Even with the nerf I think cyrax is still the best choice , been doing really well with him

Keep in mind during hype, all of Johnny’s specials are treated as enhanced specials. So shadow kick has free armor and nut punch is invincible during hype. Rising star launches meterlessly obviously. I believe the parry is also treated as enhanced as well
I've actually used the glasses to bait my opponent but only situational like against someone who's always in the air like nitara and will be using it to hype up then she will get in the air and I will let it go and it will hit confirm her in the air and can combo. Even after knocking someone down alot of people don't react to it. Just a gimmick.
I use glasses after during hype specials. After a spaced out nut punch it’s like plus 5. Big gimmick but your safer then just doing a third nut punch

I would like you to cover JK sub zero synergy. He can completely fill his hype meter in one combo, easily builds half of the star with every touch. Also projectile immunity is really good.
Also he can go into hype and make his two nutpunches save cancelling them into sub zero shoulder.
Also for sure he goes into hype combos really easily using b2 charge on a frozen opponent.

@@ratdog356 string into amp rising star, hit him with air 2 as late as possible then dash canel 4 into freeze. Change sunglasses, then instantly charge b2 (timing has to be good), After b2 hits fill remaining hype with fdb4. Also you get oki and 30%+ damage which is good. If you have half of a star you can do the same stuff but after b2 you can go straight to the hype mode and begin a short hype combo. Something like np np dash 214 np and two shadow kicks. In a corner you can end combo with 212 4 np np np into restand and then chip them out with f32 np np into subs shoulder. For sure you can get to the hype using string into ground freeze. Change sunglasses after to fill star and then go to your typical hype combo using 4 into hype into nutpunch.

First time i am seeing the shadow uppercut taunt.
I'm new to mortal kombat as a whole, and I'm trying to do a hype combo. I'm lost on canceling bd1 into df3 and then doing 214. I've had sometimes where it combos and others where it doesn't and I can't figure out what's different.
check your ‘kontrols’ section. many people, as they improve, find that tightening up those options leads to less dropped kombos and more accurate thumbwork.

No nerfs, except power nerfs a little. Only damage power a little.
Can you explain if there are any conditions for brutalities? for example some of my nut-punch combos like when you finish in the corner 214 into nutpuch resolve into brutalities when I hold 2. but sometimes they are not. Is there a condition how much health should be left when you do your final hit or any precise timings or what?
I have no idea, i think you the nutpunch isnt the hit that kills the brutality wont happen?
I thought so, but that’s definitely not the case as in both cases opponent was dead before the final 214np. And sometimes it works sometimes it’s not(

Same issue here for me aswell, tried to end the match with the nut punch brutality after combo strings but it never seemed to work even after holding 2. Only got it to occur so far by doing a nut punch after down 1. Hope they might fix it in the next patch if it’s a bug
For me I usually get the nut punch brutal if I do the input while holding 1 and 2. It whiffs sometimes but that’s the most consistent way I’ve found
Actually I haven't tested it yet, but I noticed several times that I had no issues with nut punch brutalities if..... my opponent is not in the corner. I don't know what the difference is but I am making the same combo and getting this brut close to 100% mid screen
