G'raha and Y'shtola not enough? Roegadyn needs more active representation in a main cast side imo. Moenbryda's was too short in the MSQ. The B-Team Scions have the twin Boulder brothers but they're not active enough to give more Roegadyn representation. Varshahn is giving Au Ra representation since Stormblood.
@@demonjin6876 Don't forget about Gosetsu, even if he's a more unique form of Roe. There's definitely opportunity to encounter him again since the story is turning towards exploration where we could meet him on the road.
@@shizachan8421 G'raha and Y'shtola are one of the most popular characters in the story. Them two alone are enough to carry the miqote race as representatives
They dont use politics and representation to choose race composition of the scions but simply popularity. Its probably that we will habe a bun boy before au'ura, for example.
I think it's funny that after talking about the "mistake" of Krile not being in the 6.0 key art, you put up a shopped picture of it with Moenbryda at the top instead of Venat.
That said, I'm very excited to get more Krile!
I have a feeling that her new job will either be Beastmaster or geomancer. Her original character she was based off of in FF5 was able to communicate to animals, so its a stretch but maybe... if not I could see her picking up a healer role, and Geomancer has always been available in the world's lore.
That's assuming Geomancer is a healer in XIV (it could be the dps adjacent of Astro the same way Summoner is to Scholar) or that we'd get two healer jobs in a row. We're definitely most due for a new caster first and a new physical ranged or tank next.
@@midnightbloomofeorzea7182 I'd love more jobs that play into each other like that tho. Imagine a rune based magic/rune based knight that's either healer or dps that uses claymore it would be pretty cool tho I have a feeling it would have to be healer otherwise it would start stepping on red mage's toes a bit too much lol.
Her outfit is also Devout outfit, which is basically stronger WHM. But yeah I don't think we are getting a healer role, since we just got one.
Hopefully a caster, something dot and channel based would be cool (shadow priest from wow) - although dot/hot timer sucks in FF unless they rework that, which they won't.
Beastmaster would be cool too, but again the engine sucks and they don't want to make pet based class, which is why summoner derived from that path too.
I just hope it won't be just another BLM with different gimmick and animations.
0:51 a new outfit for krile? so she will put her old pikachu-like outfit into the wardrobe, this new outfit will be for sure a raichu-like outfit x'D
Krile's most popular job sprites from FF5 are White Mage and Beastmaster, if that indicates anything. But I think her Bard and Samurai sprites also look nice, and we could use a Bard character for Trust. In FF14 she's always used a book for any combat animations she has, so it wouldn't be too out there for her to become a Summoner either.
Regarding the key art for 6.0 not including Krile, Yoshi P did admit on a radio show that it was purely by accident that she was left out when he himself commissioned the art piece, and only realized when the work was near completion and was too late to add in another character (I think Krile was supposed to be between Thancred and Graha) He also apologized to Krile's VA Yoshino Nanjo, who was also on the same radio show for this, and said that he knew nanjo-san would be mad about this so originally he intended to keep this a secret (until he was asked straight in the face by none other than nanjo-san herself)
I remember this, he said that Krile was supposed to be right in the middle towards the top next to who we now know is Venat
A bit of a hint as to her newfound role albeit a short role as hydaelyn’s vessel
Her finding knowledge on lost magic or something from baldesion would be sick and has so much potential.
if it is really krile, then it can only mean one thing: new caster job :D
I love krille so much im super happy to know she'll be more involved later I always felt like they kind of had little idea of what to actually do with her character before, so i look forward to seeing what comes next for her
Alisaie had a class change from ARR/HW to Red Mage in Stormblood. She was the same "Arcanist" class as Alphinaud during ARR/HW, more noticeable of course with her Bahamut Questline.
Krile has been one of my favorite Lalafell characters, so I'm glad she will be getting more love in 7.0! Excited to see where her story will go :D
If you want to check possible jobs and outfits for Krile, I think its safe to assume that its a FFV job and that her outfit will be one of Krile's (from FFV) outfit from the other jobs. Krile is a playable character from FFV and her cat hoodie outfit is the same outfit as Krile from FFV when using the White Mage job.
hearing the news made me so happy; krile’s always been one of my favorites
she has so much great potential, can’t wait to see what they do
Appreciate the update on Yoshi-P's interview. Great theorycrafting & good lookin' out o7
Your love for the game just bursts through in every video you make. Never change 👍
thanks Matt, you are really kind (: ill keep the fire ablaze.
So here for a Krile glow-up. I love her SO much! And, I desperately want her hairstyle. It’s so, so cute.
I recall an interview recently where YP said something about the next jobs they add will be unique to FFXIV and not seen before in the FF series.
I wonder if the quest capstone quest for completing ALL of the studium quests is hinting at what is to come? I was actually surprised that they talked about it so openly
4:22 - Alisaie already had her major Job Change moment in Post-HW/4.0. Arcanist to Red Mage.
Kryle always deserved better. I always like her because she calls everyone on their shit while being caring for all. Been playing Ffx2 again and there's a Psychic job so maybe something like that?
I can't wait to find what they have in store for Krile
Given that Shadowbringers was inspired by FFIII and Endwalker being heavily inspired by FFIV, I'm thinking anything related to FFV might be pretty accurate for 7.0 and to Krile.
As for the mention of Beastmaster, the last time I made a concept for that was as a physical ranged that relied on dots and indirect damage. While the concept I made used a sling, I could definitely see the caster version using a hunting horn.
I think we're getting Geomancer as a new caster job. Galuf (if you've done Eureka you know who Galuf is) is a Geomancer in FFV, and I could see them using that as the new job for Krile. That said, perhaps Beastmaster could still happen as well, if we're assuming we'll be getting 2 new jobs in 7.0.
I truly hope so. Been wanting geomancer for a while now.
Beastmaster/Tamer might actually be closer to Krile's redesign than we think if you factor in Island Santuaries.
Oh man can't wait for all the new content coming to this game. Even 7 years playing this game it still gets me excited to play everyday for hours.
Easily one of my favorite Scions and one of the few Lalafells I can trust, and I really want to become more and more relevant since I love her personality and her quick humor and comfort she gives. The only issue I'd have is that a DPS Caster is that Krille is in the Codex and also some other lore books (alongside in game) is not too well versed in offensive magic, but is INSANELY gifted in the healing front of things. I think she was able to attack the first bunch of mobs in Zot but outside of that, we have never seen her attack, and likely won't. But then that gives rise to the issue of how many healers we have, Alphinaud, Urianger, G'raha as an all rounder, who knows if Y'shtola will in the future be able to heal again, and then add Krille to the mix? Just a very strange conundrum it leaves it in, though the Scions don't have to return as Trust characters in the future with how things might be looking
in the latest patch, yshtola offered her healing services for a dungeon. sooo i think in her case its more she's a blm main but can still whm.
@@GreenTurts yea job switching isnt exclusive to us. I can see krile be able to be a WHM and some kind of supporty caster like a time mage. This would also throw competition to RDM on the utility caster bag.
I’m so glad I found your channel! Thanks for all your time and effort to bring us news, updates and discussion
Too kind thank you 🙏
I remember seeing an obscure job from a lesser known FF game called Green Mage, which seemed to be focused around magic and melee with a blunt mace style weapon. I'm not sure if Geomancer would be the same or similar to that, but it seems like an interesting class to bring to the forefront.
Green magic is already mixed in with White Mage and Black mage.
So I dont see them doing it unless they do something similar to Sage and make it comepletly new.
Green mage being largely a buff/debuff class is a slight issue also, they've never been known for offensive magic, do they'd probably be made a healer anyway
Very exciting news! Thanks for sharing! Also, it seemed like all the pieces were there for a Beastmaster class, but Covid probably limited their ability to deliver the class.
I have been waiting for Krile to get her time to shine! She’s been so involved in so many plots. It’s time to have her with us more
Krile as Berserker. Lets GOOOO.
But if we are going Beastmaster path. We can call it Tamer or maybe Empath.
Empath please. So cool.
Considering her connection to the ff11 references with Eureka puppet master or beast master would be so good. I would also like to see ruin fencer or geomancer but they are too similar to rdm and ast.
i don’t know if any ff equivalent exists but i think a bare-handed caster would be neat, maybe with handheld weapons like some of monk’s smaller ones?
I would be all for Krile being the new Alphy when it comes to being the driving force of the MSQ for 7.0+. I also don't think the "shake up" will simply be the graphics update, Yoshi mentioned about wanting to separate 2.0-6.0 from 7.0+ so new players aren't forced to have to do all of the previous MSQ first. Personally hoping for a "character reset" in that they apply a alternate leveling system in 7.0+ zones, bonus points if they do job reworks in this system since many of the jobs need redesigns due to age.
In the cutscene where Krile pulls down the hoodie, I was like "Dang, you're pretty." Amazing what a hairstyle can do. It was like in those teen movies where the girl just lets down her hair and takes off glasses, only this time it was just actually seeing her.
I have a feeling that.... "The Great Change" would be something like this...
A rejoining of shards.
Probably unlike the ascian's version of destruction and absorbtion.
I have a feeling that the 13th would later rejoin with the Source or the 1st... Balance will be partially formed and probably the map of the 1st would be expabded.
We do not have a 13th world map yet, but what if that it isn't in the 13th we get a map, but a different shard.
Yshtola's traversal of worlds, Krile and the Baldesion School's new study...
I know it's a stretch and a reach, but I would be interested if these happen...
All in all, I'm excited on what will happen.
Personally I'm expecting the raid and msq to 'collide' in a way and for these myriad worlds and realms to overlay upon the Source, not just aetheric rejoining but a physical world's merging kind of deal. Like imagine if the First became a continent on Eorzea or if Elpis became a city floating in the clouds, or if the 13th helped balance out the aether by sucking it up so voidsent could live amongst us just as Ultros and Typhon and Zero do now.
As Krile is the best Lalafell in game it is great we'll be spending more time with her. Do hope this means will be seeing her in Trusts for both 7.0 and the few duties she could be in for Heavensward.
>The Best lalafell in the game
This is Tataru slander.
@@forestmaiden2316 I will never understand her fan base.
@@forestmaiden2316 i say both Krile and Tataru are about equal for very different reasons. Those two are bad asses.
HW: Tank, Healer, Ranged
SB: Caster, Melee
ShB: Tank, Ranged
EW: Healer, Melee
I think we're almost guaranteed to have a new caster in the next expansion. What I'm not sure is what's the second job going to be. We've gotten ranged and melees alternating each expansion, so maybe it's time for another ranged? Especially because they seem to dislike making tanks and healers, they'll probably avoid making another one for the next expansion.
Then again, they did decide to divide healers into regen and barrier healers this time around, so maybe it's to make it easier on them when making new healers? Perhaps aiming for a new healer job next expansion? Hm... who knows.
If you ask me, I really wish they shook up their job design. A melee healer, a caster tank, a caster melee and a physical damage caster are on my wish list of things I wish the most. Blue Mage already can tank and cast physical spells, and I think the fantasy is really solid there, and there's also easy workarounds to the problems you can think of (For example, how can a tank take aggro reliably if it requires cast times? Simply make the AOE instant cast, done.)
my crackpot guess is that it is going to be the equivalent of the enclaves (the throwing dagger dudes from ffxv who make up the kingsglaive). it would fit the scouting armor and they could be a hybrid melee, phys ranged and magic ranged class all wrapped into one. the whole concept of them only being able to use magic when the king lets them is super cool so that could be the "burst" or whatever. and then the rest of their kit is made up of physical attacks mixed between short and long range with their teleporting skill similar to noctis
Would be really cool for Krile to bring forth a new caster, especially since we havent had an active Lalafell Scion on the field since Papalymo. Maybe some kind of Caster/Healer? Hard to say.
I’d love to see the Twins come back a bit older and more experienced, maybe Alphi looks more like his Father and maybe Alisaie could even become another new job. I’d love to see her as a kind of Magic Knight; a much more physically-oriented caster.
Makes me wonder what the WoL job will be in 7.0.
I don't have any particular like for Lalafel, however I LOVE Krile so this news makes me happy!
Now that you mention it, our Krile's ponytail is totally the same as FFV's Krile. It has the same little curl on the front of the forehead and everything.
Krile is my waifu... so seeing her more and focus in 7.0 makes me extremely happy! Though in FFXIV official art, she is seen holding Matoya's ball... so Oracle would fit very nicely as she's already a White Mage (Eureka story).
This actually goes along with a theory I have, that the Kairos will somehow be transported to the current time, and it'll be used to erase everyone's memories of the Warrior of Light. This would give us a fresh slate to start with, and would be a good base for the next story they want to tell.
This would also mean that Krile, with the Echo, could potentially peer into our mind to see what we've been through, and remember what she's forgotten, leaving us with at least one old ally.
Krile is one of my favorite characters in 14! I'd love to see her get more screentime and a cool storyline. Seeing a new job be available tied to her would be amazing!
He mentioned something about wanting to make a job brand new to the franchise so really anything is possible
Maybe something like Geomancer? I kind of miss having a Druid from WoW times and we don't have much in the way of "nature"-themed anything. Oh, sure, White Mages starts as a "Conjurer" but that whole bit starts to get phased out more and more as you level and by Shadowbringers you're pretty much just slinging white magic and little if anything of "nature" magic.
So maybe Geomancer as a caster-druid kind of job, where you call forth earthquakes or lava from the ground, or windstorms, and maybe even some pets like Summoners get, but with different mechanics to make it feel distinct. I dunno, just some ideas. I just miss calling the planet itself to smite my foes.
But yeah, I can see Krile getting move involved as a caster type. I have honestly been surprised she hasn't been one since her introduction.
Considering krile has the same design as the "devout" from FF3, maybe she'll get FF3's version of the sage, aka a magic user that can use all magic schools (unlike red mage that also includes summoning magic) in FF3 that was the final evolution of all magic jobs.
If Krile is the rising star of 7.0, then my prediction that the new expansion will base its inspiration to Final Fantasy V is almost true, just like how Shadowbringers take reference of FFIII and Endwalker to FFIV
XIV has already picked the bones clean of FFV. Faris and her pirate crew are probably the one thing they haven't brought over yet.
@@providencebreaker1558 if we haven't get Soken and team's remix of FFV main theme, I wouldn't count that as 'bone clean' yet :)
I'm glad she's getting more attention and I also find it hilarious considering Yoshi-P apparently forgot about including her in the Endwalker poster.
Considering the current direction of things in the Patch, I'm expecting the Crusade from the 13th to either do something to the Source and awaken something in a new part of the world or for it to tear a hole and endanger a new reflection that we'll have to go help and explore.
Krile did say in the ending she wanted to be more help
not surprised if she help us in the future ventures
From the release of Endwalker and new classes, I believe it was said that the next class will be one that hasn't been seen in FF14 before. So I think they might have something interesting for her if it is.
Her ponytail is in the game right now. Not the front bangs or the fact it's to the side, but the actual tail part is the "Tall Tails" design lol. The curve in it,and the two tiny upward curls of hair on the bottom sides..
Cant wait for your video essay to see what its all about :)
Krile is my fav member. Sweet yet slightly sarcastic and mischievous. VA has a very attractive voice as well
Considering Krile is the only one (besided the WoL of course) in the Scions that has the Echo, sort of makes sense she would be like a succesor to Minfilia
Thank you for your insights. Looking forward to the new classes that Yoshi-P and his creative team are coming out with.
After completing Eureka recently she's definitely a great character that deserves more of a role in the future.
Also want to see Thief Class come back. Like in FF11. 1 handed dagger user. I dunno if you are aware, a lot of the FF14 job animations are similar to the job animations in WOTV FFBE (war of the vision) mobile game . Monk animation same as in FF12 . Just speculating but a lot of the classes can be seen in the mobile game and transfer over to FF14? Maybe lol
7:30 I don't know if this was an intentional joke or just the wrong pic being grabbed, but I definitely did a double-take seeing Moen in that pic there.
Well, if there's a new job and Krile is the basis, her outfit (especialy the cat-ear hood) is an easy reference to the Seer job. In the classic games, that was basically an upgrade to the white mage job. Maybe the matching outfit is coincidental, and I'm not sure what they'd do with Seer that would match its classic purpose. Not sure!
Man, I just noticed that the 6.5 release should just about aligned with the 10th anniversary of ARR. That should be wild!
Krile as a beastmaster i wouldnt be surprised. its a very fun job in FF11. seen a full party of Beastmasters Solo a big NM boss :o super cool to watch.
Awesome! I love Krile. That voice actor has the smoooothest voice and the character is just lawful good sweetness.
Ninja Scouting Gears are the ONLY jobs without sharing another jobs. I think 7.0 New Jobs will FINALLY have a job that will be able to equip this Scouting Gears.
I do wonder if the efforts to fix the 13th shard in may result in us inadvertently causing it to rejoin the source & the subsiquent calamity that'll go with it.
We NEED more customizations in hairstyles tattoos beards etc.
id kill to be able to give my wol permanent body tattoos (rather than the ones that only come with gear???)
It may help to try to predict 8.0's story when trying to identify Krile's new job. Similar to how Reaper is becoming a focal point of 7.0.
It's a stretch but I can see her being a beast master or possibly geomancer. beast master since the character she was based off of could talk to animals
Krile HYPE!! She is an amazing character, I hope she can get more screen time :)
Her hood is actually the iconic appearance of the Devout job from FFIII. She uses this appearance when she becomes a White Mage in FFV.
And considering a Devout is traditionally an advanced version of a White Mage, Devout will be a healer, and with Yoshi-P struggling to adapt job identity to past Jobs, it will likely have the Sage treatment and be Devout in name only.
Her outfit is the Seer outfit from FFTA 2 , look it up , we might get that one
i dont play FFV but i do play FFTA and when the first time i saw Krile, to me she looks like a Seer Job from FFTA
the most unique thing about that job is, they could apply physical damage right after their magic hit the enemy and they could learn white and black magic as well
but then i think it wont be suitable for FFIV, so im not sure
Oracle could also be a possible new job.. one focused on LIGHT for Krile!
With the Summoner rework getting rid of the DOTs, that opens up room for a new DOT based caster, so maybe that could work
I know this is an ancient video but krile's outfit is the the devout job on FF3. Which is like a super white mage. My thought are Devout holy based DPS caster
With the latest released stories, I thought that Erenville would join the party as the new Hunter /Beast Master class. :)
Mage Tank! Because of her longing to help people, she obviously doesn't have the physical capabilities to protect but maybe a role that uses magicks to tank instead.
Though I am not familiar with FF enough to think of a possible class to match.
Well, Yoshi P also mentioned with the way the game is going, they might have to make jobs that are entirely new to the franchise so don't lose hope yet!
I still think a melee class that draws close to what ranjeet and the p6 p7 and p8 bosses were like is possible. I would love to play it
I believe that ppl say you saw her without hood during eureka, but dont remember it.
If we're going purely off "whats missing for equal job number" then we're missing a phys ranged and a caster, to have 4 of each role(except melee) and a 2nd scouting job for melee.
Personally i dont ever see beastmaster as anything other than a limited job like blue mage but focused on gathering beasts rather than spells
I think she will be like a shaman, instead of like summoner that create a lesser primal form, she will infuse all sort of spirits in her to gain power, like she was capable of hosting hydaelyn for a brief moment.
honestly at this point the most I'm hoping for is a new tank job. Seriously there are like four tank jobs, meanwhile tvere are enough DPS's that you could build a whole party around them. Tanks need love too guys..
Considering that her cat hoodie is a reference to her namesake's White Mage outfit in FFV, I wonder if her new Job will also have an appearance similar to its counterpart there. her hairstyle would fit Ninja, but that seems a rather unlikely.
Speaking of references to past characters, Estinien, while not named that way and with a completely different appearance, is pretty much FFXIV's version of Kain from FFIV, who's the poster child for Dragoons of the entire Final Fantasy franchise. I can definitely not see him ever changing his job.
I'm glad Krile is getting some love. I'm fond of her character despite not being one of the scions heavy hitters. She has been a great supporting character. My biggest issue with her is her outfit. I get that it's a reference but it is hard to take her seriously when she looks like she is fresh out of daycare.
It would most likely be Krile, since Allisae got her revamp in Stormblood when she went from arcanist to Redmage. Krile is the only one who hasn’t had a revamp yet.
Krile becoming a major character kind of implies a FF5 related expansion. It's been stated that whatever happens in 6.5 MSQ will be a big deal.
...we're playing with the idea of saving the 13th right now, but in order to restore balance to it, we'll have to bring it back to a state where it could be rejoined to the Source. Two worlds merging is a major plot point of FF5 isn't it? I wonder if that's where we're going.
Rejoining the 13th wouldn't save it though
I had this same thought. What if we do "fix" the 13th but that ends up accidentally triggering a Rejoining which, as we all know, comes with the price of a Calamity on the Source.
@@SociedadeDoRPG One, not saying a rejoining would be deliberate. But I think there's a reason the Ascians just stopped messing with the 13th after they screwed up.
Two... I think "rejoining" and "saving" could be thought of as similar depending on your point of view. For us, from the perspective of the Source, it's an obvious negative. But from the perspective of someone from the 13th? It'd be a relatively quick way to bring an end to unending life and chaos, and might restore humanity to the corrupted souls of that world. At the cost of life on the Source, but why would they care about that?
@@Willias If a rejoining happens, by definition, the 13th would be no more. One can argue that we would be saving the souls of those that inhabit the 13th, yes, and with that I would agree, but as you yourself pointed out, at what cost?
Unless we find a way to merge a shard with the source without needing a calamity, then what balance can we claim would be achieved?
