Yes! Don't use the point distribute node. Just use the point instance node and it will instance points where ever there is a vertex on your master object. This can be really handy if you want specific control over where things are placed.

I'd love to see is there any way to distribute points along vertex with some more precision, scattering is good for nature and buildings, but sometimes I want to make things align perfectly to grid, and rotate some faces with delay like in animation nodes, GN kind off lacks precission for now, or I'm too moronic to get it with attribute.

@@CBaileyFilm What I meant at the time was "normal" attribute didn't worked at the time without point distribution node meaning I couldn't face tiles on sphere to sphere origin. Now I think there is working attribute for that in alpha, but I found even better way, building points with animation nodes and using GN just for instancing, that is as precise as it gets and as fast as it gets. AN lets you output a mesh, and animating just points is not heavy task.

Yeah, make a new collection. Put all your objects there and then in geometry nodes system use Point instance and switch to collection and uncheck "whole collection"
i cant do it in new ver of blender the spherical radiance part @ 11:32 can you just tell me if i had missed something followed steps till there and facing issues only at spherical gradient part rest working smooth ver is 2.93.0 Kindly help me out

For the attributes names, i think you can right on click them (N panel or anywhere else) and then 'copy data path' (ex: rotation_euler)

That's amazing, but sounds sciencefiction for me. What's the way to learn that mograph blender controls from begginer mode?
The attribute sample texture node seems to not be in blender anymore. Is anyone aware if the feature was moved to another node?
In the latest version of 2.93, it doesn't accept "scale" in the Result input of the Atribute Sample Texture node. Rotation still works. Any advice?
use lower case alphabets when typing in scale, it should work
