      @@MiningChamber - I realize this is an old posting but going back over my older 30 series cards and trying to squeak out ever bit of hash rate I can due to the LHR cards that have flooded our market! I’m finding that this video is more relevant for the community and noobs like me than ever before. I love the flow of your information and when I find I’m saturated with info that most miners know by heart I will jump back a few seconds and re-listen to your videos until I’ve captured your recommended setting profiles, apply and restart. I find myself becoming more knowledgeable and confident than ever. I know enough now that I’m really dangerous so let’s see how many bricks I can create today! 😂 no, thanks for providing these vids and keeping them within a time frame that’s livable. Cheers

    Thank you, I think you're one of the only people that really talked about memory junc temps. Unfortunately I am running a 5700xt and it hovers around 92-96C mem junc temp, is there an average of memory life expectancy as this is my only worry right now and also dont want to void my warranty.

    • @MiningChamber
      @MiningChamber  4 роки тому +1

      If your at those ranges you don't need to worry much! I would say keeping it dust free and in good environment youl be set for 5 years based on your luck ofc. Maybe less or more. Silicon lottery

    You no longer void your warranty by working on your card (even if it has a void sticker on it) in (North America) you may violate the terms if you send a card back with a modded bios, so always have the stck one handy if possible.

    Why did you say we shouldn't change voltage (mv) in nvidia cards in this video? I lowered mv to 700 (lowest possible in curve editor) and it reduced my power consumption by 10 watts (a little bit further than lowest power limit % reduced it). I'm not getting any crashes.

    Cool video man. But FYI at 6:40 memory clock overclocking doesnt increase heat. Heat is directly proportional to voltage/power limit

    • @MiningChamber
      @MiningChamber  4 роки тому +1

      Oh interesting, although with the 5700 xt and 5600 xt once I increase memory clock I see a relationship between the temps and the heat. So maybe GPU specific? Since the voltage plays a role with the core mainly not the memory chips but if we reduce the memory voltage then yes it will most likely have the higher impact on it. I will try to look more into it although let me know your thoughts!

    fantastic video, I just for some reason am making my PC reboot immediately after applying the overclocking settings. I am using an RX 580 and I followed the settings on the mining chamber page for it. I tried using the radeon software and then by entering the commands in the script like you showed in the video. Both times instantly rebooted my computer when I applied/Ran with the settings.

    hey mining chamber great video as usual! I have a 6 gpu rig 5700xt, getting 51mh at around 75 watts each in hiveos, no bios mod. Using 50/1350/725/650/1275/900. In your experience around how many watts should i add to 75w to estimate how many watts are being pulled from the wall for each card?

    • @MiningChamber
      @MiningChamber  4 роки тому

      that is pretty good! I have not seen those OC settings before but I would say usually its adding 40 watts, but givin that you have 75w on the software I think you should be at 120-130 watts off the wall. Best way to check is with a meter for sure!

    Hey Man¸ regarding the 5700XT OC version, they have a bios switch with tree position. Could you kindly explain which one is silence which one is performance and what is the third position? Should I bios mod them even if they’re OC version. Which position should I put the bios key in order to use it as is for mining? I pay a fixed amount every mount for my electricity so that’s not a great concern. Thanks for the great content.

    • @MiningChamber
      @MiningChamber  4 роки тому +1

      Hey! It doesnt matter which you mod. The BIOS switch is just your option if you brick your GPU. As to know which is which you will need to look up your GPU model manual and check there. Like I mention in the video, Pre-OCd gpus dont make any difference. Thank you!!

    is it normal that my rtx 3070 is in the mining process always on 98%-100% and will it hurt the gbu or is temp the only thing i should look at ? And can i play and mine on the same time or is this a bad idea? thanks a lot!

    Can I change the values in MSI Afterburner WHILE the GPU is running or do I need to stop the mining process first?

    Hello! My rtx 3080 gives me 102.8 mh/s with the follwing settings: core - 200, mem clock +3000, pl 250w (under hiveos). No rejected shares for 3 days so far. Is it a rational thing to overclock it like that or should I stick to +2k mem clock as suggested at every corner of internet?
