- With so many new players in the game, and so many new features, @everyone is feeling the pressure to focus more and more on officers. Which is fine, as long as you know how to get started. Before you reach level 30 you should really have the officers in this video either maxed (Tier 5) or at least to Lt. Commander (Tier 4). Also go over the basic background effects of Hull Breach, Morale, & Burning and which officer matches perfectly with his Rainbow Faction Away Mission!

Small correction: burnings hull substraction is applied at the end of the round though since the changes month ago- this is what ended the era of "realta burning". The ship with the triggering burning officer has to be alive at the end of the round that the hull substration happens.
I'm going to repeat an easily overlooked point you made about non-priority officers. Some, like Chang, are worth leveling (not as a priority but as you have extra XP to use for events) just to use below decks because of their massive attack or health numbers.

Agreed on the Fed/Klingon/Rom recruit tokens every day, but I find it helps to wait for the officer recruit heroic events before using them, then it’s guaranteed uncommon crystal and tritanium every time it appears, something like 2-3 times per event cycle
That was very useful. I like it when you speak to players around my level. I still feel like I'm having a shitty account, but now I have a better idea on how to improve :)

Would be great to hear about alternative crews for things like armadas for when we need to send cards like Epic Kirk on away missions and stuff, as I've been holding him and many others back because they're my main armada/hostile crews etc right now.

Thanks for all the videos Rev, esp when it comes to officers since there have been soooo many new ones added. Since you talk about faction officers, if you've maxed out all the faction officers is it worth continuing to get the recruit token packs from the faction store and cashing them in? I'm close to going to lvl 39 and have maxed all the Fed faction officers at this point, so I'm just wondering if I should now be saving my Fed credits to put towards the next lvl of faction ship bps or just keep spending on the recruit tokens to get the transporter patterns?

Hey Rev, since getting the officer shards and promoting officers both require faction credits, what do you recommend is more important when having to make the choice between getting an officers shards or promoting another officer?

A Reminder => although Vemet has the exact same Ability values as Spock, Vemet still a huge disadvantage , because Nero can activate Vemet only every other round - unlike Spock + Kirk
georgiou improves a little, but kumak+gigi+vemet still not the best pvp againt morale, at least for me...

Quick question, I'm lvl 32, my Morale crew is maxed in a sense that I get transporter patterns but I didn't promote the rare officers because I want to save my fed credits to purchase Enty's BPs. Do you recommend to promote Spock to rank 5 for 12k credits or rank 4 Spock is enough ?
At this point I wouldn't, as you won't use spock on the enterprise anyway
For away teams and below decks max all rare officers

Ya ive got all 3 basic sets maxxed except the 3 epics. It went REAL fast doing the max draw daily. All my epics are like 2 steps from maxxed. I use the extra patterns to work on 6 of 10 for armadas. Almost have my augur then armadas will b alot easier.

you must be the luckiest player alive to keep getting Nanoprobe away missions. I may be see it once a week? Still a quality video. just wish my RNG rolls were better. I think its been three months since i got a lucky officer pull.
Key for me is running the 4/8/12s at all times to increase refresh rates

@rev duece does a single moral trigger in an armada trigger morale for all the officers in the armada? Like it does for hull breach and burning?
No it doesnt. Moral is an effect that lies on your ship while hullbreach and burning lie on the target- thats why all other ships may profit from it.

Rev, how do I get out of the negative with the klingon and Rom ? I'm almost at Admired with the Feds and -2 mil with klingon and rom. Any help is greatly appreciated
If you have reached respected with Federation start hitting them. Once you have locked a faction you can't go down.

lock fed, do all the fed missions you can. then pick one and do all of their missions. if it doesn't get you the 2m to get you out of the hole it should be close. hunt veteran traders at least 2k+ to the faction you are going for. stop doing fed dailies. takes maybe 2 weeks if you hunt aggressively and had a lot of missions saved up. good luck. several of my corp mates had to do it.
how do you get your UI zoomed out so far? I've been looking for this in settings and havent been able to do anything with it. I'm also using bluestacks
latest version (on android and on PC at least) on settings, general, extended zoom. thats it.
@@cmterac thanks for the tip. I did find it and noticed it was already on so i checked it off, reloaded and didnt not see any difference. Then did the same thing to on but did not see any changes to the UI. Not sure why it wont work but i'm playing on a laptop using bluestacks

How important is the strength attribute of a ship? Should I not read to much into it?
Officers/research/etc are much more important than that number

Why aren't you running lots of Away Missions all at once? At Lv37, I'm running between five and eight missions at a time. Am I missing something?
If I don't have any epic TNG officers, is it even worth promoting Beverly to rank 2?
