Cheers mate! Even after 2years uploading tha video....it saved my MAC to be resurrected again! The safe mode trick (Shift+CMD+V) finally did the trick :))
I think that your hardware was fine. The problem was that the operating system crashed or could not save files before shutdown (for example when you close the computer by power button and no from the Apple menu). This problem does not let you enter the os environment, so you have to reinstall Mac os from internet recovery.
Tried The Disk Utility directions, holding command, R and power. No apple came up this time, it says "Starting Internet Recovery. This may take a while." What does this mean? Should I shut down and move to next thing to try?
@tiffcolon, For me in this step, I had to wait and then reconnect to my wifi. Following that the Disk Utility shows up. However, it is not showing my external drive in the list.

Hi Ali, I am unable to perform SMC or NVRAM reset without charging adapter attached. I have to plug-replug the battery and then attach charger to boot up. Any solution? I tried every method without charger but it's not working. Btw, your video is very informative.

@@Booookks Thank you so much for your response. Same here! I managed to retrieve my data from the internal HDD and then replaced it with a SSD. I reformatted the HDD and put it inside a case so it can be used as an external hard drive. Best wishes.

My Macbook Pro 2011 15" doesn't reboot. At first when this happened I followed one suggestion to override the GPU. The Mac worked. Then it was going on fine and I didn't switch it off, but would put it to sleep when I wanted to end the session. Then one day it got jammed and hung. Hi Ali, question please, I have a mid 2012 Mac and was not used for a while by my son. I managed to replace a broken HDD cable, worked fine and able to install Catalina. However, when booting up, randomly it is okay, but most of the time it would display the flashing folder ? and/or the prohibit sign.. I tried many tricks I can find in the internet to press combination of various keys but none to have really fixed the issue. What do you think is wrong with this machine? I know it is old, but I'd like to utilize this one for simple home internet usage. thank you.
thank you for the instructions, i just solved my problem after following every options. it took me 30 hours. internet recovery mode and then reinstalling OS. it showed 49 hours left. just make sure Wifi is available at all the time and ur mac plugged in. didnt loose any data.

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro 13 inch, it won’t show my usb installer nor my ssd when I power on and option key, But when I do internet recovery mode (command R / option + command R) I see my ssd( new clean ssd) and my usb install drive. The issue with internet recovery is that the Mac OS won’t finish downloading it just stops at any random times, sometimes it’s 2 minutes left, or 10 minutes etc.. Hi, transfer of files comes at last. First make sure that you've tried all solutions fully enough. Then you need an external hard drive and a cable called thunderbolt cable.

I hold down Command/R, the boot up bar fills a little over half way then the screen turns blue and - nothing! ---- help!

Try holding those buttons for 5 minutes regardless of the screen, it takes a long time just hold them trust me
