I worked in a pub back then - we always got rid of the slops that way - to be fair there was nought wrong with them most of the time they were caused by a new barrel being put on
Them gogo dancers were still on the go in the late 70s up here in Scotland - i remember going to a pub with a girl from work - it was much like Bet and Lucille - i didnt know where to look
Ooh, if I was Stan and Hilda, I would have at best kept a hundred, maybe two, and waited to see if the remainder surfaced somewhere or else later on. Pay them off just enough to shut them up, then made some attempt to enjoy myself with what I held out.

I go through all these old coronation streets just for the bits where Hilda Hogdon is on lol spent hours doing it she is amazing
Ogden not Hogdon
Same and stan
We know what they ment..
I used to think it was “Obden” for years - comes from not having a colour telly until 1973 and the telly we had having a rubbish speaker!
Love looking back through these episodes, loved them first time around ❤️ great memories
21:35 Love Minnie Caldwell shouting *"More! More!"* 😄
Ken put a sock in in! Love how these early 70s episodes go to these clubs etc. - really works. Bet and Lucille rocked it.
Hilda is a class act. Her comments are dynamite....” oh heck talk about Working class mentality “.
Fast forward to around 76 or so ' see how much Stan Ogden has aged ' and gained weight.
Best two actors in the show
Curried beans too. That must have been haute cuisine back in 71.🥰
Does anyone else notice how Hilda's stairs changed from one side of the room to the other . They used to be infront of the stairs.
Yes

Stan definitely would be Claiming somthing if he was in the program now. 🇬🇧👍
Oh dear! Annie Walker was overseeing serving beer slops. Lucille was complicit topping up that already filled pint!
Jack probably discovered what she was up to and she saw him off before he could let the cat out of the bag.

£500 in 1971 is about the same as £7300 in 2021 taking inflation into account.
How much would a central heating system cost now?
What I would give to see Annie at the RNLI ball at the end of this month . . .
Uncle Albert is superb!
The Ogden's stairs have moved .....
They had them moved thanks to the 500 quid
Is that it? I was expecting Sodom and Gomorrah! Classic Ena.😂😂😂

If Ray would have touched a womans bottom these days, well sure he would be in court. How times have changed
Things have changed for the best, too. That era was the time when the likes of Jimmy Saville and others could get away with anything.
Theyve took the fun out of everything - women used to love getting their bottoms pinched and slapped - some guys didnt mind all that much either
Now women are encouraged to touch each other's bottoms.
