Sorry to hear the mining operation didn't work out as you had hoped. "Partnerships" certainly can be difficult to keep things equal. Those agates you cut are spectacular as any I have seen. Joshua, may I suggest you put your new US based website as a link in the description of this video? I did go to the site, and it is not open as of the time I write this comment. A most interesting video story Joshua. Very well done! Thank you for sharing your adventure into the possibility of restarting the Dryhead Agate mine. Mining always requires all the stars to align before success, and most times, they don't. It takes a brave person to walk away from a bad financial investment, but you did so for the right reasons. If a partnership (of any kind) seems forced, best ask yourself if it's worth continuing with.

Wow, I am sorry to hear the Dryhead project did not work out. It is great to hear that you are able to bring a few tons of this material to market though. The pieces you cut in this video are lovely. I hope you did not throw away the scraps, it looked like there was good cab potential in the thin bits.

what makes an agate worth a lot of money? I finished cutting about 5 pounds of malawi agate nodules, just don't have a machine to polish them. Also where do you get your agate nodules from?
