Dude!! This was the exact review I needed. Currently also have the BX8's and they just do not translate ANYWHERE. Was planning on the LP8's but needed that extra push of confidence, so thank you very much. I'll be back to your page for sure!
I think Kali audio needs to do some 8 inch speakers for home use with BT, volume Control, HDMI imputs, usb-c, RCA and maybe XLR because i need them for my setup
*Rebelling and sneaking out (at night?) of the "Death Star" ------- legendary behemoth JBL ------- and deftly Euro-stepping the Superlaser.* *Then becoming Jedi-fied (?) and returning to fight the behemoth! POPCORN TIME!* *Saving up for a pair of IN-5 or LP6v2.*
Greetings. Would you recommend these for low volume listening, on a regular basis. Or perhaps the Focal Alpha 65s. I’m looking for something where the low frequencies are also audible at low volumes.
I was say these would do a really decent job at low volumes with bass frequencies. With the dip switches on the back, you can actually boost the lows if needed. For lower frequencies at lower volumes, I'd actually recommend these over the Alpha 65s. The Alpha 65s really start to shine when you get to a louder volume.
Well what kind of budget are you working with? I use mine mostly thru a pair of Focal Alpha 65s. And I love them. I've also used the Kali Audio LP6 and LP8, both are solid choices and very affordable!

Excellent! The difference between the BX8a's and the LP8's are night and day! You'll be very happy with the performance improvement.
Thank you! Glad you are back. Greetings

@@ZachWirchak Got it, thanks.
Hi! I am planning to buy Fractal FM3 Mk2 Turbo. Which studio monitors would you recommend to go with the FM3?

Not sure if you know, or I should have mentioned... but I use a FM3 on the daily for tracking in my studio.
@@ZachWirchak thanks Zach! I will go with the LP6 or LP8
