Yes, but keep in mind some 12Ah batteries say PROFACTOR EXCLUSIVE. If that's the case just cut the small nub on the top back with a razor knife or a dremel and you're good to go

Not much in it. Certainly not enough in my opinion to warrant the cost of a 12ah battery - which I've heard stories of it thermally overloading much like the 9ah did

The size battery isn't everything, while it does play a role in a tools performance - most of how well a cordless tool performs has to do with the motor and how the manufacturer tweaked it to perform. For example, the 12.0 doesn't make the brushed motor sawzall perform the same as the super sawzall, does it? It doesn't because the battery isn't everything.
That plus the Bosch even with a 6.3ah battery did better than the brushed motor sawzall with a larger capacity battery and held up pretty well against the super sawzall.
Battery size has more to do with runtime capacity, think of the battery simply as a gas tank.

Tool Craze You've completely misrepresented what I've said.

How so? My video is regards performance between the tools only and your comment regarding battery size is very vague which leads anyone to think you are commenting about battery size vs performance. Please clarify if that was not your intent.

Tool Craze no my comment regards battery cost. Not sure if you're a tradesman or a garage cowboy but when I buy tools I have to keep in mind the probability of them being profitable otherwise they're a cost and it shows little benefit; so if I had the Bosch and 6.3 (I have some of the newer 7s), I wouldn't be rushing out to upgrade.

thanks for clarifying, yeah it doesn't always make sense to upgrade everytime they come out with a new battery for the sake of slightly better runtime and other minor improvements unless you actually need a new battery
going back to your original comment, the day I tested both tools, the Bosch and the Milwaukee, it was super hot that day, triple digits! Anyways the point is that the 12.0 dealt with the heat much better and under the same tests was considerably cooler than the core battery. Of course I was pushing both tools as I do when I test them and the day was super hot so I don't blame the core battery for being so hot but the 12.0 took the heat like a champ. Could be partly due to the newer cells but in my opinion has more to do with the amount of cells in a battery, batteries with less cells heat up quicker. Try putting a compact 5 cell battery in a high demand tool and it will be rendered temporarily useless within minutes due to the heat build up, however 10 celled batteries fare better and these 15 cell monsters better of course. I believe it's due to power draw divided by more cells translates to each cell getting taxed less.

The Bosch won the pipe cutting, it's not looking too good for Milwaukee, I've seen the new circular saw go up against Dewalt rear handle saw and get blown away and used the 6amp battery well 2amp in 60v and I'm pretty sure the 60v sidewinder is more powerful too and 2lbs lighter, I'm waiting to see 60v dewalt chainsaw vs milwaukee 18v chainsaw from watching videos of both the Dewalt looks more powerful and their new drills are nothing to write home about I'm hearing they're are overheating, there was no need for them to make new drills and impact driver

Milwaukee is a marketing company first and foremost IMO... For one, look at the boxes their products come in, full of numbers and claims that it's better then this drill or that drill, 2x faster, 5x smaller, 16x more Red... And people really like too eat that up... I'll buy my plain yellow box stuff
2nd Look at the deals steadily at Home Depot, Acme tools with free tools and batteries, that's hard too sustain and only way they get away with it as much as they do because they are 95% Chinese owned and made... No other tool company offers deals and free stuff like they do.
3 UA-cam and social media, they are basically trying to take over every construction, garage or DIY channel by giving away free tools looking for good reviews on products. Sure, DeWalt, Bosch etc all do it but not at the rate Milwaukee does. They are a marketing company that would love to sell ice too Eskimos but I see through it and refuse to buy their tools. Lots of channels like workshop addict, Vinny and the boys at VCG construction, Javier here among others too me are pretty good and you can actually trust them... Most others, not so much
