Rosehip Seed oil is so good, I have been using it for years and buy an organic one from a health store. I keep it in the fridge and decant a smaller amount into an empty dark essential oil bottle to keep in a drawer for use. I use it a couple of times a week in the evening only, or on my face and neck while lying in the bath. It is great for pigmentation issues as well. It has vitamins A and E and essential fatty acids, and absorbs quite quickly. I have never used retinol. Thanks for another lovely video, the scenery is beautiful! x

I used rosehip oil when I was a teenager (I am now 29) to fade acne marks and it worked so well. I ended up with no marks. After watching your video I feel like repurchasing a bottle to incorporate in my skincare routine. Gonna be 30 next year, better start now! :)

I turned 60 in September so yeah, good genes. The smell of the oil is definitely unusual, but it doesn't bother me too much. I'm looking forward to seeing some great results from it this winter, which can get really dry here in southern Calif.

Susan, Seeing you and Cooper - and hearing your soothing voice - was just what I needed today. I had a rough week. My kitty, who I've been treating for an autoimmune disease since August, has joined the others who went before her. As sad as I am, it's so sad to see her siblings search for her. I ordered my Rosehip Seed Oil last night. I ordered the one that you recommend on your January '17 video. I have been on tretinoin for almost 5 months and it is working, but i would MUCH rather use all natural. I am not against it or women getting work done, but that is just not me. I may change my mind about work one day, but probably not, because I always think of how much money goes into cosmetic surgery and how I could be helping poor people out, providing food, etc. and feel guilty:)

Well, I'm seriously intrigued! I also use rose hip seed oil and argan oil....they are excellent. I put 6 drops of rose hip oil in my hand with 6 drops of argan oil, blend them together and massage onto my face. As an older woman myself, I love the results they give.

So glad Cooper was feeling well enough to join you today, after all, it is his video too. Had to pause the video for the darling vintage picture of the little girl and her adoring dog. Could have been you and Cooper. So adorable. My little 11yr old Shih Tzu, Trixie, has allergies too but is unable to take allergy shots because of adverse reactions. So it's a struggle. The rosehip oil sounds interesting. Let us know in a few months if you're still loving it and continue to see results without any adverse reactions. From what I'm reading, some with oily skin can have problems and to look for one like yours with added vitamin E which helps keep it from going rancid, but still should refrigerate. It's amazing isn't it how many effective and affordable products are out there. That's one of the great things about watching all of our YT women and learning about products we would not hear about otherwise. A love letter, how exciting. Hmmm...now I'm wondering if that natural, glowing blush was a result of the oil or from the handsome man. Tell your handsome man to be fearless when he comes calling...tomorrow. Hey Susan Great video, have been using Rosehip oil for years was told many years ago it was good for your skin, this was when I was in my 30s so I bought some love the effect it had on my skin and used it for quite a few years then it was not available any more, so when I rediscovered it about 4 years ago I use regular a couple of drops every night in my moisturiser , have had a long love of it so when i saw your video I was over the moon now I know all about it and thank you for that. Omg I'm so glad I found you. I had been looking for cold pressed jojoba oil and ended up finding the cold pressed rose hip oil. Not researching or looking for it I just happened to find it at TJ max amongst a mess of products. I'm so glad I did. Got home searched on you tube and there you were, Thank you so much for your awesome review. You look absolutely amazing. Funny thing, I was just watching this movie early this morning called "I'll see you in my dreams". It was about a widow whom spent her younger years a songstress discovers that life can begin at any age. I will pre warn you, I had to skip over the first 4 mins of the movie because it dealt with the death of her dog, and I just don't deal well with anything related to death but once I got through that, it was truly a beautiful movie that made you really think about life & love in our mature years. Truly a good movie that I highly recommend to everyone.

I didn't know rosehip oil was such a powerhouse! I just ordered generic retin a from India, as I can't afford it otherwise. I only used it once and then gave it to my son to see if it helped with his eczema. I don't recall any burning, but then again I could have thought I was having a hot flash..LOL! Hi Susan and Cooper! I'm glad that Cooper is starting to feel better. Allergies are no fun. My pups get them too. I use Rose Hip Seed Oil every night. I love it. I'll always use it. Since using it I've really noticed a difference in my skin. If you don't feel ready to stop using the Retin A all together you could cut back to just a couple days a week and use the Rose Hip Oil daily. After a couple of months see if you notice any difference. If not (or if so but good difference) stop using the Retin A completely . Just a thought. You look so lovely. Dear lady, I've recently ordered rosehip seed oil at your suggestion. It hasn't arrived yet, but I didn't know I have to build up to using every day. I'm so glad I saw this video before I started using it. You don't say in this video the correct way to do that. HI Virginia! You may not have that Rosehip burn that I did....I have very sensitive skin. start out with a few drops ( small amount) a tnight before bed and the next day see if you are red? Play it by ear....I did go through a Rosehip peel about 30 days in but it only laste done day. I am so happy wiht my skin...it's been 2 years that I have beenon Rosehip instead of Retin-a and I am thrilled. Please let me know how you do with it. I use it day and night and I use it on my neck. I only use Aura Casio from Chili....I have no connection with that company, it's just really the best! Love to you! Susan

Sweet Susan, when i first starting watching your video, I had seen the title and saw that you were just glowing! Before i continued I ran to my bathroom because I knew I had a bottle of organic rose hip seed oil and literally slathered it all over my face! I had know idea about storing it in the fridge and to how to use it...so thank you! I've heard a lot about Rose Hip oil, but haven't tried it.....yet, lol. I cannot put Retin A, nor Vit C serum on my neck, at all, so, I might give this oil a try. I started out on Roc Retinol for a year and then I switched to Nuetrogena (sp) and I Liked that better.More retinol with Hyaluronic acid for moisture and I all of a sudden sawe a real difference. But this March I did switch to Retin-a. My doctor told me he won't go over the .05 dose. Just a pea size I use every night in my moisturizer...and now I use Rosehip Oil morning and night too. There is no Vitamin C in the Rosehip Oil...so I use the Vit C too. It sounds more complicated then it is! LOL...Are you liking that dupe for Genifique? Oh I love it. I am out!!!! OUT!! Oh Susan, your skin is radiant! Is it Love? Is it Rosehip Oil? Maybe both! We inherited a dog like Cooper when our neighbor passed away. Her name was Lucy. She traveled to our house so much, that after 10 years of walking the same exact path, there was a permanent trail of about 2 inches wide in our backyard. Sadly, about four years ago, someone took her during the night. She was always an outside dog and never bothered anyone. I miss her so bad! I love seeing Cooper in your videos because he reminds me of Lucy!

I have some Rosehip oil in the fridge right now. I was trying out the Avon product I spoke about so I put it on hold. Loved this video. I am going to start using the Rosehip oil a few times a week and see how everything goes. Your skin is looking amazing Susan. I was also hoping to use this instead of Retin A because I don't like how Retin A makes me so red and constantly flaky. Hi Susan So good to see dear Cooper is ok:) Inky has awful pneumonia ,her temperature was 105 but its now coming down.Went to vets 3 times in the last 5 days. I want to let you know I've been using RoseHip Oil for some time now and it is my favourite oil to use on my face. It has helped me so much with discolouration and fine line wrinkles and scaring. OH GREAT!!!! Now I've had my Susan & Cooper fix!!!! So wonderful to see both of you!! I couldn't live without animals. I have a 13 year old and a 9 year old. My 13 year old has allergies and my 9 year old is losing his eyesight (genetic). We make several trips to the vet every year for medication for allergies . I think more of my dogs than I do most people......if that sounds bad, so be it!!! We've had to make that inevitable decision regarding pets many times and it NEVER gets easier. The other choice we could make is to not have them in our life, and I think that would be much, much worse. Susan, I use the Rosehip Seed Oil (Mountainrose Herbs) for several years along with Retin A & Vit C. Never had a problem using them all together. I must say in every video you look more beautiful!! Your hair, your makeup, your jewelry, your outfit are all just lovely!! Please give that precious COOPER a big hug for me!!! You two are a TEAM and I do love you apartment and your decorating.
