this was beautiful, masterful, full of great musicianship, showmanship, gorgeous live vocals, choreography. they look incredible...i didn't see them wipe a bead of sweat not once! true professionals. this set is amazing! how accomplished they must've felt putting on a fabulous show all the way in poland. i'm proud of them and so grateful to see this excellent footage. i couldn't help but dance in my room for 30 minutes i don't know how that audience sat so still!!!
That's the way Europeans are and they're still that way if you've ever seen other Richie family videos in Germany they sit there like they're in a funeral also
I remember them in the disco era they were very good it's hard to believe it's almost half a century old this video. The original women of this group so much more talented much better stage presents and just better overall than the girls that Came after them.
WOW WOW WOW! This is FANTASTIC! Seeing the classic line up performing a live concert at the height of their success is a real treat! The band are funky and these ladies can SING! The Ritchie Family had a top 30 UK hit with Brazil in 1975 although a bad rip off by Crispy & Co eclipsed them with sales split between both versions. Best Disco In Town reached No10. The replacement group charted with American Generation in 1979. The girls never appeared on UK TV and we knew very little about the group. I really wish someone would remaster the original albums and release them on CD.
