Dear Dr, I really appreciate that you took the time and effort to share generously here. Time after time, you put out videos that benefit caregivers and care-receivers. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Im addicted to your videos. It helps me so much
I am so glad you are here.
Doc Snipes, your info has been really helpful for me. I recently started working with an extremely emotionally intelligent securely attached 4yo whose older sister is has really struggled with emotional regulation, and sensory issues. The young one seems to be really struggling with the way her older sibling acts, particularly the harsh way her sister treats her. It’s a similar pattern I’ve seen in other family/friends. I saw a video about caregivers but what about family members that aren’t in caregiver positions?
I would really love to know what a healthy dynamic can be when one or more people have an illness in a family? Especially in young kids. How can family members of people with chronic illnesses/disabilities etc. best support the needs of everyone? What boundaries are reasonable? How can the person who seemingly needs more resources/time give back to their family in a way that works for them? How can we support our loved ones who are caregivers?
All excellent questions. I will work on answering some of these in upcoming videos

Self Esteem should come form their knowledge and faith in God! Any other self esteem is NOT self esteem it is ignorant self centered-ness! Self confidence also comes in the knowledge that God created you for a purpose and to become adopted as a son or daughter of God one must be an upright and honest person! Selfless-ness is what makes you a person of character and a treasure unto the human race. Without that you are nothing and going nowhere! With the love of God you can be a child of God, and inherit eternal life!
