I like the simplicity of this game, it feels like old school CoD in some ways. Yeah, it doesn't look extremely realistic, but the gameplay is important, it's knows what it wants to be.
@@RePlayQDude, check your PC... I have an RX 6900XT and I run CoD on 1440p all Ultra easily over 144fps... Haven't tried 4K but it should be at least 100fps
They just need to fix the netcode a little bit more and this game would be fantastic. I'm already enjoying it, but yeah still getting killed by regular bullets after taking obvious cover.

Whenever I do well in MWIII I have like an ambient anxiety feeling knowing I’m about to get punished for the next few games, but in xdefiant I don’t have that feeling. It’s such a relief.
I see people saying the gunplay is so awful but I do SO MUCH BETTER with staying on target for followup shots in this game then ANY other game I've ever played

I agree it when you get that perfect combination of all your abilities it’s just so fun watching the destruction I admit it takes a little skill but it’s so fun. And the outfits compliment The abilities and the fun

I think the game will be more balanced some nerfs, some buffs, but overall i don't think that there's any big issues with this game, like people cryin that "this game is bad" but they forget, this game is free to play and it ain't take a ton of space, so i say, everybody could or should try this game because there's nothing to loose from doing it

My biggest complaint with this game is the weapon xp, its way too slow it feel like its going to take a week of consistent play to get all the attachments for 1 gun.
yeah if you just grind and focus on kills to level up the guns you want, its really easy. I have one of my guns at level 49 already with only 9 hours of playtime!
Most fun I’ve had in ages and a nice change of pace from COD. Feel the balancing is fairly good as well although for sure the Intel Sweep needs a nerf. Either reduce the radius of the sweep or increase the cooldown. DedSec defo needs a bit of a buff. Other than that it feels great
Twitter is filled with clips of connection issues (HIT detection, and net code ) the game is in a bad state rn. But I get it it's a launch but if things stays the same for the next 2 weeks then definitely the experience will get jarring. So stop acting like the game is perfect people like you are the reason why we can’t have good things anymore. Stop meat riding and call them out like everyone else is doing it.

One thing I enjoy about the spiderbot, is if you follow it loosely, it also shows you which direction your enemies are coming, which I find to be helpful most of the time
I wish DedSec's ultra acted like an EMP kill streak instead of an EMP grenade. The fact no one looks at the minimap and after death, you are no longer disrupted makes it so bad.
6:08 I disagree with phantom’s placement, sure the Mag Barrier is pretty useful but the blitz shield is useless in my opinion, and they’re both situational. I think Libertad and Cleaners need to be higher. Libertad has the ability to heal on demand, and Cleaners can basically control zones and deny areas. Cleaners on some maps can basically control the flow of the game. I do think mag barrier is pretty good tho. Edit: I do think phantom is one of the better options for area denial, so don’t take it the wrong way.
The way this ranking is set up, you kinda gotta judge by the stronger of the two abilities sine people running those factions seriously are gonna use the better ability. However, I think each faction should have been ranked twice for the activated ability for a total of 10 entries for that category. For me, I would put the mag barrier at #2 and the blitz shield somewhere towards the bottom
Great game. Reminds me of the good old times. I was playing yesterday with the shield guy and damn I felt like a Spartan pushing that shield in everyones face.😂 Its such a breath of fresh air.
Has anyone else had the problem where they’re cooking a nade and they go to throw it and the character acts like they throw it but it just gets dropped at your feet?
@@Aamonnater I’m not going too question your intelligence to hard here son so I’ll just say this. Google how many games (not COD) have multiplayer killcams. The answer is a lot. So again I say this game NEEDS a killcam otherwise it will never be taken seriously.
Kill cams are mood killers that show you getting crapped on, only reason for a kill cam is to check if someone is cheating (they’re not) but even if they are, turn cross play off and stay on Xbox and ps5 servers my guy
The biggest think that I die to is when there’s more than 1 enemy, the ttk isn’t like old cods where you can win those gunfights. So to counter that I use the mag barrier and win way more fights because of it, definitely the best. I do like the intel suit but only if my teammates use it. It’s not as effective everytime I use it, I find myself hearing the scan of an enemy but not being able to locate them right away and having to look all around for them which can get me caught off guard
Love your content but the deadsec hate is crazy 😂 their ult cancels out other ults, abilities, and devices. The hack has great utility to counter the most defensive strategies like el remedio and mag barrier. Spider bot with print gives u a great cooldown rotation to space control. Gotta b my favorite faction but maybe im biased
I think everyone is really enjoying using all the flashy intel and extra health / shields, very small number of people actually using deadsec to full potential, you’re right though the faction is being slept on heavily atm
Im enjoying the game so far. It's a nice change of pace and will be playing it when I want to play multiplayer. I will still play COD for BR but XDefiant is better than COD's multiplayer. Especially after they add Search and Destroy💯
I relate to a lot of that, the ttk and ttd is wonky, and the netcode is wierd, dying behind walls and stuff. It's early days for it tho. May be updated
It's difficult to know how valuable additional starting health is without knowing how many shots to kill are needed with each weapon. If the extra health won't often reduce the ttk then it becomes pointless.
I was in a match and all of a sudden ny screen had a blue tint to its outline and made me run super fast as echelon, any idea of what caused this? Is it a bug or sum
@@samuelconway8961not to brag but it doesnt make a difference either way, im good enough to where within a life i can get 5/7 or more kills to balance out that 1 death. im averaging 40/50kills a game with about 15/25 deaths. if the guys with more health had better abilities id use them. but the ghillie and the shot shot pistol for me is a better trade for 20 more hp

Didnt have this issue here. Only think that happened to me is that net code sometimes screw me up, and i end up getting killed through cover alread.. also having a good aim, and stability feels soooo rewarding, it is noticible how Fast you kill ppl when landing headshots or shots to the chest. 100% of the times, if you have good aim, you will kill players with ease, even if is 1v2 ttk just feels greate!
Im really enjoying the game. I havent had a ton of hit reg/lag issues but i know alot of ppl have. When they get that fixed, then start adding more unlockables/better battle pass, it will be in a good spot imo

Radius of Lockout is the entire map, everyone alive will get EMPed regardless of their location. I've seen this ever since PlayTest. I agree about Incendiary rounds.
I'm trying to sort out the recoil, I have adjusted the settings but still have the same problem. Any help would be much appreciated. playing on PS5 with a DualSense Edge controller.
With dead sec faction I think it's mainly for cancelling other abilities such as the phantom's ultra which can be pretty devastating on escort and even other modes
For me Dead sec is god tier really, especially if you’ve a good team that actually play obj, taking over the healing stations flipping shields, nothing can stop you throw on a emp nade and they never have utility to use other than the cleaners or a shield user everything else is denied to some extent it’s pure abuse when used right especially in push and the other progressive attack defend mode.
Nothing to unlock... only deadsec. you can use all the features besides that. it is only skins you unlock, you can see how to do that in challenges -> operator
@@skotabigpassive abilities are what the name suggest, passive. They are always there. you always have 120 health, your health regen always start sooner, your bullets always burn. The only thing kind of on a timer is deadsec, when you throw a grenade it will start printing a new grenade (you don't have do anything) and then after 10 seconds or whatever, you have a new one.
@@skotabigplay as cleaner, and all your rounds are incendiary... Play as libertad, and you have the heling. The point of passive trait is that you don't do anything, it is just always there!
I really appreciate the 120 Hz on Xbox Series X. I've been looking for a game like this for a while. Rogue Company is a fun and similarish 3rd person hero shooter that I've played for ages, but the player base is dwindling!
The sonar suit objectively needs a nerf. It’s so unfair to the other factions that you can essentially have constant ping, I’ve played so many games where everyone was running echelon and it’s going to become an issue. Honestly it should only reveal the location of enemies to the user and it would be fine. So far this is really the only broken thing I’ve encountered in the game in terms of balance.
There are times im getting hit marker notifications and audio like just ping ping ping ping ping ping and there health bar like doesn’t move but its okay free to play game there’s fun to be had
Really enjoying the game even though I suck and the hit detection feels off to me. I love that the guns don't have 100 different attachments and no stupid blueprints (just give me gun skins) - things seem a little more simplified - which I like.
while i do understand where this tierlist is coming from, i dont really agree. i dont think the factions can be objectively ranked in any way since they all do their own special thing. also this video really did dedsec dirty. you can use the spiderbot to just constantly show you where enemies are or just get a free pick, since most players just dont shoot it. the hijack is really good against mines, spiderbots and in certain cases mag barriers. the downside being that you have to rely on the enemy team to pick an ability that you can hack. the passive is good if you want to lock down an area from cover, 2 or 3 people on dedsec can just constantly throw grenades and most players wont challenge them. and their ultra is pretty good if you use it at the right time. if an echelon just used their ultra, you can just stop it and they have to do their animation of swapping weapons which can get them killed easily. phantoms will try to get up close with aegis but if you just disable it and their mag barrier, they have nothing and are caught off guard. just in general, it destroys every ability and prevents the opposite team from using theirs, has incrediable range and duration and you can start building it up instantly. while dedsec might not be the best faction, they are still very powerful if you know how to use their abilities

Exactly. These guys must have forgotten what it was like during the OG CoD days, before social media really kicked off. The older titles are meant to be FUN, and the devs didn't have an actual way to gather feedback wide enough.
AMEN brother, people be forgeting that this ain't the typical 70 dollar 200 GB game, it's a 33 GB free to play title, but it already does a good job, and altough i think there will be some balancing, i still think this game will have a lot of new content just based on how many posibility and potentiality it have.
i wish they never went the hero route. giving a class extra hp and another wall hacks is absurd when there is no limits. you can have 6 people with walls on the entire game, do they not remember when in ow you could play as 6 mei's and essentially break the game?
I’ve been playing almost exclusively libertad since the game launched and personally, I think BioVida Boost is objectively worse. I get the on demand stim is nice and it’s what I started on and loved it, but I switched to El Remédio to heal others to unlock different character and at first I didn’t like it but now that I’m used to it I can say it’s WAY better. It’s up for THIRTY seconds and then down for 30 (compared to BioVida Boost being 35 for a 3 second heal), meaning it’s up half the time and sure it can get broken but also if it’s being useless you can cancel it early to start the cooldown quicker, it’s way better at healing others, it heals at nearly the same speed, and also the amount of times I throw it down on a corner (where it heals me but the enemy doesn’t have line of sight to break it) and then peak a fight and win it due to the fast active healing on top of the passive.. and then when I win the gun fight it’s already healing me back up just like the stim would to immediately take a second gun fight is unmatched. Better in nearly every way, sorry
No one talking about the competitive aspect of this game yes you get more health you can put a a shield up you can get a flamethrower but when your playing obj and deadsec uses his ultimate it turns into a even playing field

Dedsec is really the underdog lol its my fav the number of time ive turn the tide on a game by cancelling enemies ult and steal a shield you always at least need one in your team
There’s something unsatisfying about dumping a whole mag into an enemy and getting two shot back, maybe it’s a skill issue, maybe is just clunky, I’m having a really hard time trying to justify putting time into this lil overwatch/cod hybrid baby :(
The Svd with a heavy barrel is busted 1 shot headshots on anyone not a phantom, not using extra health abilities.. what's wild is I killed a Libertad using her ultimate with 3 headshots from the Svd.. absolutely insane
Don’t think dedsec is getting enough credit. His hijack ability is literally a “what’s yours is now mine” ability. Your mag barrier, it’s mine now. Your el remidio, it’s mine now. Any team based gadget is now dedsec’s when using hijack. I will give this much, if the entire enemy team is using selfish abilities, then they are useless. But when you are playing against people who are team based, you are the ultimate support The lockout ult, it doesn’t just get others out of their ults. It disrupts ALL enemy devices, abilities and ults in its proximity. Should it take less time for it to become used? Sure, but guaranteed that if it took less time, it would be seen as overpowered
It’s got potential. Lots of patches need to happen. Shouldn’t take more than 4 bullets to the head to get an elim. Tired of hitting head shots but losing battles
I knew I wasn't crazy. In fact, I lose a lot of gun fights where I legitimately dump at least 8-9 shots first. The gunfights are so weird and unfair. It is like you shoot first? Die first, too.
My problem is…there is just nothing to play for. I get mindless fun, give me something that shows everyone in the lobby “damn somebody going crazy”. Doesn’t have have to be a streak, but with all the devs working on this….they could come up with something!!!!
Calling Dedsec the worst is crazy but I love it cuz they’ll get buffed first when they’re already the best for players who can actually go on streaks. Unlimited equipment and a free kill with spiderbot every 20 or so seconds is top tier, echelon is still better but dedsec is absolutely not the worst

Sniping in XDefiant is a little clunky but satisfying when you can get it to work
I agree, despite the number of people complaining it's OP, the clunkiness + netcode issues make them super inconsistent and a bit rough atm

yeah the healing thing you throw down is extremely underrated you’re basically unkillable if you’re in a gunfight standing near it

Kill cams are mood killers that show you getting crapped on, only reason for a kill cam is to check if someone is cheating (they’re not) but even if they are, turn cross play off and stay on Xbox and ps5 servers my guy

The biggest think that I die to is when there’s more than 1 enemy, the ttk isn’t like old cods where you can win those gunfights. So to counter that I use the mag barrier and win way more fights because of it, definitely the best. I do like the intel suit but only if my teammates use it. It’s not as effective everytime I use it, I find myself hearing the scan of an enemy but not being able to locate them right away and having to look all around for them which can get me caught off guard
Love your content but the deadsec hate is crazy 😂 their ult cancels out other ults, abilities, and devices. The hack has great utility to counter the most defensive strategies like el remedio and mag barrier. Spider bot with print gives u a great cooldown rotation to space control. Gotta b my favorite faction but maybe im biased
I think everyone is really enjoying using all the flashy intel and extra health / shields, very small number of people actually using deadsec to full potential, you’re right though the faction is being slept on heavily atm
Im enjoying the game so far. It's a nice change of pace and will be playing it when I want to play multiplayer. I will still play COD for BR but XDefiant is better than COD's multiplayer. Especially after they add Search and Destroy💯
I relate to a lot of that, the ttk and ttd is wonky, and the netcode is wierd, dying behind walls and stuff. It's early days for it tho. May be updated

It's difficult to know how valuable additional starting health is without knowing how many shots to kill are needed with each weapon. If the extra health won't often reduce the ttk then it becomes pointless.
I’d turn on damage numbers, helps a lot with learning the damage on each gun on each location

Phantoms are the 120hp dudes with the shields, they don’t have the 1 shot pistol and ghillie suit etc! :)

@@samuelconway8961not to brag but it doesnt make a difference either way, im good enough to where within a life i can get 5/7 or more kills to balance out that 1 death. im averaging 40/50kills a game with about 15/25 deaths. if the guys with more health had better abilities id use them. but the ghillie and the shot shot pistol for me is a better trade for 20 more hp

Didnt have this issue here. Only think that happened to me is that net code sometimes screw me up, and i end up getting killed through cover alread.. also having a good aim, and stability feels soooo rewarding, it is noticible how Fast you kill ppl when landing headshots or shots to the chest. 100% of the times, if you have good aim, you will kill players with ease, even if is 1v2 ttk just feels greate!
Im really enjoying the game. I havent had a ton of hit reg/lag issues but i know alot of ppl have. When they get that fixed, then start adding more unlockables/better battle pass, it will be in a good spot imo

Incendiary rounds are pretty good with m44 to be able to get 100 body shots I often only deal damage for 70
I feel like a weak link no matter how many kills while I play cleaner this explains it I nvr rly played the other classes I am missing out on so much, that's echelon is so good
Radius of Lockout is the entire map, everyone alive will get EMPed regardless of their location. I've seen this ever since PlayTest. I agree about Incendiary rounds.

Mag barrier is good, but I run emp nades which take it down immediately. This stops area lockdowns quickly

With dead sec faction I think it's mainly for cancelling other abilities such as the phantom's ultra which can be pretty devastating on escort and even other modes

For me Dead sec is god tier really, especially if you’ve a good team that actually play obj, taking over the healing stations flipping shields, nothing can stop you throw on a emp nade and they never have utility to use other than the cleaners or a shield user everything else is denied to some extent it’s pure abuse when used right especially in push and the other progressive attack defend mode.

Nothing to unlock... only deadsec. you can use all the features besides that. it is only skins you unlock, you can see how to do that in challenges -> operator

you always have 120 health, your health regen always start sooner, your bullets always burn.
The only thing kind of on a timer is deadsec, when you throw a grenade it will start printing a new grenade (you don't have do anything) and then after 10 seconds or whatever, you have a new one.

I really appreciate the 120 Hz on Xbox Series X. I've been looking for a game like this for a while. Rogue Company is a fun and similarish 3rd person hero shooter that I've played for ages, but the player base is dwindling!
The sonar suit objectively needs a nerf. It’s so unfair to the other factions that you can essentially have constant ping, I’ve played so many games where everyone was running echelon and it’s going to become an issue. Honestly it should only reveal the location of enemies to the user and it would be fine. So far this is really the only broken thing I’ve encountered in the game in terms of balance.
It's not that good lol. If they nerfed it nobody would use it. The factions are pretty balanced imo. The Cleaners ulimate is a little weak though

Really enjoying the game even though I suck and the hit detection feels off to me. I love that the guns don't have 100 different attachments and no stupid blueprints (just give me gun skins) - things seem a little more simplified - which I like.
Dedsec counters both the sheild and intel spam since u print more emps each time . Plus the spider is strong so there my fav and go to now

while i do understand where this tierlist is coming from, i dont really agree. i dont think the factions can be objectively ranked in any way since they all do their own special thing. also this video really did dedsec dirty. you can use the spiderbot to just constantly show you where enemies are or just get a free pick, since most players just dont shoot it. the hijack is really good against mines, spiderbots and in certain cases mag barriers. the downside being that you have to rely on the enemy team to pick an ability that you can hack. the passive is good if you want to lock down an area from cover, 2 or 3 people on dedsec can just constantly throw grenades and most players wont challenge them. and their ultra is pretty good if you use it at the right time. if an echelon just used their ultra, you can just stop it and they have to do their animation of swapping weapons which can get them killed easily. phantoms will try to get up close with aegis but if you just disable it and their mag barrier, they have nothing and are caught off guard. just in general, it destroys every ability and prevents the opposite team from using theirs, has incrediable range and duration and you can start building it up instantly. while dedsec might not be the best faction, they are still very powerful if you know how to use their abilities

Exactly. These guys must have forgotten what it was like during the OG CoD days, before social media really kicked off. The older titles are meant to be FUN, and the devs didn't have an actual way to gather feedback wide enough.
AMEN brother, people be forgeting that this ain't the typical 70 dollar 200 GB game, it's a 33 GB free to play title, but it already does a good job, and altough i think there will be some balancing, i still think this game will have a lot of new content just based on how many posibility and potentiality it have.

Play Dedsec with a light, snappy weapon with high mobility. Flank with the spider drone and it's literally both a free safe rotate and kill

I’ve been playing almost exclusively libertad since the game launched and personally, I think BioVida Boost is objectively worse. I get the on demand stim is nice and it’s what I started on and loved it, but I switched to El Remédio to heal others to unlock different character and at first I didn’t like it but now that I’m used to it I can say it’s WAY better. It’s up for THIRTY seconds and then down for 30 (compared to BioVida Boost being 35 for a 3 second heal), meaning it’s up half the time and sure it can get broken but also if it’s being useless you can cancel it early to start the cooldown quicker, it’s way better at healing others, it heals at nearly the same speed, and also the amount of times I throw it down on a corner (where it heals me but the enemy doesn’t have line of sight to break it) and then peak a fight and win it due to the fast active healing on top of the passive.. and then when I win the gun fight it’s already healing me back up just like the stim would to immediately take a second gun fight is unmatched. Better in nearly every way, sorry
No one talking about the competitive aspect of this game yes you get more health you can put a a shield up you can get a flamethrower but when your playing obj and deadsec uses his ultimate it turns into a even playing field

Dedsec is really the underdog lol its my fav the number of time ive turn the tide on a game by cancelling enemies ult and steal a shield you always at least need one in your team

Don’t think dedsec is getting enough credit. His hijack ability is literally a “what’s yours is now mine” ability. Your mag barrier, it’s mine now. Your el remidio, it’s mine now. Any team based gadget is now dedsec’s when using hijack. I will give this much, if the entire enemy team is using selfish abilities, then they are useless. But when you are playing against people who are team based, you are the ultimate support
The lockout ult, it doesn’t just get others out of their ults. It disrupts ALL enemy devices, abilities and ults in its proximity. Should it take less time for it to become used? Sure, but guaranteed that if it took less time, it would be seen as overpowered

I knew I wasn't crazy. In fact, I lose a lot of gun fights where I legitimately dump at least 8-9 shots first. The gunfights are so weird and unfair. It is like you shoot first? Die first, too.

Calling Dedsec the worst is crazy but I love it cuz they’ll get buffed first when they’re already the best for players who can actually go on streaks. Unlimited equipment and a free kill with spiderbot every 20 or so seconds is top tier, echelon is still better but dedsec is absolutely not the worst
