  • A brief look at some vintage dealer brochures of the 1960-61 Chevrolet Trucks lineup. We take a look at the different trim levels and discuss the pricing of the various models and compare them to what the "Todays" pricing would be. Unfortunately I could not find original pricing of these trucks in the database I use. Sorry.
Kick back and enjoy a walk down memory lane with us. If you were lucky enough to visit a dealership, you may remember the brochures you could flip through of the models available for that particular year. Today, we're bringing the brochure to you.
We hope you enjoy this video, we have fun producing them for you. We will continue to make more content of some of the greatest American cars and trucks ever produced, so check back frequently to see more.

I didn't know you could get Hydramatic in 1960 on the Chevy. GMC stayed with the Hydramatic.

@@patrickmcgoldrick8234 Guess if I ever want one with automatic, I will have to look for a 60, as 2 speed Powerglide is just not good enough - 1st gear is very tall.

@@jamesbosworth4191 If you have a small block a 700R4 would be a good choice.you wouldn't have to change axle ratios, just make sure you get the matching flywheel, starter, torque converter cover, drive shaft transmission slip yoke, and cross member, shifter, cooler lines, and misc.small items and your on the way.

Cool video, but you're scanning these at too low a resolution. I can see ziggly lines.

Notice how today's truck advertising never mentions chassis/cabs, flatbeads, or stakebeds?

I've always called the 60-66 Chevy trucks the "breadloaf design"... looking at the back they look like a loaf of bread.

Those pods on the 59' Chevrolet Impala & Bel Air where weird, at least they took them off the 1960 models. Not trucks though!
