- Wishing you all a great year in 2024. January is now over and I only managed two days boating. I kept busy by dreaming of warmer weather and sorting out bits and bobs to make my adventures and life a bit easier.. and hope you enjoy the video ..my first for 2024

I certainly hope so too Alex ..Im looking forward to March and start some wild camps. Its still just to short a day for than. Only 9 hours of daylight as well as rain ..but days are getting longer and hopefully dryer :-D
We are heading up to Loch lomond in 2 weeks ,aslass with out my Sib . Going to take a Driver over to Loch Etive to take in the views I see on your films Donny, please keep posting them I've found them very informative and wish to get on the lakes myself this year , all the best 👍
If you get time have a look at Lochgoilhead and Loch Fyne too ..both great sheltered sea lochs near Loch Lomond ..hoping you get good weather for your visit too :-D

Yup..Im delighted to be still around SNEVIC ..it was a long dark month up here and storm after storm. Still spring is coming so I will be around more . Happy new year to you too :-D

I have been waiting for the latest informative / inspirational / motivational DW video! The weather has indeed been rubbish, my wee boat is based at Largs and I have not managed to get out in January at all.
Looking forward to all your 2024 adventures and seeing your haul of treasures......👍
You will know how bad the weather has been then Libertas ..Largs is not so far away. Its a while since I have been in the Clyde so need to get back for a visit this year 😀

Thanks david .. I will get my first outing of the year video uploaded in the next week ..I had a lovely but bitter cold day at sea on 6th January ..only went 12 miles though..but an interesting journey which Im sure you will enjoy too :-D
Hello Donny and happy new year. I can see the sale of Palm Atom Bib Dry trousers going through the roof after your recommendation 😅. I have a pair of the Palm trousers and do like the build in sock which are better and more breathable than the rubber build in socks. Pleased to see you keeping active with the sawing machine. My old mother would be delighted to see me keeping her sewing machine going Steve.. it was her life making clothes and stuff as well as teaching homecraft and sewing in the schools. Im the only one left in the family that can thread a needle though :-D
It's a good trade to know. Wor lass also does a lot of sawing and always tells me I should learn how to do it. Now I have seen your handy work I may give it ago. Steve 👍

Nice one Donny! Loch Etive looked absolutely heavenly as it often does, so well. I will be visiting your promised land for a week at the end of April into early May. Hope the weather will be relatively kind! And may bump into you too 👍

Alright Donny....good to see you out n about once more...i use the zubat for sticks n the katana boy for bigger wood..super saws...im also into the metal detecting...aint tred magnet fishin yet? Good luck with that
