Realizing that the tithe tray in the church exists. I had nearly beaten the silk cradle before I realized your followers give you money every time you do a sermon, I had like two hundred something gold waiting for me that I never collected
And if you have the tax collector ability they go around getting coins for you which is another easy and fast way to get more money

Tip 22: place tons of altars. The game basically plays itself. Cult members will frequently leave tons of really useful and sometimes rare items. It’s so useful that I’m going to attempt a challenge run where thats my only source of loot.

There is another trick with eating food, I found that when eating minced follower meals that I get two diseased hearts, rather than just one blue heart
I didn’t know cannibalism was that rewarding
At the very least there's something to help with the Glass Cannon Purgatory challenges.
I was able to get a necklace back from a dead follower by exhuming their body (do this at night when everyone else is asleep so you don't freak them out) and there was an option to loot their body.
Hey there! Happy to meet another demonic fan. I have some pointers to add:
* You can still get lobsters without the Fish Bounty, just rare. Other than fishing, you can get them in combat with the Tarot card or a room that converts gold chest drops into food
* Good tip on the no damage runs, but I wouldn’t stress over it early on. New players should learn enemy attacks patterns and get some demons and higher level weapons and curses before consistently attempting no damage runs.
* For players that don’t care to go in blind, you can farm Divine Inspirations just before doing your first Sermon. Have all three Critters pray and tape down the meditation button. You can even unlock Tier 3 or stop before your faith drops too low (you will be hit with a dissenter when the game “starts” after the sermon)
* I noticed today that Hesob (spider) sometimes adds decriptors to his offerings. I noticed a “Faithful” Hannah today, and sure enough when I indoct’d her she had the 15% divinity boost. So always check more than the price!
* Sacrifices award money once you max out that tree
* Use “Sweeping” curses charged up to easily destroy things for farming materials

I just realized that I played this game for 133 days in game not real days and I never ate food before I go on a crusade😅
Mistake number 22: not having enrichment ritual. It will give you mountains of money. Trust me.
Money isnt really an issue after you maxed out the divine aspirations
I agree with NightOwl. I get tons of money from selling stuff in the chest as well. I get lots of items to sell from my farms, offering statues, and making coins at the tables
That is a terrible ritual… do the fishing one and sell the special fishes you get. It’ll give you a lot more gold
@@enderspider5001 Lobster gives you 20 gold, and even that only for your first sell and you have to waste an entire day fishing. Enrichment gives you minimum 1000 gold in 5 seconds, and you can practically do it every other 2-3 days. Realistically you almost never need to use more than 1000 gold in a playthrough total, so it completely trivializes the money aspect after your second use of it.
That confession booth tip is actually really really bad. That's a one time use item per day, and you SHOULD be using that to get a super high leveled follower! I have a white bunny follower who is like level 48 or something, and just happens to be a bomb type demon. I ONE-SHOT BOSSES WITH IT! You can instead use the prison to bring a follower to you, and it takes equal if not less time for the animations to play. And if you have the original sinner doctrine, you'll only lose 2 faith.
Glad I found this! I just picked this game up and started playing, but feel like I am messing up bad. Luckily, I’m not too far in the game to where I can start a new game and not worry about the time I’ve lost. These tips are helpful. :D

How funny, for me i couldn’t find the octopus. But i kept getting lobsters and crabs. I eventually got the octopus though on the next in game day. I didnt even know there was a fishing tarot card
For me it was the squid lol. But I just kept trying and eventually got it

2:07 - also know as quit&continue (aka savescum), i used that to reroll the hammers and that's it, you retain the extra hp and the summoned demon upon entering the game again

At 3:44 there is a blue snake-like follower that's praying at the shrine/totem where you get divine inspiration. Which one is that?
There's two blue ones at that shrine and the one on the top is in the dlc area of the follower forms, from twitch drop rewards, and the one on the bottom is the Cthulhu from pre-ordering the game, and it's on variant three. Thanks for watching 🙂

The brainwashing ritual which requires mushrooms. You'll unlock this ritual when you meet the mushroom guy

hi i have a question. there is a little green smoke appear in my cult, what is it and do you know how to remove it? i dont know why but my followers getting sick a lot more lately after that thing appeared. there is no optionto clean it tho.

Ironically the only fish I'm missing is the crab, cannot catch it at all for some reason and Im at day 23. My girlfriend on the other hand can catch crab and salmon but no other fish types will drol for her. Been looking for a little help on the fishing, is it just random chance?

I think I did tried to harvest a dead follower - but didn't get necklace back...
You can prepare the body for being buried and if they have a necklace it will take loot do so and you should get the necklace back

Fish must be different for each playthrough, I catch Lobsters all the time but those damn crabs are impossible.
Do you know how to save whenever you want?
You can save when at your base camp by opening up the menu and hitting save. That save option will be greyed out when out on runs, but the game auto saves whenever you return to your camp. There you can also open up the menu to do it when you want.

Dont collect devotion from God statues on crusade, just break it. Waiting from ages to collect instead you destroy it and instantly got it.

You'd think so because of how unbalanced it is. I couldn't get it at all until I got the special populations card although I saw some people say they got it without it. Most people I've seen have trouble with the lobster and sometimes one of the other ones. Thanks for watching Vespa!
I find it funny how on all of these tips videos, the guy never has a lot of gold. Ive had 1000+ gold consistently since day 30-40 lol and now (day 130) I have consistently 4000+ gold. Idk if I’m just really good at the game or something lmao

Have 800+ gold bars as well, there just isn’t that many things to use gold on imo
your 10th tip is only viable if you unlock that ability.
That lobster are my white whale.. I dont think its possible to catch it without the card

Ok but is it actually pronounced Fur-vow-er because I've only ever heard Fer-ver.
My thinking was because of the way we say devour, fervour is spelt the same way so it's probably pronounced the same.
Fer-ver is actually the correct pronunciation.
