@@504Byrdman The Gen 2 20 volt. I works like a champ. The trigger is variable or you can lock it on full blast. I actually like the attachment, it directs the air in a tighter pattern. I get just over 2 hours run time with a Flexvolt 6H. Great tool.
Excellent review! I was only interested in getting one for blowing down my truck after washing it and was hoping the smallest one would be the one. So when you highlighted the fact that it was, I was thrilled. I was using a gas powered DeWalt blower and it definitely wasn't working too well. Thanks!
Great review! I was looking at these blowers in the store and was torn between the power of the largest model and the balance and lightweight qualities of the gen 2. After seeing what the lighter and more ergonomic gen 2 can do I am getting that one for sure. Thanks for making this video showing the range of options in use. This video made my buying decision easy and I won't need to wonder if I made the right choice.
I had an el cheapo delux Black and Decker 20 volt because I had a trimmer with the same power type. It degraded badly after a few years of use. I bought this because I and our son have a lot of Dewalt power tools that use the same battery. It is a great blower and can use a 3Ahr battery that lasts for the 20 minutes or more we need for the lawn. In fact I have used the same battery three times and it still has 2 power bars left. The son is a big fan of the gasoline types which I am not. He says the blower is good and does the job as well as a gas type. The battery type my not have greater power but most people do not need it. I hate messing with the 2 cycle engines, the noise, the odor of burning gas and oil and buying the premixed fuel that they recommend. Again the 3Ahr rated battery works fine and it keeps weight down.
I got the gen 2 to blow out debris dust and dirt from semi trailers after every load. Saves time and work instead of having sweep out whole 53 foot trailer with a broom. Theres a lot of gaps in floor and does a great in blowing out debris leaving trailer nice and clean.
You can absolutely fit a 9.0 on the gen 1 20-volt. It's a bit tight and and take a little work to get it to fit, but the added run time far outweighs the time taken to get it to fit. If the one I use was actually mine I would take a file and remove a little of the case base to make the battery easier to fit, but even stock it is totally possible
I have job site model. Use it almost daily. Blow out the garage, shed, dry motorcycles, it can do job with leaves if patient. But, not so well if leaves get wrapped up in grass if just on top of grass N.P. I would like that 2nd gen blower to try.
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
Man thank you aaaalooot 🙌🙌🙌 , this is exactly what i needed. I have the gen 2 20v blower and i really needed to know if the flexvolt batteries fit the blower before i buy one of those batteries.
Great video man! I was looking for a video to compare all the De-Walt leaf blowers because I own dewalt drills with 20v batteries but was looking for a leaf blower to blow water off my car at the wash bay because I don't want to put my 2 stroke gas Husqvarna blower in my car and risk it falling over and leaking fuel. And when you wipped out the jobsite blower on the Camaro I was blown away! Because I have a 5th gen LT/RS for my daily driver and a 2018 Hyper Blue ZL 1 for weekend fun. I thought that was awesome. Looks like im buying the jobsite one lol. Nice ride BTW! I subscribed to your channel. Cheers 🍻 💯👊😎
Hey FYI the 9.0AH batteries DO fit in the gen 1 blower. My mom has the gen 1 that I gave her when I upgraded to the gen 2 and I bought her a set of 9.0AH batteries for christmas not knowing they might not fit. Just asked her and she said they DO fit, but its super tight fit
I’ve been using the GEN 2 one. One drawback to it is the fan is in the very back so it sucks your T-shirt up against it. You have to hold it away from your body which is kind of annoying. That 60 V one with the battery in the rear would prevent that. I also noticed the gray tip on the GEN two makes it much quieter on the ears for some reason.
Which of the non jobsite ones would you suggest for car drying? I was thinking just going all out with the 60v one but the nozzle looks to be pretty wide at the tip, not sure how much that will affect it. Thoughts? Great content sir!
Would you say the small jobsite blower would be good enough for clearing out some grass clippings and small patches of leaves? We don't have much grass around here but sweeping up after mowing is getting very tiring for my back so looking for something small and compact. I like how the small one would be more versatile in and around the workshop due to it's smaller size.
Nope don’t get it, it’s an amazing blower and we use it all the time around the house and the job site but you will find a lot that you need a bigger, stronger blower! If you don’t NEED a bigass blower then get the gen 2 (20v)
Great review !! Can you help me understand the power difference between the 20v and the 60v on the big guys? Will the big ones run on the 20v as well as the 60v? Why would I use the 60v? Thanks for the awesome review - very helpful !!!
Great video, 👍🏼 Just what I was looking for. will there be a future video of flexvolt battery runtime? Comparing 6.0ah, 9.0ah and the new 12.0ah flexvolt batteries on all blowers would be nice. Thanks 👍🏼
9ah and 12ah batteries are the way to go. I got the 9ah on sale for 150 and 12ah on sale 229. lasts about 25 min on gen 2. 60v blower 12 min. not worth it. its not that much stronger. Dewalt is coming out this fall with a15ah battery for fresking 300 dollars
On your last video I just got one as a gift and but I want to change the color of it but I noticed how u said how it something about the command center how do you get to the command center
Is there a difference in power on the 20v Gen 2 with any difference size battery? For example, I run a 20v 5ah on mine but wondering if it's worth getting a 60v battery? Or is it just run time differences ?
I have the gen 2 20v blower. it gets slighter higher numbers with nozzle attached but area is smaller. I've been really really wanting the 60vblower but the run time sucks bad 9ah battery 12 min , 12ah battery about 15/20 mins and at 229 and 259 dollars per battery its not worth it. it now comes with a3ah laughable battery and you can't use 20v batteries on it. I use 5ah ,9ah and 12ah on my gen 2 20v for long long run time.
Well that sucks, my local Home Depot is ripping us off in a really bad way... they are charging $269 for the Gen 2 60 Volt with a 3 AH battery... they don't even offer the 9 Ah battery.
You should do a video with the 60v blower with the new 12.0 battery I really wanna know if it’s worth it if I could get another 5-10 minutes in the blower I would have absolutely no complaints. Edit: 4:56 porn?

What I want to know is why you have 5 leaf blowers
You know how people always buying the latest iPhone? Same thing in the leaf industry 👀

You covered everything that I was questioning.
Keep up the good reviews man.
Very thorough review. I should be receiving the GEN 1 blower combo kit in the mail any day now.
thank u for taking the time to go through all the models very helpful
I removed the battery bracket and ran the GEN one blower with my 15 amp. No problem been doing it for years. works great.

HIGH QUALITY INFORMATION thank you sir. Exactly what I needed to know
Get some audio equipment and you’re golden

I’m going with your personal favorite.

I use the little job site to clean the rain gutters on my house and to clean vacuum cleaner filters.
Same model I got Gen II, I use 9.0ah flexvolt battery and its powerful that can even blow a 5-10 cm of fresh snow.
So does the size of the battery justify more power? I use a 20v 5ah, will the 60v Flex battery give me more power on the Gen 2 ?
Sold!!! Lol 😂

Great video, very informative, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for a good video. This really helped me decide which blower to buy.
Thanks brother very informative video it’s greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
I fit the nine in the gen 1 blower you just got fuck with it
It will fit in the gen 1 if you shave a bit of material off the sides of the blower. 😅 I only use flexvolt in mine

Haven't even really had the need for bigger.
I just borrowed a gen2 20v and ran it with my flexvolt 6ah batteries. Poor run time. I'd assume the 60v would last longer.
I believe the tip is for scraping wet leaves and harder debris.
I put the 9amp in mine it's tight but it fits
The 9.0 can fit in the first gen you have to go from the top down
Nice review man
Good for blowing snow?
lol, i manage to put a 12ah flexvolt in the gen 1 easily, taking it out was the ownly problem.
The 12 ah and 9ah do fit I use them all the time

You going to do one on string trimmers ??????????????
