I'm Indonesian but used to live in the US. Indomie was my go to ramen. I tried brands common in Walmart/Kroger but never like it. I use to get it from Asian Store near my apt. They had many kinds of flavor, but not as much as in Indonesia (obviously) and they also sell chillies like home so I can cook it just like at home.
Neng you are right about the different flavors in the U.S. grocery store. I only found 3 flavors at Kroger, but now I know where to go in a pinch. Hong Kong Food was the palace to go in Houston, until they didn't have it anymore. Now I will go to H Mart in Katy when I need more Indomie. Thanks for your comment 😇.
Thank you for subscribing to my channel. Like I said a friend of mine from Indonesia recommended Indomie noodles and I just loved them when I tried them. She also told me how to make fried bananas, but that didn't work out for me 🤭 I didn't cook them right. The noodles were easy 🤭

I love Indomie noodles! I add a tablespoon of olive oil and a half teaspoon of sesame seed oil, and a teaspoon of coconut aminos which are sweet and delicious. Try it! Please upload more cooking videos!

Step to cook proper Indomie goreng. Open seasoning,sauce and oil,put it to bowl,mixed it together until it form a PASTE. Boil the water,until it really boils. The volume of the water,should be not too much,enough to submerge the noodles. When it boils,put the noodles in.you could add egg,or any meat. You could drain the water or not. If the amount of water is just right,you don't need to drain it at all,and the egg or meat should be properly cooked. Your noodle and egg and meat is set. Put it in the bowl you prepared the paste earlier. Mixed it up. The Indomie is ready.
The egg,meat or veggies are optional. Its just to add more kick. Indomie,same with another brand,contains too much salt.itvis dangerous in the long run for your blood pressure. By adding more ingridients,perhaps it could add more nutritional value.not just salt.
Indomie Mi Goreng is one of my favorite noodle of Indonesia. It is fried noodle. You have to try Indomie Soto Ayam. A kind of broth noodle as soup noodle. It's so delicious too, sir

I always think how strange the way people outside of indonesia cook instant noodles, because in indonesia i never see anyone put the noodles inside of the bowl, usually we just put the seasonings inside of the bowl and cook the indomie separately on a pot of boiling water to prevent slimy noodles, i'm gonna try cooking it like u did to see if it tastes better
You have a very good point Dexalium I use this method because the first noodles I tried in 1971, I was in Korea and we had to make them in our barracks on a pot belly stove that provided heat for the room. I had to put water in my canteen cup to boil them. But since I did these videos I see lots of people do it the way you describe. Thank you for your comment I appreciate it. 😇
Sir, for Indomie fried noodles the way to make it is to boil the noodles first, then drain the water, then add the spices to it. what I see is that you put the seasoning together with water and put it straight into the microwave, and that's a bit wrong

Then I take them out and add the sauce and flavorings. Then I out that back in the microwave for 30sec. When I try the pho I will add more water as it's a soup base.
those are some pretty good noodles! They come in many different flavors, but regular is the best. Kroger always seems to carry them in the Asian foods section. (never seen them at Walmart either)...if you happen to have an asian market nearby, They have more variety of ramen. If you DO go to an asian market and find yourself in the ramen section, i highly suggest you look for MAMA brand "Beef Stew Noodles"...if you love the indomie, then this flavor is right there with it.

Wow I didn't know that, I never saw Indonesians eat noodles. It was an assumption on my part because all the people I saw eating them used chopsticks. 🤭
@@donquinn1343 Indonesia is in Asia, so alot of people assume the same. But we rarely use chopsticks. Also we don't slurp noodles. Stalls/Restaurants that sell Chinese style dish is the only place you can expect chopsticks readily available here in Indonesia, and still there will be spoons and forks too.

I've been to indo twice and they love their ramen noodles sometime they put raw chili in it

i dont think you're supposed to "brew" the ramen with hot water. I recommend cooking it for a better noodle texture instead.
