Wendys in our town is bland and uninteresting. I don't actually know how they survive. In and Out is always very good, but the best burgers here are from the local small restaurants. I am particularly fond of Ortega burgers. A-Town Grill makes them just right.

I only had Wendy's once in the UK, but my experience of it was great. I felt like it was "fresh" fast food for a reasonable price. Easily my favourite fast food burger in the UK

Yes!!! They were the first to have a spicy chicken sandwich with a real chicken breast. When their spicy chicken sandwich first came out in the early 2000’s I used to buy it at least twice a week for lunch!
Farr cheaper than Five Guys and slightly cheaper than Burger King. Just slightly more than McDonalds. Personally I find it to be pretty good value for a fast food burger, but that's more due to how bad in value most fast food burgers are.

Wendys is consistently solid food, not amazing but never bad. Plus they have some amazing value items on their menu (JBC ftw). Honestly pretty attached to their spicy chicken wraps lately.
It's one of the few fast food places I will eat. I knew many kids in college who worked at every fast food place. They said that Wendy's was the best one. They get in a fresh shipment of meat every day. And whatever hamburger meat they don't sell goes into the chili.
The only thing i seem to remember from Wendys when I tried it as a 6 year old in 1999 is a school lunch looking tray with corn bread, beans and thats all that comes to mind. Am I completely making that up?😂
Your right, not all are the same. The burgers are no longer as fresh as they once were and they are not gourmet. All fast food here seems to be falling to the cheap, flavorless wayside in the US, at least the east coast. So disappointing.
Wendys is pretty consistent wherever you go. Nothing to write home about but decent enough. Try the chicken nuggets!

Fresh, never frozen meat. meaning, all the beef is locally sourced from regional or even local farmers. You can taste the difference!
