Baker Ranch Agates from USA:
Hi guys, in this video I will talk about Baker Ranch Agates and what they are known for. This selection is extremely high quality and shows the best pieces I have.
In order that you also get the chance to buy some really high quality agates for your collections I decided to put some of these special agates on my website this week, so you can purchase some of the best agates. 😊

Another great video, Josh! Your dad certainly had one of the best Baker Ranch collections in the world.
I'm impressed Joshua. That is a fine collection. They are truly some of the finest Bakers I've seen.
😀💯
You are very fortunate to have such a fabulous collection. You are very knowledgeable. I'm sure your father is very proud of you. It sounds like you've carried on a family hobby and/or business. 😊
🤝🤝🤝 Lieber Freund, vielen Dank für das neue Video, das über die Vielfalt der mexikanischen Achate vorgestellt wurde.👍👍👍👍👍
Sensational agates
Woow, so beautiful agate...
You never cease to amaze me. Just awesome content! Thank you for sharing.
Wow those are all so beautiful
If anyone is ever in Deming, please visit the Geolapidary museum near Rockhound State Park. An old man named Christopher runs the shop and is also the current claim owner of the Baker Ranch Mine. He has piles of uncut material for sale for $4/lb. Cash only. I have cut some amazing specimens from there. He will appreciate your business as it has been very slow due to the extremely hot summer.
Wild prices, I’d take a hundred pounds or two.
I was lucky enough to get one of these. I cut it open and it has amazing red agate with shadow banding and a geode pocket. These are my favorite thunder eggs!
Fantastic!

Sublime ❤❤❤❤
I have purchased 600 pounds of rough eggs from this location. Many are Rhyolite nodules. I've only ever cut one egg that contains yellow in it, one with amethyst, several with black white red vesicle and lots with cinnamon bowl sparkle. The rarest is the Yellow and Stalactite eggs. Also I have recently been opening several eggs with blue in them.
I have a lot of bakers ranch uncut thundeggs, mostly smaller ones. Not too sure if I should sell them uncut or cut them myself!
Beautiful specimens! Would those be considered agate thundereggs? Due to the rhyolite bubbly exterior.
Yes. :)
They are all of a stunning beauty. How nice they were collected by your father, you shouldn’t sell them, only the ones you have in pair.
I bought the entire collection of my father with a total of several thousand pieces. A few hundred of them from this location. 😊
@@joshuaritter-agatebay You must have saved quite some money to buy a whole collection. I am too old to start a collection. Nobody in my family is interested. I got my lapidary saw machine 6 inches for the small stones. I have been practicing but it takes much more time than in the clips. But it’s very exciting. So, when I have more experience I will order some new stones. I will make something very nice with them. Perfect for wintertime. Greetings
Yes, I buy and sell many stones.. I bought several collections this year. 😊
I live near the area, its a shame that people mined them all. It should have been protected as a state park. Probably one of the only color agatized thundereggs in the world. Such collections should be given to public muesums near the area they were mined. They should not collect dust in some far away private international collection. Rockhound park probably has some nice agatized thundereggs but they protected the area.
They aren’t mined out, it’s just not economical anymore.
RockHounds is one of, if not the only state park in the country that you are allowed to remove rocks from. The museum in Deming has a large display from the Baker Ranch mine and most definitely worth checking out.
