lots of good info but I would like to make a suggestion in all kindness. Maybe put them on the table and give a close-up static shot of the two watches next to each other whilst you talk about them. I know when I look at "vs" videos I want to study the physical differences carefully. Kind of hard to do when you're waving them around constantly. Cheers
One very important feature for some (and excludes the S62) is the difference in size. The S62 is much wider than my wrist. However, the S42 comes not only in standard (still too large for me, wrist band on the last hole) but also in a smaller size (S42 SM) where the screen is kept the same. That's possibly worth mentioning.
That's interesting, it's listed as a feature of the watch so should be hidden away somewhere, here's a couple of links that may help but it's been a little while since we tested it so apologies if it's not there! www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/743387#specs www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/approachs40/EN-US/GUID-061A4ACE-1BC6-4ED2-9F97-11B938665A76.html
I brought an S42 from Golf Shop Online a few weeks ago - Love it. It replaces my old Garmin smart Vivioactive3 watch and although it has less functions like no swimming or running it does everything I need like notifications. The one thing I couldn't find any reviews say was about club tracking. My old one tracked shots but you had to edit the data back home to assign a club. This asks you what club you used after you hit the ball. the layup option is great it say to leave a 100y shot you need to hit XXXy, 125yshot you need to hit XXy etc. It also gives data on the garmin app for, handicap, strokes gained, GIR, approach accuracy, fairways hit and obviously club gap test average and max (full roll out obvs not carry)

Just ordered the Garmin S62 this morning and am really excited to receive it and put it to the test on the course.
Hope you enjoy it!
Just got deflated. I was so excited to use the 42 and it seems great. But it doesn't have a stopwatch. I really like having one.

Are you talking about the CT10 compatibility? Does the s42 work with ct10?
bought a s42, wish I had ponied up for the extra of the S62 (pay from card function NFC etc would be worth it on it's own for me)
what makes you game the shotscope v3 over one of these? I much prefer the looks of these, the touch screen, plus the hole overview. love your vids.
I’m still torn. I want an everyday watch and the s62 is appealing for that but an extra $200 is not “slightly more expensive”
Went with the s42 and I love it. Very happy with the purchase. And the garmin app is actually pretty cool
@@tonyfrese287 Still liking it today?? how is accurate is the yardages? looking for the S42 too
❤❤❤thank you so much 🙏🏼😊
