The ending of this movie destroyed me. It was so sad.
I think they have one of the most beautiful friendships in tv history.
They are always looking after each other and they got through everything together.
Btw how can the actors be so ridiculously handsome? haha

I know this movie got a lot of critics, and not historically accurate. But gosh, can everyone just stop for a sec to see the intensity and chemistry between this two guys? Josh and Ben really did a great job in this movie, but personally I like Josh's performance better. If he didnt play Danny's character that well, maybe I wouldnt really mind Danny died at the end. But, Josh's performance made me become a second man choice team for the first time in any triangle love story that ever exist. And I will never forgive Michael Bay for killing him that way so Evelyn and Rafe could be together.
Shame, he should be in more box office movie in Hollywood.

That was amazing. Absolutely the best fan made video I've ever seen. The editing was impressive you really have an eye for it. The clips go perfectly with the music and the combination of parallel scenes was beautiful. You have skills and I'm not just saying that, I have edited award - winning amateur films and have a basic understanding of the techniques. Bravo.

Got into it because my older sister was a huge fan and although we have huge differences now, I still watch Pearl Harbor all the time, reminiscing when all was good and we still loved each other.

I couldn't help but sympathise with Rafe more as he held Danny in his arms. Honestly, the love and bond between the two was so much deeper. I felt more for Rafe than I did with Evelyn.

Honestly think this movie would have been better if they had just stayed focused on the brotherhood these two shared and what it was like going to war with your brother knowing you could loose them at any moment instead of the cringy love triangle. Like I loved evelyn's character and how she showed how strong and important women were at the front lines as well but I wish they had just let her and rafe have their relationship without all the dumb extra drama that was lowkey unrealistic that way we could give proper attention to the real story about the war instead

I disliked Kate Beckinsale for a LONG time after this movie, and I NEVER looked at Ben Affleck with any sort of fondness ever again. My teenage self was completely heartbroken when Danny died, and I was smart enough back then to know that the only reason he was killed off was for the narrative of Rafe and Evelyn ending up together. As a Josh Hartnett-obsessed teen at the time, I was utterly enraged by the ending!
