There the third rarest of the bristletooth s (Chevron is second rarest and then the holy grail of bristletooth tangs is the white tailed bristletooth tang)
Could you do an all about on the ribbon eel because I might get one and I’m curious about how many I can have and if I can have another type of eel with it like a zebra eel
That's a rare one, but I'll definitely try to get some footage of one! I can tell you this, it's best to have the ribbon eel be the only eel in the tank.
Hey Brock, I have a 90-gallon mixed reef that is about 6 months old. I bought a yellow tang about 4 months ago and I love tangs so I would like to get a couple more. I am concerned about the aggression my yellow may have on new tangs. What about introducing two new tangs at the same time to counter the aggression? I have an opportunity to get a yellow belly hippo and a powder blue at the same time. I am a bit concerned about possible ick issues with the powder blue. The guy with the powdered blue has had a group of them for a couple of weeks. He says they are eating well and no signs of ick. I have to transport them over a 2-hour drive (stress concerns here). Some tang background...along with my yellow tang, I have a bluestreak cleaner wrasse, bi-colour angel, 2 clowns and a PJ cardinal. I may rehome the bi-colour angel (picking at my corals), PJ Cardinal and clowns. They all came from my previous tank.
@@BrockLeonard I've got reagal yellow and sailfin in there brock as well also can you have more than one fire fish together cheers mate awesome videos keep up the good work
Oh it's omnivore! The LFS seller told me it was only herbivore! I wonder why mine would eat mysis. I was surprised to see a fish eat GHA. I have a lot and my tang team up with a sea hare to decimate the GHA.
This is the same tang we have and it’s one of the smallest fish in the tank yet beats the s* out of the Scott’s wrasse and swallowtail angel but also, they only go for film and diatom algae Edit: 6ft tank with this and a achilles tang, how would that work out (Ours is very aggressive to most new fish)
Another great video. Keep them coming.
Another tang I like added to my list! Keep up the amazing videos Brock! :)
They’re damn well aggressive...
Edit: we have one and it’s an a- hole to our swallowtail angelfish and Scott’s wrasse
@@i_cant_think8947 Eek
@@mr.shrimp3128 yup, even a scopas tang is less aggressive
That tang is beautiful, ive never seen it before

so many types
Can you put the blue and yellow in together
It is possible. It's best if they are placed in the tank at the same time.

very interesting
Would one of these be ok with a sixline in a water box frag 105.4 as the only 2 fish?
Yes! Those would do well together.

I just got one with a V/tang & a sailfin tang already in tank for my 220
NICE!
@@BrockLeonard I just got a yellow angel fish what will they eat i gave it krill. flake food so far thx you
Hey, I have a question how to you maintain your alkalinity and ph in your tank?
Dosing and making sure to put buffed freshwater in the tank to top it off. Currently using Brightwell Aquatics chemicals.
So I see they like long tanks so you wouldn’t recommend them in a 93g cube style tank?
I’ve actually seen them do really well in those cube tanks. With enough live rock set up to swim throughout, they stay really happy 😊
@@BrockLeonard great thanks for that very helpful. Keep up the great videos!
