When I purchased said kit in my first packout it was the exact price of the non packout kit sells for now. It has a fitted insert in it (not foam that can be taken out if you want to change it up). I guarantee the packout cost them pennies extra to make. Im not a contractor (im a diy truck driver), I found it so easy to move my tools around in it I invested in some boxes etc.
They should all be pack out but I just throw my cases in the back of the work van in a way that everything has its place. I do have a purpose for A case but it doesn't matter what it's function is.
They should include packout cases with tools like this. I bought my first drill/impact kit in a packout case. And from there everything I buy I try and get packout. Makes moving equipment around alot easier! That one box made me buy the rest of the packout system
Just got mine yesterday... Cut some wood pallets and I have to say... Omg it's way easier/safer/faster than with my M18 chainsaw! A hell of a lot Less maintenance too. I'm Lovin it!
Agree making tool cases packout ! My wife and both our sons see the versatility in packout system. So many uses. Buying packout system for the wife, to hold all her household tools(M12 tools) . Also agree that both charging voltages would be great on charging units. No brainer! We use a lot of cordless tools , for yard work and just home maintenance. Milwaukee is the Bomb !!!
This is; Ironworker Doug here; and I believe that you need, to work for Milwaukee for sure!! You have all the answers .!!! Wake up 🆙 Milwaukee you have a good man here!!!!
Been using my 50th anniversary super Sawzall for almost 20 years of heavy use and it's still running as strong as it did on day one. It's a conflicting decision because these new battery powered Sawzalls are convenient to use but I sort of like the idea of using my old reliable for the next 30 years
Notice the vibration the battery makes while attached to the tool? Milwaukee needs to improve the clip on clip off battery system. Over time this becomes an issue as I have to remove the battery and clip it back on to the tool for it to work. I have also replaced batteries and tools and continue to have similar problems. Milwaukee makes the best tools in the market. By far the best. Their battery clip on system not so much.
Oh the good old days of cords, allen keys, and aluminum housings on power tools with out electrical grounds in the rain LOL !!!!!! Yaaaa I remember those days LOL 😆. Power tools have come a very long way.
I kind of prefer the hard case it fits in my job box better because it slides in and out doesn't have the pack out bumps to get caught on things. An option to pick what you want if you order online would be the best of both worlds.
Absolutely correct Vince! All hard cases should be packout, and m12 kits should come with the multi charger. I don't think I'll buy the kit, but I might get the bare tool.
Slammed the 179$ Packout deal today. Literally walked into them unloading them, went to grab a few items, came back and one set left. Took it of course
Yes on both counts. Should have pack out to introduce users to pack out. I have tough system and am looking at picking up this Sawzall. Same on chargers you want users to have reasons to have both battery platforms so have the multi charger.
I like the new blade latching system, the shoe adjustment is nice, and there metal lined battery socket are all improvements in my mind. The anti-corrosion chuck isn't a huge deal for me but I can see where it would be nice. I still use my older sawzalls (corded one circa 1994 and original M18) but the time is ripe for a fuel model on my service truck and I think this one is probably the one I'm getting. The multi-volt chargers in the M12 kits would be nice but wouldn't be a deal breaker for me personally. I haven't ventured into the packout systems but I have been looking at them and I think it's just a matter of tone before I jump in.
I was anti packout until I bought an m18 impact kit with an included packout. Flash forward to the packout glitch day two weeks later and I got the wheeled box for 59$! Now I want to keep my collection going!
@VCG Construction. Thanks Vince for the video. Yeah Vince. I agree with you that Milwaukee should ditch the M12 charger and only include the M12/M18 multivolt charger with all their cordless tools. I also agree with you that if Milwaukee is going to kit a tool in a hard case then it should be a PACKOUT. In both cases, they'd be trying to get us to buy (add) M18 tools if we started with M12 and to buy more PACKOUT cases to expand tool and parts storage. But I guess Milwaukee can source blow mold cases anywhere but PACKOUT and all the cases like it (Dewalt TOUGHSYSTEM and Ridgid) are all made by a company in Israel. Should be able to meet demand. Wow. The recip saw has BOTH a articulating head and it's adjustable? One of the few that has both. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
GO Vince! I'd like to see how that goes up against the Dewalt. [I hear Nick in the back, tell'em Nick!] I had a chance to use "Big Yellow" and was actually embarrassed by how many SPM(strokes per minutes) that thing had. VERY BEASTLY! Make my poor 2721 look bad 😢
Milwaukee is the best pure and simple. I love the cases; but your idea of making the cases pack out is business gold; they should give you guys a cut if they start doing it. I don’t know any packout because the lack of necessity, but if they substituted the awesome hard cases for pack out cases I would honestly invest in the pack out system.
Both are valid points. If i had gotten a multi-volt charger with my m12 stuff it’d be another open spot for my coworkers to charge up their stuff. i’m a 20v dewalt/12v milwaukee user. I like the idea that the dewalt stuff is only offered with the dual charger
100% agree that the new cases should be Packout. I still have my Super Sawzall and it works great. I do not know if I would like to update? Thanks Vince.
I’m glad the hammer drill and impact came with a pack out. Such a steal since they don’t sell it at the stores with pack out anymore. Now I have 5 different pack outs. Congrats Milwaukee you got probably more than 1200from me this year
I totally agree that all Millwaukee M18 or M12 tools should come in a packout. Just like I believe selling the rolling base tool box at $59 was a great idea to get people into the packout system.
I think i understand the case they are including because that is targeted towards tradesmen that are more likely to buy that kit alone and not have a reason to invest in a storage system like packout. I would like to request a heads up between this and the 2722-20 Fuel Super Sawzall.
Not only the packaging should be a pack out but also some kind of label on the sides so you know what tools in it. Some of us have a few more than just one tool
Definitely all packout hard cases. Like you said it’s incentive. And why they have an m12 charger only beats me. Can’t tell you how many times I wanted to get into the m18 line and wished my three chargers were dual voltage.
Even if it isn't designed to the same ruggedness, it should at least work with the Packout kits as far as the clips and being able to lock it on to the kits. I need a Packout kit, just haven't invested the money yet.
So yes they could only make one style of charger the Multi volt one. And most likely save money in long run from only having one charger. As far as the cases I agree they could make it attach to the pack out without using the thicker plastic that’s in pack out now. Just simple add the attachment part to existing thinner cases that give you best of both worlds keeps tool cost down because it’s not a full pack out case but it’s attachable
One thing you keep saying is Milwaukee listens to the customer, but they aren’t paying attention to the dual charger suggestion. Maybe they will take the suggestion to make their cases Packout compatible.
They had the same blade release on the non super sawzall 27 series I like it and this one has some good upgrades my 27 series still is in good shape so I won't rush out and get one but I think I can safely recommend this to someone.
At least you can buy aftermarket packout feet and clamps and mod the case yourself... But yeah, they should make all their cases packout compatible - it would drive more people to that line.
I wish the fuel hammer drill and gen 3 impact came in a packout instead of a blowmolded case yes. this would be their opportunity to set the standard because dewalt does not put their tools in tough systems.
Hey I've heard one complaint about the milwaukee m18 fan; that it holds batteries way too tight, I actually have experienced this with mine. Any reviews or thoughts?
Milwaukee please put this kit in a pack out box. The sawzall deserves it. It’s the king in its class. Stop putting these 18650 batteries. These sawzall need the HO batteries
Nice videos! Good info! The advertised performance on the tools that can utilize the latest m18 high output batteries. ie, the latest sawzaw, 1/2 high torque impact wrench and the latest gen 2 mid torque wrenchs that just released. Does the performance/impacts improved using high output batteries? I noticed milwaukee's promo pics shows using the xc5.0 at that performance or impacts on the adds. I also saw your review about the xc 5.0 and the high output 3.0 dated few years ago, I believe.
Totally agree with the charger thing. Why even offer the 12 volt only? The other thing that bugs me is with the heated gear. When you get the jacket you get the adapter with a USB out when you get the sweatshirt you get the adapter with no USB out. Why why why just offer the better one, be real Milwaukee be the best.
@vcg I would love the cases to be packout, but then that is one less packout they get to sell the customer. If everything came packout, then why would people need to buy packout boxes for the most part? I am sure the packouts are more expensive to make, they are a more intricate mold and probably a better grade of materials. I think a good compromise is to make a new release "special edition" kit that comes with a packout, and maybe a better battery. Sell it at a slightly higher price and get people in on buying tools at release at full price instead of waiting for deals. Also, I like the idea of the holiday offerings with packout cases, hopefully they expand that in the future. Keep up the great work Vince!!!
Nice how does the vibration feel on your hands and arms because it's lighter sometimes when they make tools lighter you feel it more through the tool that if it was heavier😎👍👊🇺🇸🇮🇹
Go back to an Allen key, are you mad; NEVER! 😂 Like the new blade change, & adjustable shoe, great. Did job before sick & covid & was cutting out 4x4 & 6x6 treated posts for fencing etc...& was a rainy muddy mess. Cleaning the saw up afterwards was a pain; too bad didn’t have this back than. Wonder if they’d be able to put to LED lights on the saw (or if that would be worse 🤔), anyways....good looking & think might be finally time to upgrade as been few years. I REALLY like when Milwaukee gives hard cases w/ their tools, but yeah, imagine if they were a special designed hard case....to use WITH Packout. That would be COOL. Also, yeppers, the rapid charger should be the standard, & the normal dual charger (m12/m18) needs to go bye bye; as kinda doesn’t make sense, imo. Thx Vince, Nick✌🏼
Yes packout cases yes I like the blade lock much better than the old style I love the recip saw I have a DeWalt compact and a Milwaukee M12 hacksaw damn do we really need so many variations of recip saws ? Me yes I do … Thanks Vince I know this was an older video but I’m just now seeing it … Work before videos
Yes all hard cases should be packout. I got into packout because of buying the drill/impact set with it. They'll learn.
Why? That's not a smart business decision... It's all about making money...
I disagree I like the hard case the way it is
When I purchased said kit in my first packout it was the exact price of the non packout kit sells for now. It has a fitted insert in it (not foam that can be taken out if you want to change it up). I guarantee the packout cost them pennies extra to make. Im not a contractor (im a diy truck driver), I found it so easy to move my tools around in it I invested in some boxes etc.
@@ICheat_ILie_ISteal that's what I was thinking too
I’ll bet flex does it bc they do everything Milwaukee should be !
Every tool that comes in a hard box like that should automatically be a packout. I doubt most have any use for the standard hard case.
They should all be pack out but I just throw my cases in the back of the work van in a way that everything has its place. I do have a purpose for A case but it doesn't matter what it's function is.
I like my hard cases!! 🤣
They should include packout cases with tools like this. I bought my first drill/impact kit in a packout case. And from there everything I buy I try and get packout. Makes moving equipment around alot easier! That one box made me buy the rest of the packout system
Definitely make the hard case a pack out case. Small details that would kill the game. Solute to you Vince!! My man!! 👍🏽✊🏽✌🏽
Just got mine yesterday... Cut some wood pallets and I have to say... Omg it's way easier/safer/faster than with my M18 chainsaw! A hell of a lot Less maintenance too. I'm Lovin it!

This is; Ironworker Doug here; and I believe that you need, to work for Milwaukee for sure!! You have all the answers .!!! Wake up 🆙 Milwaukee you have a good man here!!!!
Vince and his hate for the M12 charger kills me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have 4 of them that I never use.
Been using my 50th anniversary super Sawzall for almost 20 years of heavy use and it's still running as strong as it did on day one. It's a conflicting decision because these new battery powered Sawzalls are convenient to use but I sort of like the idea of using my old reliable for the next 30 years
Definitely that should’ve came as a PackOut Kit ! To fancy for me I’m sticking to my M12 🧰 tools
Notice the vibration the battery makes while attached to the tool?
Milwaukee needs to improve the clip on clip off battery system. Over time this becomes an issue as I have to remove the battery and clip it back on to the tool for it to work.

I don't think I'll buy the kit, but I might get the bare tool.
I’m glad they finally addressed the blade locking mechanism. As a plumber that was my biggest complaint about the first gen.
Appreciate you, Vince. Always learn so much from your videos.
Thanks Richard, glad they’re helpful
I cut the inside of the hard case for my hammer and impact and shoved it into the large packout toolbox. Fits tight and holds my drills nicely

I agree, make the hard case into a Packout. I've been saying this for awhile now, at least let it get in the grooves.
100% agree with the packout call its a no brainer
GO Vince!
I'd like to see how that goes up against the Dewalt.
[I hear Nick in the back, tell'em Nick!]
I had a chance to use "Big Yellow" and was actually embarrassed by how many SPM(strokes per minutes) that thing had.

Yes! And if not the packout small box at least directly packout compatible!
your videos just keep getting better and better
I definitely agree with both!!!!!!!!! Are u listening MILWAUKEE dual charger and packout box
Both are valid points.
If i had gotten a multi-volt charger with my m12 stuff it’d be another open spot for my coworkers to charge up their stuff. i’m a 20v dewalt/12v milwaukee user. I like the idea that the dewalt stuff is only offered with the dual charger
Yo Vince I’m only fourteen but I love watching your videos huge fan of you and Milwaukee keep up the great videos
Awesome Qwade! Thank you!
100% agree that the new cases should be Packout. I still have my Super Sawzall and it works great. I do not know if I would like to update? Thanks Vince.
Yes on the packout and yes on the charger.
Agree with the Packout idea
Yes to both suggestions. multi-volt charger and pack out compatible box. JUST MAKES SENSE!
I’m glad the hammer drill and impact came with a pack out. Such a steal since they don’t sell it at the stores with pack out anymore. Now I have 5 different pack outs. Congrats Milwaukee you got probably more than 1200from me this year
I wish the M12 tools just came with a smaller multivolt charger. I know it would have to be slower but It would help free up some room in my tool bag
I would like the cases to be packout. And all charges should do both 12 and 18 batteries
I totally agree that all Millwaukee M18 or M12 tools should come in a packout. Just like I believe selling the rolling base tool box at $59 was a great idea to get people into the packout system.

Agree with case and charger suggestion.
I agree hard cases should be pack out. It’s a win win for Milwaukee
I agree if they made them packout i would definitely buy more and yes definitely make their chargers multivolt
Hell Yes if Milwaukee offers any combo kit in a hard case. They should start including them in a packout case. It just makes sense to me.
Yeah Pack out case would be good and I don’t miss the Allen key to tighten up the blade. The lever is fine for me
Yesssss allllll hard cases should be a packout! 💯
Make all cases pack out from now on...
Either should come in a packout case, or inside the hard case should be a foam insert that fits one of the standard packout cases.
i like the dewalt chuck that you can put the blade in vertical and horizontal like the DWE305
Even if it isn't designed to the same ruggedness, it should at least work with the Packout kits as far as the clips and being able to lock it on to the kits. I need a Packout kit, just haven't invested the money yet.
Best tool reviewer
Yes they should be packout! Maybe add a couple of compartments to them. I'd buy them more often.
So yes they could only make one style of charger the Multi volt one. And most likely save money in long run from only having one charger. As far as the cases I agree they could make it attach to the pack out without using the thicker plastic that’s in pack out now. Just simple add the attachment part to existing thinner cases that give you best of both worlds keeps tool cost down because it’s not a full pack out case but it’s attachable
yesterday i just sold my 3 HD boxes fuel power tools just to have some money to buy a packout one. I wish they sell it with packout boxes.
One thing you keep saying is Milwaukee listens to the customer, but they aren’t paying attention to the dual charger suggestion. Maybe they will take the suggestion to make their cases Packout compatible.
Should make video over batteries adaptors where you can buy adaptors for exp DeWalt and use Milwaukee battery ... So awesome
Happy Wednesday Evening, VCG and the Gang! Keep up the great work!👍🧰👍😍
This guy cracks me up.
All new m18 fuel tools from here on should come in a packout kit option. its a no brainer
Are you keeping the shoe away from the wood when you’re cutting??
why did 17 people dislike this? Crazy people they are
Had the super but was too cumbersome for me went with the fuel sawzall love it!
Think I'm gonna make the jump, I have the corded 360 orbital Super sawzall, but I'd like a cordless version of this fantastic tool, thanks Vince😎👍
VCG absolutely needs to be in a packout that would make them stand out from all the competition even more
Yes
Yes, multi voltage chargers only, yes packout!!! But something to think about, what if they offered a shoe with bucking spikes??? Not standard but?
Holding out on tools seems to be better than I thought.
Milwaukee please put this kit in a pack out box. The sawzall deserves it. It’s the king in its class. Stop putting these 18650 batteries. These sawzall need the HO batteries
Yes I agree they should be made for packout
Amen! Make them carry cases Packout capable!!!
Yes all cases should be pack out compatable and make every charger a dual one

@vcgconstruction - Is the M18 2821-20 stronger/faster than Flex 24v sawzall for wood demolition?
I AGREE!!!!! on BOTH points!!!!
Yes and Yes. nuff said.

Nice how does the vibration feel on your hands and arms because it's lighter sometimes when they make tools lighter you feel it more through the tool that if it was heavier😎👍👊🇺🇸🇮🇹
How is it possible that the M18 hackzall fuel also has 1 1/4 of stroke and 3000 spm like this bigger sawzall?
I wonder if i have this sawall with ho batery the super sawall worth buying ?
Yes, to both the case and charger.
What if they just made the blow mold cases like that with removable inserts for the tool that you can pop out and put into a PackOut if you wanted. 🤷
Packout for sure 👍🏼
Put it up again the Kobalt xtr recip saw 🤟
Go back to an Allen key, are you mad; NEVER! 😂 Like the new blade change, & adjustable shoe, great. Did job before sick & covid & was cutting out 4x4 & 6x6 treated posts for fencing etc...& was a rainy muddy mess. Cleaning the saw up afterwards was a pain; too bad didn’t have this back than. Also, yeppers, the rapid charger should be the standard, & the normal dual charger (m12/m18) needs to go bye bye; as kinda doesn’t make sense, imo.
Thx Vince, Nick✌🏼
hey is gen II better then the supersawzall
Packout definitely
Yes absolutely
Yes packout cases yes I like the blade lock much better than the old style I love the recip saw I have a DeWalt compact and a Milwaukee M12 hacksaw damn do we really need so many variations of recip saws ? Me yes I do …
Thanks Vince I know this was an older video but I’m just now seeing it … Work before videos
Are the product nrs from the states different then in Europe?
Great video vcg construction my question is what blade brand do you guys use the most
Diabolo i guess
Have you guys seen the new knife they came out with? It's awesome!
Test it vs the Kobalt XTR recip saw. Based on specs the Kobalt should just be quicker, but as always there is more to a tool than power and specs.
I’m in the market for a new recip saw I’m torn between the new fuel and the super sawzall
