What guitar brand do you recommend for a beginner?
Wow, gettin’ serious Liz! I would say that the brand doesn’t really matter for a beginner, but Manuel Rodriguez, Yamaha, or Cordoba student models are fine.
Try your best to find a used one under $300. If it’s flamenco, and not classical, then you can be pretty sure the action will be low and easier to press down the strings. Then change the strings when you get it.
