- I can't believe how longs it's been since this channel sat down with @everyone and discussed a Top 10 list of warships! Good news! That's exactly what we're doing today on the 3 year anniversary of the game's launch! While these warship tiers are based "primarily" on PVP the logic will also apply in other areas as well. So, if you need help planning which direction to go this is the video for you!

Awesome list. Now I know what ships to aim for. At lvl 38, just got the Augur and I’m loving it for pve, but it is very slow. 50 shards away from the d4. The Pilum looks pretty sweet. Somebody in my alliance has one.

With all the changes that are happening now you should approach the subject like those old outdated videos don't exist for new players and those new to watching your videos

Level 44 pilot here. Great list, very helpful! And I have heard so much good about the pilum that I can't wait to get it. :-) I've just finished grinding the Pilum BP's just need 2 more ops level so I can build it hehe.
It would be interesting to see where the newer ships fit in pvp, like the Borg Cube, Voyager, Monaveen and Talios.
Its just a shame that since G5 ships came out that the G4 epics are redundant and outclassed in every way. I think that the game balancing is completely broken, I am not sure what the answer is either beyond reducing the level bounds you can hit, or re-writing the entire combat system so that you can reinforce ships, retreat, or otherwise rather than presently when you get locked in combat with a ship that's 100x your power and no way to kill it, especially the high shield repair rate between battles. There is no way to grind players down who have big ships by using lots of little ships for example.

Been awhile since I've been in this channel. $copely hasn't bothered to improve the game past satisfying their greedy grab for quick fast money.
When will they spend a small part of the $$$Billions players have already spent on the game to improve it?
- fix and eliminate reoccurring known glitches
-give us something other than ARCs that only add new ships and systems, which overload game server, thus; reoccurring glitches return after every maintenance.
-promote player retention by giving players a reason to continue to play the game!
Thumbs up if you are tired of getting to know new members, only to see them quit the game within a few months at most

Love the rep you give the G3 Enterprise. Mine is T5/30 (about to take it to T6) and I can whip 4 mil Enterprise's/D4's and 5.5 mil Jelly's

Yes - I agree with my Newton being where you have it. But, when can you tell me which of the OPS 53 Un Common ships are Ranked 1, 2 or 3?
I'm debating grabbing a valdore in a couple of months or waiting for pilum. Problem is, could be a looong time before I can get a pilum, even if I don't get a valdore
Going for the K'T'inga for nostalgia, then on to the Pilum. G4 Epic, who knows what the game will be like that far ahead.
Most people will only work on 1 faction so your choices for 42 and 46 is set. I was told to skip the 42, but the time it takes to get to 46 shipyard and 350k credits is so long I got the Kelvin.. but no plans to tier it up past 25... The jelly is great for pve but also something I will not tier up past 30.
Another great vid Rev. You hit with Rick Flair at the perfect time, it totally cracked me up! I'm at lvl 38 and was thinking the D4 was a good ship to build up.

Rev, Can you do an updated one of these for 2023? You mentioned some of the 46 ships being at 20M in Power. I just saw one yesterday at about 75M in power!
If we're going all around ships and for specific situations, I'd say this list is pretty spot on. One thing I have high hopes for the augur to exceed the enterprise on damage done to armadas events. Hard to say due to augur being tier 6 and enterprise almost maxxed, but Beverly gigi and Tyler are really nice for the augur. Bev Is tier 4 and gigi and Tyler are both 3. Once they get 4 and augur tier 8, it's going to hit really really hard
On top of that, I don't have cloaking for g3 epics. The augur's cloaking seems more beneficial
Maybe things have changed since this video, but I've got a T6 Enterprise that can't beat squat, for what that ship costs no way I'd put it as high as you did

Has anyone else always been bothered by the fact that the G4 ships designs are just copy and pastes of the G3 ship designs with minor additions?
And yet the Feds aren't as dominant as they are for G3

My Newton is a tier 6 at 40 mill power. Funny to look back on these videos and hear him speak about "high-powered ships" that are now absolutely meaningless. 100 million powered ships are pretty commonplace nowadays. A D4 might as well be a Khera. Same difference.

Love this list. Stinks that the H'GTHA didn't make the cut but I honestly wasn't interested as soon as the 5* ships came out.
That is a level 50 ship, this was up to 49. ;)
I didn't quite get why the augur is so low.
I have ignored romulan faction after getting faction locked in all 3, but I do spend a good amount of time farming Romulus. Mostly for the Valdore but get plenty of Virta vor and Pilum as well. (50valdore/vorta vor and 25 Pilum a week is easy to do with some commitment)
What ships do you use to farm Romulus?

Can we talk away teams a second? How about a video on how to crew them properly to get various loot, particularly trait XP so I can build up those officers
It looks like we're running into the faction rep issue. For those of us that went fed, we would have to give up TONS of faction rep to get as non fed ship like the pillum. Add that to the rep grind caps and we're looking at living full time in the game!

You could grind Ty-Gokor and get both fed and rom rep if you have klingon locked.
@@timmylangenberg actually, I just left the game entirely about 6 months ago. The trolls and cost to play just made the game not fun. Add in the bugs and the constant PVP and ivf found Diablo Immortal is just way more fun and much less stress. I've never woken up to my diablo character being raided at 2 am because a shield went down.

I just saw you video now :/ didnt pay attention in the day you release it. It looks like that im close to end my game carrier bc of it :D. I choose to go Fed way and im at 150M rep, others are at 10M so i cant do double rep grind now bc of it. So im fu..d now :D or take it easy and make a Kelvin bc of warp range

I'm just a little confused, in the 30s video when Nero was still busted you still ranked the auger clearly above the D4, when did your opinion change or is it specific to the 40s?
I think people didn't really know how to use the D4, but since that 30's video is the officer options it became a great PvP ship. Also, I think people under estimated how much better WOL gameplay you get from having an interceptor for grinding, really speeds things up. Ask any whale, and they generally hostile grind with intercepters
So should I go for something between the Enterprise and the Pilum or just skip those ships like you do with the level 26 and 32 faction ships?
Up to you! Personally, I leave that up to how long you expect it to take (F2P vs light spender). if you don't spend ANYTHING, I'd pick upa 42. If you spend a little, you could use ENT/ISS jelly to pilum

@@vlinderslagmarc im a mid/light spender and got a k'tinga. my thoughts are that 43-46 will be a while, and using the ting helps me along towards my khorinar instead of putting those rss into the smellyfish. the g4 impulse speed research helps, but not by a whole lot!

do you recommend in skipping the 40's uncommon ships to save up for a 40's rare. if so, will a max enterprise be enough for the grind until you get there?
Well he said that the 3* epics are good enough for the 40's so we can go straight to the 4* rares
@ an alliance member did this without any problems. Max d4 and a jellyfish. He did rush to 46 though. There is a limited amount of time it stays fun. But remember a 3* epic is much cheaper in repair.
No. I recommend going Valdore, then pillum then skip the epic g4 and go to G5. I really disagree with the ship placement in this video, especially the Enterprise at number 4 (bad joke, it’s not a top five ship). No offense but our server is crowded with g4 ships and almost no one past level 42 uses g3 ships for serious pvp as they typically get brushed away in any meaningful fight like a realta.
I've got several dozen servers where Enterprise is regularly used by people all the way up to 50, and to constantly eat valdores ^_^
Maxed enterprises really do eat valdores and black JFs. Hardest part is getting the warp range to be able to grind high level hostiles but I guess that's where a DISC helps
Did cloak add I to your rankings. cloaking temporarily eliminates the speed issue.. at least for the first hit
It doesn't eliminate the speed issue for grinding. If you have a D4 as your main, and your friend has the Augur, you're getting holstile dailes done 25% quicker than your friend, EVERY DAY
i beat pilium with Kelvin all the time. Wide aray of crews. i lose some aslo but i dont notice anything substancial leaning twards Pilum. now if both are maxed then yeah. but it can still be beat with the right crew in a Kelvin.

Top 10 PVE is about crews, not ships, really.
@@RevDeuce Rev, when grinding Reds, we know that PMC gives max defensive mitigation, at high level grinding where you're using G3 epics, do you think any additional peircing value of using the triangle matters? Will an Augur beat level 41 explorers easier than a D4 due to having better piercing or is it now noticeable?

I was just having this argument in my alliance. People were saying Valdore as the best uc due to the free rss for upgrades. I disagree, and I went K'tinga. LOTS of good research in the 40s eats up gas, and I've been able to get through that while still scrapping legionaries to get the beefy boi bortas up to 11.5mil. I get over the speed issue by making my enemies hate me so much they come to me 🤣
Also, cloaking helps with PVP, can just creep up on the ones who run...

If Scopely would’ve indicated Cloaking would ever be a thing before the 10m faction selection, no one would’ve gone Fed. Fed ships like Kelvin and Newton lower powered than Klingon/Romulan ships and then add lack of cloaking…. Fkin pissed. Locking Fed and then grinding Romulan is only option for me at this point.
Is a vi'dar a good ship to go for?
Vidar is an essential ship along with Franklin A. They are both useful for generating revenue through the refinery.

So Valdore is best 42 and Pilum is best 46...thats a lot of Rom Credits. But I guess if you went Kelvin at 42 then you'd still want the Pilum at 46 and you've just wasted all your Interceptor Parts. Guess you are pooched either way, unless you have Klingon rep to do the K'tinga instead at 42.

Well i kinda agree on the iss jellyfish i have smashed 6.5 million one's with my 5.2 million enterprise but at the same time the jelly is only t5 at the there was a guy on our server that had T7 one that has smashed t8 augurs and enterprises straight after each other i seen it first hand and it was only crewed for exploders and yes same lvl of player so i dunno. People call them bad but try kill and T9 jelly with a maxed enterprise see how ya get on 🤷♂️

A major part of the ranking was the quality in PvP. And when trying to PvP, you need enough speed to bring the target to battle.

@@RevDeuce Also Quality Of Life when grinding reds, the impulse speed of an intercepter really does make it a better experience than battleships, every day

Valdore above Kelvin due to rss and not it’s PvP ability. Hmmm. I see Valdores getting blown up left and right by Kelvins and even Jelly’s lol.
Clearly the person who is crewing the Valdore has no idea how to crew the ship. My Valdore does not lose to Kelvins ever, and rarely loses to pillums. Valdore is hands down one of the best pvp ships at G4 level, if crewed correctly.

If a valdore is getting regularly beat by Jellies/Kelvins then someone is putting Keenser-M'Benga-0712 as the bridge crew.

Sorry but there isn't the gap between pilum, korinar and newton that you are saying, i agree it's the best ship however a high tier newton vs a similar high tier pilum both with decent crews and the newton will win.... this shocked me too but i've seen the screenshots, also the valdore sucks as yuki marcus combo is just way too strong vs it and in armadas it doesn't really fire hard enough, all the G4 uncommon's are kinda average
I agree on the G4 uncommons, however if a light spender you may as well get one as a new toy to prevent boredom in the game, as levelling from 42 to 46 is HUGE. If you were a fresh 42 player, which G4 uncommon would you take? I'd take the KTinga, on the understanding it would mainly be an Armada, PvP and Mission Boss ship anyway and your G3 epic will be used for rep grinding until Ops 45
@@gp8231 I suspect i would take the ktinga too if i was being sensible, its also the only one not really impacted by the G3 Ent. Unfortunately battleships drive me nuts so i may take the kelvin for the added speed in pvp although cloak could make me change my mind as i could slowly sneak up without them running away i suppose. Valdore would be bottom of my list out of those 3.
Sorry, but it seems like you chose to pick on the Kelvin since you hate Fed maybe? No other explanation makes sense. Placing it below the D4 is just silly. The Kelvin caps out at like 3 times the D4s power and has significantly higher warp range. You mention both those attributes as positives on other ships. I wonder why they don’t apply to the Kelvin? Also, the Newton at #3? The thing is made of tinfoil.
I agree about the Pilum and the Enterprise by and large, but some of these rankings are suspect.
Why would I hate fed when my best ship is fed? lol. It does have higher warp range, but it doesn't have higher value. D4s can eat Kelvins, and dumping a ton of resources into making a kelvin a 10M+ ship is a waste. It's simply not a good pvp ship value wise. ^_^
@@RevDeuce honestly I’m just hazarding a guess. The only fed ships you seem to like are the Enterprise and the Saladin. Both of those are by far the best in their class, and who wouldn’t love the Enterprise? It’s why we all started playing the game! It’s just an observation but it always seemed to me like if a fed ship wasn’t hands down the best, you never liked it. Given your (understandable) love of Klingons and your regular statements about fed not needing cloaking because they get everything else, it seems like you’re not too high on the fed.
Back to the D4. You’re comparing a maxed D4 to a baby Kelvin. I’ve got my kelvin up to tier 6 and I’ll admit, it’s getting challenging. But it wasn’t that big a deal to get here and it’s almost 12 million. The D4 will never get there. It just can’t, even if you bought the cloak. I like the D4, it’s come a long way, but it’s not comparable to a G4 ship with even a few tiers on it. Just my 2 cents. Love your videos. Been watching for years. Keep it up!

put yuki as captain plus J Harrison and Khan on a Korinar and it will eat pilums without a sweat. Pilum for rank 1 just because of the looks 👌 😁
You can also easily anti korinar loadout for the pilum! Firing pattern just too easy to manipulate and dominate! I do love the Klingon love, and Yuki is hella underrated by so many people!

but "power" means nothing. the FP of the Pilum is far superior, and empty ship vs empty ship the pilum will generally win.

@@RevDeuce I don't hate you, I don't like the klingon looks. My Fed rep is 27 mil - Romul rep 22 mil - klingon rep all many months -2 mil. The skins of the klingon ships no my tast
Dude, Pilum cannot be the best ship for levels 40-49, as its requirement is lvl46. So it might be a best ship for level 46-49, but not for levels 40-45.
My Newton eats Pilums for breakfast and with the impulse research is nearly as quick

Also D4 better then ENT? oh nooooo. D4 dont beat me in my ENT. im pretty sure i have never lost a PVP battle vs a D4. i have had D4 with full anti federation and nope. Against the triangle.. nope
Completely lost me early by having the Valdore ahead of the Kelv and KTinga.. Of the 3, I would put Valdore at the bottom, not because of the ships but simply because of Yuki, Marcus
