At the beginning of gen 3 games i always fill my party with zigzagoons and battle level 2-3 pokemon training my starter and making use of 5x zigzagoon pickup abilities to fill up on potions, rare candies, and many other items
Bro I literally considered starting a UA-cam channel to talk about strong Pokémon for playthrus, cuz that doesn’t exist! Until now! Thank you so much dude, now I don’t have to fail at UA-cam, and you can succeed instead 😁 I’m really hoping you’re a fan of gen 5 and get around to doing those games at some point!
About Zigzagoon/Linoone this guy did NOT mention: While ExtremeSpeed Zigzagoon DOES exist in Gen3, it's NOT in it's natural learn set. It's obtained from Pokémon Box RS, a WHOLE ANOTHER game (proto version of Pokémon Bank/Home for Gen 3). Which itself is extremely rare to find. It's a gamecube title to boot. Extreme Speed Zigzagoon is a milestone reward for depositing certain amount of mons in the game. TL;DR, It is NOT a "regular playthrough" mon. HOWEVER: Zigzagoon can learn Fury Swipes and Pin Missile. What's groundbreaking about them? King's Rock. Equip them for a chance to flinch for every single strike of the move. (if I'm not mistaken that is)
... "the most less known" ... first ziggzagoon, which you literally get spammed from since start. Good job people, quality content here! Keep up the good work!
number two makuhita... which also everyone knows about. And this is the point, where every watcher with at least two brain cells give a thumbs down and close the tab, cause this video is definitely complete time waste from start to beginning!
Bro... pelipper is way more better than we all think. It was the star of my flying hardcore nuzlocke because he also can learn icebeam and shockwave. I loved to use it
Starmie was my OG surfer even tho I had Mudkip as my starter Breloom was my main on my second playthrough cuz I wanted a challenge and thought Shroomish was trash 😅
It’s funny how you say pelipper is underrated and yet I think you are underrating it. It learns ice beam and shock wave which can completely sweep Winona. It also has use after the 8th gym. Shock wave for glacias walrein can be helpful and ice beam can sweep drake. Pelipper is also great against both Wallace and Steven. Skarmory gets walled by pelipper and Wallace’s team will mostly go down to shock wave. And what’s nice about shock wave is that is will never miss so you can deal with that damn double teaming ludicolo more easily. Speaking of ludicolo, I think it deserves a spot. It helps out against Roxanne and then falls off a cliff. That is untill you get a water stone where ludicolo will become invaluable to your team. Surf, Giga drain, and Ice beam are all great moves to have on a Pokémon with good special attack. 4x resistance to water also means ludicolo will wall any water type threat. These include Juan’s kingdra, Archie’s Sharpedo, Glacias walrein, and Wallace’s team. One more Pokémon that I think more people should give recognition to is Swalot. Swalot gets amazing utility by level up such as toxic, encore, and yawn. Combine that with its natural bulk for a great defensive Pokémon. It can also have some nice offensive utility with moves like ice beam, shock wave, and water pulse.
Taking a look; it doesn’t actually reduce the damage done by direct damage and Guts ignores the damage reduction. It’s the same system that’s used in Gen 4 where Swellow uses Guts + Flame Orb + Facade in competitive.
In the one clip, it shows Snorlax as being taller than Hariyama. How though? Hariyama is 7'07 and Snorlax is 6'11. Also, how is Snorlax heavier than Wailord?
Extreme speed in zigzagoon is not in his level up moves. I don’t know why you mention that ? It does exist but you are talking about the playthrough which wild zigzagoon will never have. 👎🏻 bs. It looks you haven’t played the games or have not even bother in investigating

that's a great strat
@@pokerebelsI did that once, planned to do it again on the next playthrough and found almost zero zigzagoons
@@Lordspaghett that's genius advice

Weirdest comment I’ve ever written lol, hope it makes sense
Understood completely - thank you for the support and Gen 5 IS coming
Do it
Life’s too short my brother. Make that UA-cam channel. If that’s what you want to do, it’s what you’re supposed to do.

here's hoping for it then! Zigzagoon has the potential!
Crawdaunt when you want a dark type move: "Knock Off, take it or leave it"
literally 😭
Hariyama with Thick Fat is amazing (though I got Guts on my Makuhita :()
Great video timing btw! Will help with my Emerald HC nuzlocke 😁
love it thank you 😭
Little correction- Guts does not increase the power of moves by 1.5 times, it increases the attack stat by 1.5 times.
Nice catch 🙏🏽

@@Snakehad95bro, your life must be really really sad. I’m sorry. Hope you get better soon ❤️
Sure but who actually uses it
I remember having Hariyama on my first play through of Ruby, it was a great addition to my team
such a good hitter!
Bro... pelipper is way more better than we all think. It was the star of my flying hardcore nuzlocke because he also can learn icebeam and shockwave. I loved to use it
such a good boy 🥲
Pellipper goated because it gets shock wave immediately after wattson. I’d say sableye and skarmory are my favorite underrated fellas
those are some nice choices!
I oddly never even considered using sableye I'll try him
Seeing three of the key members of my team make the list made me very happy
you chose well!
Zigzagoon??? I was not expecting that
Literally
Just caught a shiny Zigzagoon in Emerald mid play through, let’s gooooo!
Ayeee that’s beautiful!
Starmie was my OG surfer even tho I had Mudkip as my starter
Breloom was my main on my second playthrough cuz I wanted a challenge and thought Shroomish was trash 😅
Starmie really is GOATED
Not to brag but my first playthrough of Ruby I did use Peliper...however I was a noob and only had Wing attack , Fly , surf and Water pulse
Edit: still love Peliper
pelipper is really nice

yeah based on what you said i am definitely underselling Pelipper
I never would've realized
This list is wild
The number 1 is surprising 😱
Congrtas you are 2nd
😭
being burned wouldnt be gould for facade as being burned halfs the basic dmg of physical attacks which facade was in gen3
you are right about that burn
But didn't facade bypasses this because it's main gimmick is it powers up its attack if the pokemon is burned, poisoned, paralyzed?
@@jbonceu2457 not sure tbh I thought not

zigzagoon -> linoone with belly drum + strength = 1 ohko elite 4 😂

👀
Pelipper could be better but its ability is terrible
for reaal

i mean apparently Snorlax is officially 200 ish pounds heavier than Wailord
@@pokerebels I got that, but I'm making the comment because a whale should be in the tons not lbs.
Nah I’m not using a pelipper 😂
well dang

Because you can have it on him through Pokémon box. Obviously a special case but it is real and viable
@@pokerebels I know, that is why I said it does exist. You should have mentioned in the video because you make it seem like it has the move regularly
