If you're gardening, you're weeding...fact of life. But there are ways to make it a bit more enjoyable. Today, we find out how to make pulling weeds a breeze....sort of. :)
Listening to you both laughing just made my day. Can't help but hear the joy you find in each other. 💑 Thanks for coming back and sharing your life with us. You both are great role models........
My raised beds were built with a pvc pipe into the corners, to take narrower pvc tubes bent into an arch. A kind of ribbing to take clear plastic sheeting over top to protect against cold weather. So in Summer, those pvc corners are the perfect diameter to take the post of a garden umbrella. I have one at each end. I found Tuesday Morning has the large umbrellas for 39.99. The best forty bucks I ever spent.
Wow! So Happy your back!! I want to thank you for all your previous videos over the years, they were very inspiring to me. I learned a lot and it has made me a better gardener. Thank you again and looking forward to more videos. God bless!
Brother, you guys are too much ! That was wonderful, and some smart thinking ! Shade and a fan... Leave it to you guys ! Thanks so much for sharing my friend ! Enjoyed ! God Bless
It’s great to see a new video being posted by you! I used the same technique for working on my sprinkler system, a large patio umbrella and two box fans. Your soil looks like it’s very poor quality. I think hydroponic gardening would work much better! No weeding at all! Thanks for introducing me to hydroponic gardening and the 3 part Masterblend hydroponic nutrient! Please post more hydroponic gardening videos!
That reminds me of last summer. My son was helping his best friend install attic insulation. I helped some by taking a canopy, fans, and a power cord. You guys are geniuses. Uh, you got any extra okra, love that stuff fried
Great idea. My husband and I could have been a UA-cam sensation if I am sharing videos on how to grow weeds :-D That's an awesome way to get things done in this scorching hot weather. So glad you are back Bobby.
I had an idea about that same thing except having wheels at the corner and some added weight at the bottom for those pesky winds trying to do the parachute thing. And the fan is a definite must! 👍👍👍😀
What no water pump mister spraying like the Ocean breeze hitting you. Hey really proud to see you knocking videos out again. Brother we missed you & your videos in this house.
Hmm....how about a NASCAR firesuit hooked up to a cool box? Now that would be kinda neat. If it helps drivers withstand 140+ temps in the car, it oughta do good in the garden !
Pig weed and Bermuda grass here in the desert are the biggest problem. Okra grows 10 ft. tall here and the stalks are litteraly as big around as a Campbell's soup cans. (I have a photo to prove that) Thats exactly what I do to weed, get down on my hands and knees to be effective and organic. Alwas enjoy you're informative videos Bobby. I think I speak for everyone who is glad to see you back.
So good and glad to see both you! And the fan and tent shade are excellent ideas! Looking forward to your next video as many others are too!PS- I’ve been wondering how you were!
It's days like yours that make me glad i live in canada lol. I can dress for the cold but there is only so much i can take off before the cops will be called :P
A product we have used this growing season called Preen, works really well. Keeps grass out more than anything else. Still have to weed the garden from time to time, but it makes it easier.
heck by next week, you'll have the whole setup on wheels, pulling it through the garden with a lawn mower , can't wait for that video , thanks you all!!
This is great I was hoping you where coming back do you have a Facebook page by chance where people can show you pictures of the stuff that you showed us how to do I would like to show my version of your trellis system those wires that you used really kicked my butt trying to use them so I got some braided cable to use in between the posts and I ankered it down like you did but I used ratchet straps. Easier for me 😂 working out pretty good but I did not build the brace made from top rail so I got a sage in mine. But it is working and am learning and it is awesome hoping to have a green house next year. Well have a good one my friend God Bless from Oklahoma
Happy to see you back, MHP Gardener, and grateful that you both once again are sharing your gardening tips with us.
I loved how humorous and joyful you too are.
Listening to you both laughing just made my day. Can't help but hear the joy you find in each other. 💑 Thanks for coming back and sharing your life with us. You both are great role models........

LOL creative!!!
Is that a Louisianna acccent? what ever it is, I like it.
that would be the ultimate "good ol boy" accent.
Born in downeast NC....but I understand some of my heritage settled parts of Louisiana...so that might explain it.
Have fun and growing green
Great ideas!
Glad to see you back.Do you know how Mr. Donald webcajun is doing miss him and hope he is ok?
heck by next week, you'll have the whole setup on wheels, pulling it through the garden with a lawn mower , can't wait for that video , thanks you all!!
Wow looks amazing, I love okra soo much x I got only few as I can't grow them properly in uk
You two know how to have fun together!!!
Just 2 kids playing around !
Hope you are back for good now... How are the mater's?
Maters done good outside this year. My wife is canning them every way you can think of.
Wooooweeee that’ll be a mess of good okra!
Spray Flex Seal around the base of your plants. Just crazy enough to actually work. 😉
I have done this lol.
Love it!
Love the fan lol
You guys are too funny.
Amen, I hear ya fellow Gardner/homesteader. That was so funny...smart tho❤️👍
Hey, when you are out standing in your field you will find a easier way. Lol
What kind of garden seat was that in the begginning?
I get to hot at about 70. I use my roof thing quite a bit.
I will have to remember that.
American ingenuity at its finest.😉 love seeing you, Cindy
P.S. were you hit by the hurricane? I have no idea which state you’re in.
I'm in southern Virginia.....nothing but hot weather and late day storms. Thanks.
I plant my plants in a short piece of 2" dia PVC pipe. That way I can use a weed eater to keep the weeds down.
Are you still doing hydroponics?
Me too,me too!!
HAHAHAHAHA heck yea thats the way to pull weeds--- blessings
