This seat is great. It also looks cute with the pink ! I think they are all pretty safe these days, but this one is easy to use and fits in both my truck and sedan.
We have the keyfit 35. I’m confused on how to do the newborn insert. The car seat comes with padding already on it. Do we put the newborn insert on top of the existing padding? Or do we remove and then put the newborn insert in?

The newborn insert goes over the car seat cover. Please refer to the owner's manual for additional information
One strap always seems looser than the other after tightening when baby is in car seat

Can I remove the newborn insert before my baby is 11lb?
The inset helps to properly position the baby in the car seat and should be used up to 11 pounds.
