Followed instructions on the seat belt method but I feel like it’s just not tight enough and I don’t know how to make it any tighter. Pulling real hard on the seat belt and maybe I’m being too forceful but I’m easily able to go side to side with some force. Front to back it’s good but side to side it isn’t.
You only test at the belt path with the force of a handshake. Don’t test at the end of the base. Focus on tightening just the lap belt first. Then pull the slack out through the shoulder belt and slide it through the lock off. If you cannot get a safe seatbelt install I would move the seat to a seating position with the lower anchors. Those usually have no trouble getting tight enough on this specific base.
