- Finally got my twin turbo ls camaro a nice flaming river rack and pinion. I have been using the factory steering for all this time and it was getting pretty sketchy. I'm honestly thinking it was the original stuff from 1968... They just don't make them like they use to boys lol. Got some texas speed rotating parts, and built trans (more info coming soon)

You could also switch to a front motor plate and eliminate those motor mounts all together. Will be lighter too.
Lengthen the piece on the rack to get the u-joint up a little higher and it might clear.
Would swapping spindles Left to right switch position for the tie rod forward
what engine are you using, are you using gm power steering pump, if so what do you do about pressure differences that flaming river wants that are alot lower than gm power steering pumps
This is a manual rack
And it’s an ls engine
did the steering shaft affect your header tubes? did you have to reroute any tubes?
Well I haven’t set the engine in yet but I have forward facing turbo headers. If I had long tubes going out the back I doubt it would clear.

Is this kit designed to work with a BBC/SBC?
Yes I believe it is. Probably why I’m having issues with it hitting the ls swap mounts 😂

@@Rev2lateRacing I did put arp head bolts on it . When I replaced the heads . Copper head gaskets too lol . I’m not going to do it. Transmission won’t hold up 😂
