Maono sounds like it would be good for those meditating/narating stuff, and fifine sounds like podcast/voice over sound, i prefer fifine since sound is more warm and deeper, design for maono
I would like to use the mic I would buy in audio mixing. The Maono pd200x has boosted high frequency which is very fatiguing as for fifine it has balance bass and mid and kinda boosted highs
Right now where I’m at, I can get the Maono for $40, but the Fifine is $75. I prefer the Fifine sound, but that price difference seems like a no brainer…
Hi, I really liked your chart! But even after watching it, I can't decide, help! Should I buy Fifine am8 or maona pd200x? or fifine k688?? I'm not a youtuber, I just need a good dynamic microphone.
Hi sir, in comparison for both mics, which mic is better when it comes to picking up the bass? Like for example if I have Janno Gibbs voice, would it be able to produce that kind of output? Looking forward to your answer sir. Thanks!
Definitely the Fifine po. although maono has mixing software on its own which you can tweak, boosted high frequency are fatiguing in long term use. Kapag tumatagal masakit sa tenga. Fifine has a balanced freq in lows, mids and a little bit in highs, a better choice for long term usage. I'd pick fifine over maono personally. pero kung meron kang budget, go for pd400x. check out his review of the pd400x sobrang ganda ng features.
Yes, but you need an audio interface with preamps that provide similar gain and low-noise performance as a Cloudlifter. The Motu M2, SSL2, SSL2+, and Audient ID14 all provide effectively equal levels of the performance as an interface + cloudlifter. You may want to look into the Shure SM7db as well, as it essentially has a built in cloudlifter.
@@SaudArif-te6kq yes I am using usb cable for now after I gain 1k Subscribers I will switch to XLR. because it needs a amplifier that is expensive 😭 therefore
I finally got the PD200X Thanks for the in-depth you did last year
this part about the mqono software that it "improves your audio in real time" sold me.
The Maono sounds super nasal, it's like the voice the "Well actually" emoji would have.
🤓
I love the soft round sound of the K688 🥰 so soothing. Would be a perfect microphone for late podcasting live and asmr.
Thank you for your video. I got the MAONO PD200X. It is such a fantastic product for me~
I will choose PD200X over fifine when it comes to cover song recordings. But for conference and content creation use, Fifine will be more preferable!

Hi, Dave! Thank you so much for your reviews. I finally got the K688 last December and it was your reviews that helped me decide. A big fan, btw!
Thank you for the kind words! Hope you like the mic!
Planning to upgrade from the bundle mic of maonocaster ame2 which is the AU PM360s condenser microphone. Will definitely get the PD200x.
Which mic can you recommend for recording vocals?

200X or K688 for podcast?
is the sm7b usable without any audio interface and cloudlifter? and how does it sound?

Can we use pd200x with iphone/Android???
Yes, for recent iPhone has lightning port, use lightning to USB type C adaptor
Love your style
Can i connect fifinek688 directly to my Samsung ultra 22 phone and record ??
It works with other USB C phones but can’t guarantee it’ll work with your specific model.
would you recommend the fifine k668 if i won’t use it with an audio interface? i don’t want to invest on one just yet 😭
Yes! Still great in USB mode.
@@DaveSoltura thanks for the input, just got it from shopee for like 2200php lol insane deal
I HAVE PD200X. IT IS BEST FOR GAMING CHANNEL ❤ BUT FIFINE K688 IS GOOD FOR PODCASTS ❤
